The toilet cistern containing the malfunctioning flush mechanism was mounted behind a false wall (bathroom aesthetics by a prior owner). It was impossible to remove the cistern and fix the issue without destroying the false wall. The technician decided to try and access the cistern by removing the entire toilet bowl. Through the waste hole then revealed through the false wall, he was able to get to the bottom of the cistern and to effect a repair. He then restored the toilet bowl to its position. Though this took longer, he left the bathroom undamaged and with the repair completed. Most people would either have given up or destroyed the false wall. I am very pleased with the work and the lateral thinking displayed by this employee and by Whites PHS for training him to think like this.

We have had the benefit of Whites' services on a number of occasions over several years, mostly relating to the repair and maintenance of a quite complicated heating system. The service each time has been invariably reliably excellent on all counts.

I have used Whites PHS on two separate jobs over the past 18 months, to replace a water cylinder and more recently work on a new controls for my heating system. The engineers who visited were very capable and it was a pleasure to deal with the reception office who coordinated the work, since I could explain my requirements in non-technical terms and be confident they would get sorted out. Good proactive clear communication from Whites when they had to reschedule my smaller non-urgent job. Arrived when expected. Job done very efficiently in less than 45 mins. Left everything clean and tidy. Invoice was less than quote due to less time needed. Use regularly for boiler servicing also. Will always be my first point of contact going forwards for other jobs.

I had not used White's PHS Ltd before and initially contacted them to fix an issue with a toilet cistern. I thought that this little job would be a top priority, however it has been viewed and fixed within days. Due to this I then used to replace shower cubicle, and plumbing to 2 radiators. Couldn't be happier with the friendly efficient service from everyone, including the admin team and engineers. I would definitely recommend!!

We needed to service a gas boiler at a new property and booked this company on a family recommendation. When the engineer arrived we 'mentioned' a cistern leak in the bathroom. No trouble at all, Terry scheduled it in with the office and sorted everything at one visit, even though it wasn't as simple as first appeared. Great customer service, professional attention to detail and a thorough assessment of our legacy heating system. We found communication with office staff to be prompt, courteous and friendly, and this is how we now regard them as our first port of call for plumbing and heating.

Have used White's PHS Ltd as my plumber and heating engineer for around 20 years, over which time the company has grown in size and workforce but with the same satisfactory work and friendliness. They usually come quickly and have provided complete replacement of the heating system, bathroom suite and minor repairs over the years. Haven't needed anyone else, nor expect to.

Chris and Harry spent three days creating a zonal system, adding more pumps and a low loss header to our central heating. They were professional, efficient and competent. The job required installation of a new oil fired boiler, oil tank, two new radiators, new rad valves and full system flush/balance. Chris and Milo did a great job from start to finish. Everything ran to time. They were very tidy and always went the extra mile without fuss - including moving our washing machine out of the way as I couldn't move it after having surgery. We were kept fully updated as the work progressed and we now have a fully functioning heating system. Chris even said they would come back to replace a panel on the boiler unit as it had a small dent in it. The price for the work was competitive. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

We have used White's PHS before to fit a new bathroom and toilet and they were excellent then. We chose them to fit a new boiler due to that previous good work. The quote was also competitive and also provided a greater depth of information when compared to the other companies we asked to quote. The work was completed within 2 weeks and to a high standard. The fitters were polite, very neat and cleaned up as they went. All floors were covered with protection before the job started and all waste was removed after they had finished. Overall very good indeed and a trusted supplier we would use again.

Whites completed work on our heating system, changing pipes to radiators. The work was done incredibly tidily, with no mess or disruption. The work was done on time. Excellent service and quality of work.

After contacting the company, which in these times can be an issue, I had an appointment, coupled to the necessary terms due to Covid 19 within a day. The plumber arrived on time, finished early and everything was fine. The invoice was emailed to me, and paid by BACS same day. It was the most efficient in communications, timekeeping and execution I can remember. An example to anyone in the trade or for that matters any trade.
