Hi, I have just had a repair to my soil pipe and a drain completed by Wicklen Limited. The company and its representatives did a first-class job. The repairs were completed in a timely manner, over 3 days. The quote was accurate and adhered to as was the scope of work. I was very impressed by the friendliness and the operating procedures employed by the men, they kept me advised of the progress and planned works for the following day. They cleaned up after themselves after every shift and worked with minimal disruption, always leaving the services usable at the end of each day. I would highly recommend this company as I found them both trustworthy and expedient in there work. I would have no qualms about using them again. Well done guys.

Knowledgeable, explained what was needed to complete the job. Work was tidy and neat. The company exceeded my expectation by getting the job done in a day, because of the red warning storm expected for the next day.

We recruited this company to investigate a sewage smell coming up into our property, we were starting to lose hope as many other supplier had investigated but couldn’t get to the bottom of it. Much to our surprise within a few days the issue was identified. We instructed them to progress and carry on the work, we were in a rush to get the issue sorted. Despite a busy calendar the company had moved things around and started that week, within one week the issue was resolved and the smell removed from the house. We were very impressed with their capability , professionalism and efficiency to get the job done. If we have any other issues they will be the first company we call!

Keith came to check out the problem. They were able to attend the next week and worked through freezing weather for three days identifying and correcting the problems. They are a friendly and enthusiastic team and worked hard. They are very tidy and very helpful. We have used them before and would do again and would recommend them to friends and neighbours.

Wicklen were able to carry out a drainage survey on our property at very short notice and completed remediation works within one week of completing the survey. Site was left in a clean and tidy state and you would not have know that work had even been carried out. Cannot fault the service. Excellent company to deal with.

A rat entered the loft via the cavity wall of my bungalow via the drainage system from underground. I spoke to Keith who attended within 2 days and sent a camera down through the piping. Following this, it was established the rat had entered by using a redundant pipe that hadn’t been properly capped off. Further arrangements were made, and within 12 days, the team arrived to carry out the work. After digging down to gain access, they also discovered a leak on another pipe which pumps out the washing machine water, plus, another redundant pipe which was part of an unused rainwater pipe! A swift and practical solution was suggested, whereby the leaking pipe and the redundant rainwater pipe were removed, leaving the original pipe in question to now be utilised as the new washing machine output pipe as part of a new drainage system. A new drain fitting and grill were fitted and cemented in perfectly. I have been very impressed with the service throughout, being professional, organised and fairly priced. Keith and the team were always approachable and friendly and their workmanship was spot on! I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again - highly recommended!

The response to my initial enquiry was quick, and an initial quote was given based on my description of the work required. Arrangements were made for the work to start and the guys arrived when they said they would. The inital job was to tidy up kitchen drain outlets, but once started the guys unearthed what turned out to be a manhole cover that had been slabbed over in the past and completely unknown to us. It was agreed that the job should extend to properly reveal and level the manhole to provide access to the chamber, and the guys got straight on with the job even though a couple more days of work were required. WE are very pleaed with the result evrything looks tidy and worked properrly. All good, and would recommend this trader.

We had been suffering from intermittent sewer odours permiating into the bathroom and occasionally beyond, despite seeking advice from two plumbers and a drain specialist no satisfactory solutions were found. After contacting Wicklen, Harvee conducted a CCTV survey identifying damaged pipes and an unusual configuration of the waste piping. Additionally, he identified a defective soil vent pipe that needed replacing. The damaged piping was was replaced; the piping configuration was simplified, improving the flow of waste; the defective soil vent replaced and a second vent added, adjacent to our waste outlet. The patio and path paving was carefully replaced and the final result has been the elimination of odour and a far neater appearance of our exterior piping and drains. All work was carefully explained before being undertaken and carried out in a timely and professional manner.
