Some nameless idiot installed a boiler system that had an immersion heater as a back up/alternative. That was in theory sensible...but not if you fail to do the necessary wiring! Mark went about putting this right, replacing the redundant parts with a circuit that works. It's a blessing to find an electrician who understands electrics and sorts things. Fairly priced as well.

Another fantastic service from Mark. The most recent job was removing an old oven and installing the new one. He is always quick to reply to requests and equally speedy at visiting the house to provide the service. Over the years, we have asked Mark to do several jobs around the house, and he has always been communicative, efficient, prompt, reliable and highly skilled. Mark recently fitted new recessed downlights for us, and we were very pleased with the service provided. Mark was professional throughout, clearly knowledgeable, and took the time to offer us additional help and advice. The installation was carried out efficiently and to a high standard, with great attention to detail. We would have no hesitation in recommending his services.

We had non-functioning electricals - bathroom light fixture and a fan. Mark is local to us, was able to make a near-term plan, showed up as arranged, and did the installation. The fee for parts and labour was reasonable. Should other matters arise, we would ring him.

We needed the consumer unit in our house upgraded, and Mark helped us understand the requirements and work with national grid ahead of the installation. On the day, Mark kept us informed of progress - finishing the work on time and to a high standard, all while also answering my many questions!

Finding a good, reasonably priced electrician is a nightmare. Williams Electrical was a wonderful find. Mark visited to assess the work, he gave me a time and materials guide price and followed it up with a written estimate promptly. We agreed on a time to do the works and he communicated well when he had to make a small rearrangement to the timing. He was personally charming and someone one feels happy to have in your property. The work was done as described and in good spirit on time. He is tidy in his work and disrupted me as little as possible. The work was completed, and an invoice itemising materials and labour costs in detail was issued to me within 24 hours. He forwarded the electrical certificate and Building control notice immediately. It felt like a very professional service all round, and he is a pleasure to have around. I have no reservations in recommending him, and he will undertake other works for me. The first tranche of work inc new updated consumer unit (fuse box), adding plug outlets, and earthing to gas and water supplies. His pricing is sensible and good value.

This is the second time Mark has done work for us. This time he sourced and installed new fire alarms throughout the house. He was punctual, efficient and the price was very fair. I would highly recommend him to others- he's a thoroughly nice man, very straightforward to deal with and completely reliable.

Mark did electrical work at both my house and my mum’s house. This is the second time I have used Mark for electrical work. He is reliable and polite and completes the work in a timely manner. He provides advice on best lighting / solutions. He purchased the lighting fitments on my behalf (saving me time & effort working out the best option). Reasonably priced.
