This was the first time I have used Willis-West. It was for a boiler service and I must say I was impressed by Mark. He struck me as being professional and competent (alerting me to something that had gone unnoticed by all previous engineers who had serviced the boiler over the past 9 years and advising me thereon without me incurring further expense ) as well as tidy in his work and friendly. Will definitely call again in regard to the boiler/central heating or plumbing in general.

We are thrilled to have recently found Mark Willis through this site and can vouch for the fact that he provides a fantastic service. From his first visit to assess the job, we realised he was someone who could be trusted. Our previous Worcester Bosch boiler had been driving us mad for well over a year. The pressure was continually dropping and our usual heating engineer suspected a leak but could not find out where it was coming from. We had wasted enough money on trying to get the boiler repaired and decided to go for a new one. It was only because of Mark's reputation (very much justified) that we went for another Worcester Bosch Greenstar boiler instead of a Vaillant, also recommended by Which magazine. He removed the old boiler and installed the new one for us on Wednesday, all with the minimum of fuss and cleared up properly afterward. He arrived at around 8.30am as promised and by late afternoon, the new boiler was installed and working and Mark was showing us the controls. Quietly efficient, he instilled confidence right away and along with his keen, helpful and cheerful, young apprentice, Ben, he just got on with the job. And I think the overall cost was much the same as the cost of installing the previous Worcester Bosch boiler nearly 12 years ago. One thing I would like to add is to say how great it is to see someone taking on an apprentice and obviously training them well. Ben seemed very happy in his job. It was a pleasure to have them here.

This trader gave the cheapest quote of those I'd gathered in the Glasgow area and certainly did not compromise on service. Job was done with no problems at all. Trader was courteous and caught me up to speed with how to change settings on the newly installed boiler. Excellent value. Highly recommended.

Contacted Mark after my 13-year-old boiler gave up the ghost. He was very helpful & quickly diagnosed the problem and, as requested, provided a quote for the broken part (plus a service) and another for a new boiler. I opted for the new boiler which he was able to fit 2 days later and was fully operational by the afternoon of that day. He appeared to me to be well organised and just got on with it. At my request, he even had a look at an unused gas fire I've got to make sure it was safe. He also reduced his bill because the work wasn't as difficult as anticipated! Sterling effort - certainly will use again.

Whole new gas central heating system

Mark and his team installed a whole new heating system in my 3-bed flat, and from initial consultation to completed work it was a great experience. The system works a treat- just in time for winter, and everything about the workmanship and products was/is fantastic- informative about the products, punctual & friendly, and were able to deliver the project in a way that allowed us to continue full use of the apartment for the duration.

Mark installed a new boiler for me, and I was happy with the job and service he provided from start to finish. After calling Mark during his holiday week, he unexpectedly got back to me on the weekend before returning to work to see what he could help with. By this time I had spoken to other boiler experts, who were nice enough, but I trusted Mark’s advice and it was also important to me that he was a very friendly guy too…life’s too short to work with unfriendly people who don’t seem to want your business!! After speaking through what I was looking for with Mark he provided a number of quotes (one for a particular model that was cheaper than another company’s quote, who had only provided one single quote too) and I was able to choose a boiler that suited my needs. My job was given unexpected priority due to the critical hot water issues we were experiencing and not too long after contacting Mark he was in the flat and installing the new appliance. The installation was completed with minimal fuss and mess. Throughout our doing business Mark was also an excellent communicator and made it clear he would be available if any post-installation issues. Very happy with the service provided, top job Mark!!
