This is the 3rd time I have used Window Fix and the service was as usual efficient, fast & friendly and seemed to be a reasonable price

I needed three doors and one window being repaired, as one door and the window were no longer closing properly, and the other two doors weren't closing at all. Matthew came to see me and provided a quote on the spot. He also let me know that because of the age of the doors, the parts he would need may no longer be available, but that he would check and get back to me. He did this very shortly after his visit, and thankfully the parts were available. On the day of the repairs, Matthew and his colleague Darren were polite, professional, and got all the work done successfully and quickly. As others have said in their reviews, Matthew was professional, honest and open, and his quote was provided on the spot. Should anyone else require window and door services, I would urge them to use Windowfix Ltd.

We had very old windows with old designs breaking up. Matthew came and gave us excellent advice meaning we were confident of moving forward to replace them. The windows were subsequently upgraded by Windowfix, who carried out the work speedily and efficiently. Thanks again to Mathew and his colleague for repairing the lock mechanism on our composite front door and also for repairing the runners on our old sliding patio door. Matthew visited to assess our stiff and noisy multipoint locking mechanism on our wood kitchen French doors. He diagnosed the problem, measured and ordered the parts and returned as scheduled to fit the new mechanism. I had not used him before but was impressed by his efficient organisation, promptness and polite and friendly manner. His work was carried out with no fuss or mess and we now have a quiet and easy to operate door lock. I would use him again and can certainly recommend him.

Matthew was courteous and friendly arrived at the time and date agreed. Work was completed quickly and efficiently with no mess. As a female pensioner on my own in the house I felt quite happy employing them. The final bill was the same as the original quote with no extra work suddenly being found as some traders are likely to do.

I had some blown windows and doors in my conservatory. I carried out a thorough review on checkatrade and trustatrader before selecting several companies to come and quote for the work. I was most impressed with Windowfix's Which accreditation and Matt's DBS certification so I left him until last as these two items made him the most likely candidate and I wanted to be sure that I'd explored all options before deciding. I quickly ruled out the other two companies following their visits as they could not give me the solution that I wanted. Instead they quoted for complete replacement doors and windows on the basis that new glass wouldn't fit into old frames. Matt came to look at the work that needed doing and I was impressed from the start. His van and his clothes had his branding on and he introduced himself. These are such obvious things but sadly lacking with the other companies. He was very polite and respectful and discussed what he would be able to do for me. He provided a quote there and then instead of me having to wait for an email. He clearly explained the payment terms and is a rare person as he didn't want payment upfront (which others did and I object to as there is no leverage if the work is unsatisfactory). I happily gave the go ahead for Matt to order the glass. Matt and Darren came to do the work. They were professional, respectful and polite throughout and cleaned up after themselves. I am very happy with the work and would happily use Windowfix again.

Had two replacement windows fitted in our conservatory. From start to finish the customer service was excellent. We were kept fully up to date with timings. I contacted Matt via his website page and he called me very promptly . I needed some glass to be replaced in a window that had been smashed by tenants . He came within the agreed time frame and measured up and then gave me a date of when he would call again to let me know when the glass was ready to be fitted . Provided prompt quote and then performed repairs to a good standard and on schedule. The team seemed very knowledgeable and were able to adjust our aluminium doors so that they now open and close smoothly. Would certainly recommend.

Contacted Matt re a key that had broken off in the lock of a tilt and turn window. He recognised the problem straightaway and quoted me for a job that would have involved replacing both locks (as sourcing the original ones would have been problematic following the liquidation of the manufacturer). Matt turned up within the time window agreed and, having initially thought he wouldn't be able to replace the locks after all, proceeded to try to remove the broken piece of key from the lock. Thankfully, he managed to do this and the whole job proved to be less time-consuming and costly as a result. Warmly recommended - we would definitely use Matt again.

I have used Windofix now twice this time to replace two handles and one double glazing window which has blown. I cannot rate the services high enough. I contacted Matt after finding him through an internet search and reading his positive reviews. We had a problem with a badly installed composite front door (not by him I hasten to add) and I didn’t trust the installation company to resolve it. Matt attended a few days after contacting him and diagnosed the problem which was poor overall fitting and overwinding of the hinge adjustments. He gave a fair quote and explained it would take a few weeks for the parts to arrive. He attended today and has made a first class job of rectifying our door. Matt is very knowledgeable and clearly passionate about his work. His communication was excellent, always responding to calls etc. I can’t fault anything and would use him again at a drop of a hat and recommend him to family and friends. Well done all round.

We needed several "blown" double glazed windows replaced on a house we are refurbishing to rent out. Most of the blown panes were of 1st generation double glazing and it was proving difficult to find someone who could do the job. Windowfix came to the rescue! Matthew Long clearly explained all the options and provided a quotation at the time of the inspection visit. The new panes were installed on the agreed date and I'm really impressed with the end result. This was much cheaper than scrapping the whole windows and installing completely new units.
