We’ve had solar panels, a large battery and an air-source heat pump fitted by Wise Green and Climatec. All the work done was highly professional. I got several quotes from various companies, Wise Green were the first to measure up before quoting. Other companies looked at google earth and quoted for more trans needed and space allowed. I felt happy going with a local firm albeit with a slightly higher cost (fully inclusive). The work was completed to a very high standard and ahead of schedule. A small fault developed but the electrician soon sourced the problem and fixed it almost immediately after I h as d highlighted it.

On this occasion the work undertaken was the installation of an Air-to-Air heat pump and two emitters for our Conservatory and bedroom. We wanted the ability to Air condition and cool in the summer in these key rooms and provide an additional heat source in the winter. From the initial survey to final commissioning, we were kept informed on progression and timelines throughout. Any issues encountered were dealt with professionally and the work was completed on time and to an exceptionally high standard. Excellent product, very pleased with the service and knowledge of the team. This has made a massive difference to our electricity bills and we have recommended this company to friends. The installation was completed in a timely fashion and the staff on site were professional and courteous leaving everything neat and tidy on completion of the work. We were given clear instructions on how to use the accompanying Solarman App to monitor production and consumption.

This is the second time I have used Wise Green to meet my sustainable Energy needs. Having had a PV system installed the next logical step was to have an Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP). There is no doubt in my mind Wise Green lead the field in Customer facing relations and meeting your needs. The Technical survey ensured that every aspect of the installation would result in an efficient system which has ultimately exceeded our expectations. The horror stories you often read about re ASHP installations is because this vital activity is not completed effectively, i.e. Radiators not replaced or of a size balance to the property & individual rooms, water cylinder and thermostat temperatures not set correctly. Wise Green's expertise in the whole process from commencement to completion was completely professional, accomplished on time and in this challenging market place second to none. The whole process remained two way throughout with absolute respect for the property and the result was a neat, tidy and very efficient system of which we are saving hundreds of pounds. All technical and administrative processes were managed by Wise Green including the £7500.00 BUS grant and all work completed with no VAT under existing Government legislation (which some companies who use 3rd party contractors apply). We were visited by Simon of Wisegreen Energy in November of 2023. As the MD he was keen to get out to see the customers personally to find out what motivated them to invest in greener alternatives. Ultimately, monetary savings was essential to help justify it, but we also felt we had the capacity to invest in more sustainable options. He explained the potential savings in our investment as thoroughly as he could and spent most of the afternoon with us. Following that meeting, Grant was our point of contact as Project Manager throughout to commissioning in early January. The work was professionally completed and all the relevant paperwork was sent to us for peace of mind. In our first year, our array of 20 panels and our storage battery has seen us make significant savings. Simon was really helpful in looking at different tariffs with electricity suppliers and advised us on how to set up our system, to get the best out of it. In February 2025 we had a minor technical issue arise with our Solis inverter. Wisegreen were out to us within 24 hours of calling them to help us resolve the issue. It is fair to say there may be cheaper alternatives out there, however, you get what you pay for. Simon and the team have been brilliant from the start.

As newbies to the solar panel world, we really appreciated using a local and family run business, who were available and approachable to answer our questions at every stage, to guide us through the process. Customer service and continued support are very important to us. Every member of the Wise Green team arrived and completed works as scheduled, and from scaffolders to roofers, to electrical installers, all were courteous, informative and helpful. Having decided to install solar panels and a battery system I was so pleased that I chose Wise Green Energy. From start to finish the process was professional and all appointments, installation days and times were exactly as planned. I was advised on the best equipment and system for my needs and decided to go for 10 Aiko 455w solar panels fitted with optional bird protection netting, a Givenergy Inverter and Givenergy 9.5kW battery. The panels are installed on my garage roof which faces due south and the inverter and battery are in the garage. The work was carried out to the highest standard and everything was done to ensure that I was happy with the system and that it was working correctly. Realising that we are now in the worst few months for a Solar system, my system has exceeded my expectations greatly. Even with the short winter hours of daylight on a sunny day we are able to run completely independently of the grid having charged the battery overnight on a cheap tariff and topping up from the Solar panels during the day. We even have managed to export a little to the grid which I wasn't expecting this time of year. I have no hesitation in recommending Wise Green Energy, not the cheapest installer around but the equipment supplied is of the highest quality so that you can be assured that you will have one of the best systems that money can buy. Remember the old adage "You get what you pay for", so true when it comes to Solar installations.
