Redecoration of small bedroom including plasterwork to ceiling and walls, fixing of insulated plasterboard, new skirting and coving. Full repaint of walls and woodwork. Also re-sited electrical points and installed new light fitting. Replacement of one double-glazed sealed unit. Helpful information contained in quote, work carried out in good time with care to our property and within budget. All staff attending were polite and professional. There was one problem with a leaking radiator valve which was dealt with promptly and efficiently.

We have used Ali and his team 3-4 times over the year and in this time, they repaired a number of issues for us. He replaced part of the fitted kitchen which was damaged and the broken integrated oven and microwave also had to be replaced and integrated. Once the work was completed in good time and clean, the kitchen looked amazing and the integrated appliances were perfectly blended it and worked fine - amazing job. He also replaced the whole ceiling in the porch as it had cracked in half and redecorated to make it look like new which was suburb. There was no mess and no paint runs or marks, another amazing job well done. The last thing he repaired for us was the kitchen pipe protective box door which was broken and would not open or close. The pipe and box were fitted to the top corner of the ceiling so he had to remove the door, fix it and then reattach it back and was fully tested to make sure all works as expected. Part of the solution was to be creative and find alternative solution to be able to open it to 90 degrees angle max and not further to prevent breaking again or falling off totally. We have always found him to be an amazing professional, impeccable manners, great communication, health and safety taken into consideration and all completed on schedule and wihin budget - no surprises. We have used traders in the past who have all let us down one way or other and therefore I would be very happy to say Ali is second to none and would always recommend him.

Ali has completed at least four projects for us including strengthening collapsing brickwork over the garage entrance, woodwork repairs, painting, and relaying granite patio paving. On our recommendation, friends had extensive work carried out by Ali to repair the leaking roof on their house and to make good the damage caused by the leak. His work is of excellent quality and very affordable. On occasion, he has not charged for minor work. It is good to have someone we can trust and rely when we need to have work done.

We have used Ali and his team on several occasions. What I appreciate most about Ali is his attention to detail and his determination to get everything right. He is as concerned about your home as he would be about his own. He sets high standards for himself and for those who work for him. Nothing is too much trouble, including popping around afterwards to check on and correct any remaining niggles. An added benefit: he and his team are very good company.

Following their successful installation of a new kitchen some years ago, as well as other repair and painting work, we employed Wittick Building Ltd again this year (2023) to renovate a small bathroom and separate WC in a Victorian converted flat. Ali and his team did a superb job - he always listened to what I was looking for, provided great advice when I needed it, and an exact specification of materials to purchase to minimise waste. He and his team kept to time and budget, were fastidious in tidying up after themselves (to the extent that's ever possible in building works), and kept in touch with me throughout the process, very promptly addressing all the inevitable snags at the end of the job. The finished works have been done to a very high standard (and I'm a picky customer!). Ali clearly takes pride in his work, and as a result I have no hesitation at all in recommending him and his team to others.

Ali and his team did a really fantastic job, demolishing two old sheds and removing a very large amount of heavy paving, garden debris and assorted rubbish in order to prepare and lay a large concrete base for a new summerhouse. It turned out there was lots more debris than expected but Ali cleared it efficiently and tidily and did so without any fuss to complete the job. He advised new fence panels and posts were needed which he then fetched and installed. Ali is friendly, professional and keeps you informed. He thinks creatively to find practical solutions and can offer helpful advice so you feel you are in very capable hands whatever the project. Plus he and his team are trustworthy and considerate and nice to have around. I have used Witticks Building services several times; for a beautiful patio, and exterior building and decorating and I am always impressed and pleased by the high quality of the work.

Whittick Building Ltd have just painted the exterior of our house. It was not an easy job as it had been neglected for too long and so there was some rotten woodwork and badly peeling paint. It is a largish house with over a dozen windows and exterior walls also needing painting. Whittick took it all in their stride. They arrived mid June as promised, worked very solidly and completed it in around 2 weeks. The painters arrived regularly every morning, were helpful and very organised and we could happily leave the house in their hands when we needed to go out. I have used a number of firms over the years and this was definitely the most professional and pleasant to work with, I will certainly use this firm again and would highly recommend them.

Ali was one of three companies who quoted for the redecoration of the hallway, banisters, landings and a high stairwell over 3 floors. His quote was in the middle of the 3, but I liked his/ attitude from the moment he arrived. Spotted important details which needed attention, and knew how to address them. Also clearly wanted to get a great finish so quoted for a few small extras which made the job sparkle. He and his colleague worked long days, fast work but excellent quality, and he obviously takes pride in his work. We will be going back to him for the next job for sure.
