Ali and his team did a really fantastic job, demolishing two old sheds and removing a very large amount of heavy paving, garden debris and assorted rubbish in order to prepare and lay a large concrete base for a new summerhouse. It turned out there was lots more debris than expected but Ali cleared it efficiently and tidily and did so without any fuss to complete the job. He advised new fence panels and posts were needed which he then fetched and installed. Ali is friendly, professional and keeps you informed. He thinks creatively to find practical solutions and can offer helpful advice so you feel you are in very capable hands whatever the project. Plus he and his team are trustworthy and considerate and nice to have around. I have used Witticks Building services several times; for a beautiful patio, and exterior building and decorating and I am always impressed and pleased by the high quality of the work.

Whittick Building Ltd have just painted the exterior of our house. It was not an easy job as it had been neglected for too long and so there was some rotten woodwork and badly peeling paint. It is a largish house with over a dozen windows and exterior walls also needing painting. Whittick took it all in their stride. They arrived mid June as promised, worked very solidly and completed it in around 2 weeks. The painters arrived regularly every morning, were helpful and very organised and we could happily leave the house in their hands when we needed to go out. I have used a number of firms over the years and this was definitely the most professional and pleasant to work with, I will certainly use this firm again and would highly recommend them.

Ali was one of three companies who quoted for the redecoration of the hallway, banisters, landings and a high stairwell over 3 floors. His quote was in the middle of the 3, but I liked his/ attitude from the moment he arrived. Spotted important details which needed attention, and knew how to address them. Also clearly wanted to get a great finish so quoted for a few small extras which made the job sparkle. He and his colleague worked long days, fast work but excellent quality, and he obviously takes pride in his work. We will be going back to him for the next job for sure.

When he came to assess the job he was helpful, answered all our concerns, and provided guidance and suggestions that helped us to make decisions on the wood and what was required. Richard is an approachable professional wood fitter, responsive to your needs, consulted our likes before starting to lay down the floor, was caring, very tidy, did not have hesitation answering all our concerns, had a problem solving attitude and worked at very high standards. He was very helpful, finished all the tasks at high standard (engineered wood fitting, skirting boards, doors trimming, thresh hold bars) and went the extra mile! We’ve had Ali and his team to do two jobs at our place. First job was to redecorate the whole flat, refurbish the bathroom, construct some built-in storage, install a kitchen splash-back and repair a kitchen cupboard. Second job was to replace guttering and fascia, clean the roof tiles and paint the porch roof. We were very happy with Ali’s approach all the way through from getting a quote to the finished product. He gave us helpful advice and suggestions during the planning stage and this definitely improved the final outcome, as he suggested products that we weren’t aware of but instantly liked once we saw them. He worked within our timeframe which was pretty tight - we have small children so we went away for 2 weeks and Ali and his team worked night and day to get the work done while we were away. He did a really great job on all of the work with very nice finishes. We were doing a partial refurb of the bathroom and he worked within the constraints of the existing furniture and tiling etc and made it look like a brand new bathroom. The shelving for the built-in storage was done so nicely and turned an awkward space into useful storage. There were lots of different components of the job and they were all done to a high standard. We felt that the price was good and we found Ali really friendly and trustworthy to deal with. We would definitely recommend him and his team and would book them again for future work.

We employed Ali's company to upgrade our old kitchen, which involved refitting 20-year-old plus units with more accessibile storage, like pull-out drawers, etc (and finding the right storage for each unit!), painting the old oak woodwork, new floor, re-decorating doors and windows to garden as well as redecorating and re-flooring a utility room. The kitchen storage re-fit in particular required a lot of advance consultation, measuring and planning and ideas sharing, as well as consultation with the supplier - all of which Ali carried out competently and creatively. The estimate was realistic and in my opinion good value for the work required which involved two people over one week - Ali himself and his mate Richard. The work started on the date agreed and was carried out with great skill and attention to detail by both, down to replacing all the old hinges on the cabinet doors. The final result looks like a brand new kitchen (and visitors do think so!). Extra bonuses: place was left tidy at the end of each day, and cleaned on completion, work finished on (estimated) time and to budget and great people to have around to boot. The admin side can be slow at times, but overall definitely worth waiting for.

Very pleased with my lovely new bathroom in a space which previously had no water so vital plumbing required. Completed work looks really good and I also have a utility area. Work done on time and to budget. Ali very obliging in returning to put up some fittings which arrived late. Have used the company before and will do so again.

Ali repaired and revitalised our front porch, painted the front door, fitted new door furniture and laid a new step of quarry tiles. He also laid a path in our back garden. The work was carried out to an excellent standard and we were very pleased. Ali obviously takes pride in doing a good job and it showed in the trouble he took with small details. He ensured that all was clean and tidy after he'd finished. Ali was very helpful and obliging throughout the job eg advising about other work we were doing and lending us bits and pieces to help out. The work was done to the agreed price and in good time. We've just sold our house and I think Ali's work helped make a good impression on buyers.

I needed to change a bathroom into a safe walk-in shower after a Parkinson's fall. I sent out a number of emails to try and get someone to do the work - the one person who came back promptly, gave me a rough estimate, visited, sent a new estimate and possible dates was Ali Wittick from Wittick Building Ltd. He was easy to talk to and we discussed various possibilities. He and his team came on the day specified, took out the bath (difficult - heavy cast iron) and restructured the room into a walk-in shower over the next couple of weeks. All of this was done to a high standard and with great politeness and he finished on time on the day specified. I have to compliment him on cleaning up as much as possible with the inevitable dust and rubble created during the work. I can highly recommend him from my experience of the work done.

Ali has helped me with a handful of small jobs at home including a damp wall repair, leaking waste pipe fix and plastering. He encouraged me to undertake as much of the work myself as I was comfortable with by giving sound advice before helpfully undertaking the more onerous aspects himself. Incredibly friendly and always available for advice. Highly recommended.

Ali and his guys appeared daily on time, worked hard, were a pleasure to have around, and cleared up after themselves. They repaired and repainted my wooden conservatory beautifully and also painted the exterior paintwork to the rear of my house. The conservatory roof successfully survived the leak test, and final snagging was completed as soon as I obtained the materials. Highly recommended. Ali and his team did a great job bringing my old rickety balcony back to life in time for the summer. They sanded it down, gave it several coats of paint and varnish, secured it properly to the wall with bracing and replaced the balustrade. It looks fantastic. The team kept me informed about progress throughout the refurbishment and they were very tidy. I'd recommend Wittick Building Ltd to anyone.

Ali and his team refurbished out kitchen recently. It was a complete fitting with the removal of the old kitchen and installation of new appliances He is utterly reliable and a man of his word. Everything happened as promised and on time. He was also great to work with.

Ali, Metin and Maria renovated our bathroom and we were delighted with their work throughout. Estimate provided and adhered to; tidy, meticulous, reliable and great with the kids (and dog). All snags dealt with and excellent communications throughout.

Ali’s colleague Emitin worked on making repairs to our leaky bathroom. Some of the items I purchased did not fit, Ali and Emitin were gracious about this. Working to resolve the issues this caused a base was built for the new shower unit. Emitin worked effectively with the sparky to ensure completion of electrical works. When we realised we had misunderstood arrival arrangements for the last day of work Ali was understanding about this. Emitin was responsive to snagging requests from us. They left the site tidy after the work, even returning to remove some items we were unable to dispose of. Added to this, we think they even took our Christmas tree which is significantly better service than the rest of the street received from Barnet Council! I would add that we are returning satisfied customers, having been happy with previous work completed.

Ali and his team carried out a refurbishment of our kitchen, including the installation of new units, built-in oven, hob & sink unit and provision of new false ceiling, wall finishes & vinyl flooring. The work was carried out in the professional and workman-like manner we have come to expect from Ali; having used him on smaller decoration projects in the past. He brings an attention to detail and innovative approach to any project, be it large or small, and always makes sure that clients are kept informed of progress or any issues & that areas are cleaned to a high standard at the end of each day. Because of the increased electrical load of the new equipment, the project required the installation of a new distribution board, but with his contacts with electricians, plumbers & gas fitters, Ali can provide a complete package and had no problem in including this in the overall works. We would have no hesitation in recommending him for any similar work and will use him again for both small & large building projects.

His work is of the highest standards and most importantly you can trust him. He did everything we asked. He always leaves the place he is working at clean and tidy. We gave him a set of keys to decorate our bedroom while we were on holiday. We came home to a beautiful clean redecorated bedroom with everything in correct places. Thank you so much.

We had the front of our house re-rendered and painted plus a few extra minor works. From day one Greg was very easy to talk to and answered every question we had about the process. The work was done to a very high standard and for exactly the price we were quoted. We have recommended Wittick to both our neighbours who were also very impressed with the work they had done.
