We lost power after the RCD tripped and couldn't reset. We do not have a preferred electrician to call on so tried WKD from the Which Traders list. Kiernan & his colleague were with us within 3 hours and had us up and running within 20 minutes. A return visit was required due to the faulty RCD which led to investigations of the kitchen circuit and resolution of the issue. The electricians were polite, well informed and happy to answer any questions. In these situations when you have to call out an emergency service it can be a lottery but really happy with WKD. Great service and reasonable cost for the work carried out. Thank you.

I called regarding a problem with my immersion heater where the top element wasn’t working. I was informed that he could deal with the problem if it was electrical but if the element needed replacing then the tank would need to be drained and that would require a plumber. I asked if he could take a look anyway and he came within the hour. The problem was sorted quickly and without needing a plumber. I used WKD for the first time a few years ago when the lights in my house wouldn’t come on and they were excellent, arriving promptly and getting things working again. I would recommend this company.

Kiernan took out over 30 halogens and their transformers and replaced them with LEDs. Despite some problems with the existing cabling, and having to fetch different bulbs when the wrong ones were delivered, he finished the work in good time and kept to the - very reasonable - price he'd quoted me. He was friendly and helpful, and made sure to explain everything he was doing. I'd have absolutely no hesitation in recommending him.

Kiernan, Vince & Reza did an amazing job - rewiring the house whilst we are living here, with minimal disruption to our routine. Their approach was very intelligent, helpful and unobtrusive - and they always looked for routes for their cables that minimised disruption and mess. A couple of other quotes we had basically said we had to move out for a couple of weeks to make their lives easier!

Kieran responded immediately to my message and offered to do the job very soon after, attending with his colleague Rezard. They did all of the jobs to an excellent, professional standard - fitting new ceiling lights, fixing broken connections, and fitting a sensor light outside front door. Kieran even went to Wickes with me when I had chosen the wrong light, and he could not have been more helpful. Other positives were very fair pricing and the team tidying up after themselves. I will definitely be using WKD again, and will recommend them to friends.

Phoned Kiernan Tuesday afternoon - he came next day lunchtime, swiftly diagnosed the problem (ancient light fittings) - went off to buy new ones, came back and fitted them swiftly and carefully so no damage to ceiling paint. Excellent job, so helpful, very nice and we will never go elsewhere. We were delighted and a pleasure to have him in the house.
