After changing my broadband provider I couldn't get the security camera linked to the new wi-fi. I called Woodside and the office was really helpful and efficient, checked what equipment I had, confirmed it needed a home visit, and booked an engineer to come out a couple of days later (I had said it wasn't urgent so was pleased to get a quick appointment). Giordano arrived exactly on time, and worked out the best way to re-connect it. He then checked the app I was using to view the footage, and showed me the newer version now available, talking me through all the new features. He was an excellent problem-solver, with a very proactive and helpful manner. It's a great company all round, reliable and pleasant to deal with.

I called to report a battery problem on our alarm this morning . At 1pm the engineer arrived , replaced the battery serviced the alarm quickly and efficiently . I could not have asked for a better service . Many thanks .

Daniel of Woodside Securities came to do the annual maintenance service. He thoroughly checked the system and replaced the sensor batteries. Daniel is charming and all was carried in a very professional manner. I can highly recommend this company.

Everything about working with Woodside seemed to work and was easy. Booking the initial appointment was easy. The survey was straightforward; Stefano was knowledgeable, understood what we wanted (and didn't want) and asked all our questions clearly. Then we got a detailed quote; there were lots of options so a quick call was required. The installation took a day and the engineer was respectful in his attitude and did a great job. There were one or two challenges that we worked together to resolve. In a world where many things seem like hard work this just didn't. Would be happy to recommend.

I wish everything was so straightforward! David came on time, investigated and identified why the speech part of our apartment block's entry system was not working. Fitted a new speaker and tested that buzzer + speech in both directions was working correctly with apartments where someone was at home. David was polite, professional and got the job done. He accepted a cheque in settlement of the bill which was as outlined in arranging the call out. The office duly forwarded a receipted invoice by email for our records.

Woodside came to quote for an alarm system on my house and from the outset were pleasant, knowledgeable and easy to deal with. After a delay due to other work, I was in further contact to discuss a few small elements, then they came to fit the quoted work. David was excellent on the day, talked me through everything and set up the alarm. I would recommend Woodside to anyone, they really impressed me with the quality of work and great price. They did not try and push more expensive systems, which I found with the national companies, but listened to my needs and advised accordingly.

We have just had our alarm serviced by Dan from Woodside Security and he did a great job! I asked lots of questions and had some additional issues due to adding people to our system and changing our internet service provider. We have had a new CCTV system and replacement alarm system fitted. Came round very quickly to do the quotes and discussed with us, in details what we wanted. Did not try and sell us anything that was not what we wanted. Good support for questions on the quote when I called the office. Work was completed on time and using friendly, polite and efficient engineers. Took care to hide the CCTV wiring as much as possible, looks very neat. Took time out to make sure we knew how to operate everything.

After nearly 30 years, with a well-known large company, we noticed that their service had deteriorated following being taken over by the even larger one. We found Woodside Security Systems on Which Trader and were impressed by the unanimously favourable reviews. We can understand why. The whole process of inspection and switch over was efficiently and knowledgeably conducted and, unlike our previous company, the office phone is all answered almost immediately by friendly and helpful staff. Although it is early days, we have been extremely impressed by this small family owned and run company.

I moved to Woodside Alarms last year after 20 years of being with one of the most famous, large alarm companies. My only regret is that I didn't do it sooner. They are friendly, flexible, reliable and incredibly good value. The previous company relied on their name but were infuriating to deal with. I always got the impression my business wasn't very important to them and yet they charged a huge amount for a sporadic annual service (which wasn't very thorough). Woodside has the personal touch from the people who answer the phone to the guys who turn up to do the job. They fitted us with a new alarm system last year and spent a proper amount of time ensuring we were familiar and happy with it. They've just been for the annual service and it was one of the guys who fitted it last year (thanks Liam). He remembered the job, our set up, our requirements etc. He was helpful, charming and even lovely to our over enthusiastic dog. Highly recommend.

We have been with Woodside for over ten years and never had any issues. Recently our alarm has gone off by itself for no reason. Woodside sent someone out on the same day who replaced all batteries and tested the system. When it went off again, they sent someone out within four hours, replaced the unit and batteries and were slick, swift, polite and knowledgeable. Great customer service!

From the initial survey a few weeks ago to final installation, all the staff at Woodside have been unfailingly courteous, pleasant and efficient. The follow-up from the office staff (final paperwork, certificates etc) has been impressively prompt and thorough. Woodside fitted our alarm a few years ago and have serviced it annually. Last week, as well as carrying out the service, their engineer fitted cat filters, added an extra fob and helped us with the App that allows us remote access to the alarm controls. All done with extreme courtesy and a pro-active approach, volunteering a few features we hadn't thought of. Everything you could hope for from a service provider and more.

Woodside installed a new door entry system last year. It was necessary to use the wiring from the old system (installed years ago and not by Woodside), to avoid significant disruptive building work. A problem arose in July this year, and Woodside came round quickly. The problem related to the pre-existing wiring. Rob from Woodside was able to devise a solution and our system is working again. I am very happy with the service provided.

Woodside security fitted my alarm in 2011 and have always been very professional and quick to respond to any issues. Our CCTV was installed last year. Fortunately have not needed to check it other than to confirm it worked. We were visited by the Police a few days ago to see if they could view the footage at front of the property from a couple of dates in last few months. They were not only delighted we were willing to allow this but also delighted by the clarity and quality of what they were able to download. We live in a potentially high crime area and it is a comfort to know, that we have a very good system that Woodside Security installed.

A seamless operation from initial contact to installation, despite me changing the installation date twice to accommodate my works programme. The works involved the upgrading of an existing 7 zone audible intruder alarm system which included access to an app. Works were completed to the agreed schedule and estimate. Communication was clear, the installation was carried out to a high standard with attention to detail.

We have quite an old alarm system that needed a problem sorted out as it had been making strange noises. Woodside Security was recommended by my electrician. The office service was very efficient and friendly and the engineer who came sorted out the problem, serviced the system very efficiently and satisfactorily and at a very reasonable cost. Woodside Security was recommended by a friend & once I got in contact to the job getting done they were excellent. Rita emailed me over pictures of the different types of keypads & a full itemised quotation was emailed after an Engineer had visited. All items that were quoted for are to a very high specification especially the self activating bell which is well lit up & visible. David carried out the installation & done a fantastic job. Once completed he went through the operation process including app download which is very useful but not compulsory for the system to rely upon. The staff are very polite & knowing you can rely on Woodside for security gives that extra piece of mind. Would highly recommend, you will not be disappointed.

We are very pleased with the service provided by Woodside. It took a little time to arrange the initial survey and quote, which probably reflects a full order book. The specification offered was sensible and pragmatic, with nothing that was superfluous. The installation itself was carried out proficiently and the engineer was friendly. He also ensured that we were fully appraised of how the system works before leaving. The ongoing maintenance charges seem to be reasonable and lower than those of some competitors.

Woodside took care to advise on options for my alarm. We were able to use the existing wiring which was the right solution for my rented flat. On fitting the alarm there was a faulty wire discovered from the old system. The problem was fixed. The office back up was excellent and all queries answered by informed and polite staff. The system appears to be good value for money.

Have an old BPT video gate /door entry system that lost voice and switching capability from one gate to the other and to the front door . Rob "track and traced " the fault to a faulty wire and repaired it back to working condition and saved me the need to replace with new kit. I was very impressed with his dedication to finding the fault and not just saying you need to replace it all. highly recommend this company.

We are a small estate in North London and Woodside initially fitted an entry phone system for us and later a CCTV system. From their first visit to give us an estimate, through to the work being completed we have been very happy. The engineers are friendly, competent and very good at communicating what's going on and discussing any issues as they arrive, and spending time to explain the new systems they are installing. We were very impressed and are arranging ongoing service contracts with them. We would highly recommend them.

We had CCTV cameras installed last year by Woodside security, they went the extra mile in getting it installed prior to Christmas closure. This year we wanted an additional CCTV camera. As previous they were all very helpful and recently carried out our additional CCTV camera installation. All who we have dealt with from office to installation staff are extremely polite, professional, knowledgeable and helpful. I had called for telephone assistance early this year when we were trying to re connect the cctv hard drive after some decoration works. Woodside easily directed me to which cables to re attach and we were back up and running within minutes. We will continue to use Woodside security and will not hesitate to recommend to others. They are a company you can rely on and their pricing is good too. Highly recommend.

We were really impressed by how quickly the engineer identified and fixed the problem. He also pointed out the previous sensors had been installed upside down! When your engineer Jordano came out to install the new alarm he discovered the fault with my existing one - all it required was a tap. This is the second job that Woodside Security have done for us. They put in place our home security system and we were very please with their work and service so when we were embarking on a commercial fitout we approached them to carry out the work. They fitted our alarm and entry system as well as CCTV and everything is perfect. They are always a pleasure to work with and very helpful.

We had our old home alarm system updated, including new wireless parts in some areas, which meant not having to completely rip out the old system. Very thorough work by very helpful Dave. We are very glad to have changed to this smaller company. They are prompt, clear and efficient. The women in the office and on the phone also most helpful. Competitively priced. It is useful to have tags to turn on and off the alarm on entering and leaving, instead of using the keypad. A portable panic alarm is also an excellent idea for someone at home alone. We also now have the app to set and unset the alarm if necessary. I have no hesitation in recommending this company.

Woodside Security Systems Ltd recently installed two security systems at my house - an alarm and CCTV. The two installers arrived on time, were very professional and tidy, and cleared away the minor mess and all rubbish. A slight glitch over setting up an older version of the app was rectified quickly by the very helpful office staff. The work was completed as promised and within budget. The office staff were very helpful setting up a second user days after the installation. So far, i'm impressed by the ease of use of the products and the service provided.

Having used Woodside Security Systems for many years for my burglar alarm, I have recently asked them to help with a video entry system. Once again I found them to be knowledgeable,efficient and trustworthy.

I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Woodside Security. From first contact over the phone to today's installation everyone has been helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. I am very pleased with my new intruder alert system and am delighted to say that the lesson in how to set and disarm the alarm was highly effective in that I have already managed to go out and come back without setting the alarm off! No mean feat given my history with technology although it is a very simple system to use, thankfully. I can't believe how quickly the 5 zone audible only wireless intruder alarm system was installed or how reasonably priced it is. Impressive service indeed.

After getting quotes from various alarm/security companies, i decided to go with Woodside to take out an old alarm and fit a new system. From the start, their customer service from their customer service team was excellent: quick, efficient, helpful, informative. I then had a visit from one of their team to assess the job and provide me with a quotation and today, having chosen to go with them, Rob the engineer came and fitted the alarm and took the old one out. He was excellent - he arrived on time, explained what he was going to do, talked to me about one or two different options, and then got on with the job quietly and efficiently. He explained the system and answered all our questions. Woodside hadn't spotted when they first came out that our smoke alarms are part of the alarm system, and I didn’t know that either, so Rob didn’t have the necessary parts to replace those, but he agreed to come out without further labour charge to fit new smoke alarms. All in all, excellent customer service so far and I’m very happy with what they’ve done. This firm fitted the first burglar alarm system in our semi-detached house. The work was carried out in a friendly and highly-efficient way, at the time and for the cost agreed in advance. Their office staff were also very helpful and friendly. This is a long-standing family firm, situated in the area, that is clearly proud of its good reputation and is keen to maintain it. They would certainly be my first choice if I was having similar work done again in this part of north London. Highly recommended.

Woodside Security Systems installed our house alarm several years ago and they monitor it. We have been very happy with that arrangement so we asked them to quote for the installation of external camera surveillance. They took us through the various options so that we were able to decide what we wanted. The quote was competitive and thorough. The installation went better than we had hoped. Cabling was ingeniously concealed from view and every effort was made to ensure the best overall camera coverage. There was no drama, no mess and no hassle and they went out of their way to check exactly what we wanted as regards cable runs etc. They are a local business and they took great care. They are very decent people. We enjoyed their company and we feel very comfortable that we have entrusted our house security to them.

Woodside SS installed a video entryphone and front door lock release system in our small block of four flats. From from initial contact, through surveying, estimating and installing all of their staff were excellent. The job was neatly done minimising new cable runs in the common areas by using the old cabling for the audio entry system wherever possible. Through no fault of theirs, the new Entryphone equipment had a glitch, which required follow-up visits to rectify. This was all done at with minimum fuss at times convenient to us, not perhaps them. All of us in the building are delighted with the new system.
