I needed a 13 amp power supply installed in an airing cupboard in advance of a power shower being fitted in the adjacent bathroom. At the time of quoting, Chris (who has done PAT tests for me at the property previously) recommended that my consumer unit (fusebox) was upgraded. As I was travelling on the day of the works, my neighbour gave him a key and he posted it through the letterbox when he left. Work completed was: supplying and fitting a 6 way CU with RCBOs and surge protection; supplying and fitting cable, socket, trunking and sundries to the new circuit; supplying and fitting a Henley block and new tails kit. The work was completed neatly.

Good information provided at outset regarding work needed. Work carried out to schedule and cost. Recommended.

We have used Chris a few times for electrical jobs. Recently he fitted some new lights for us, internal and external. In the past he has replaced all our switches and fitted downlighting. Chris is very straightforward to work with. He explains the job clearly and will be honest about any limitations. He is prompt, tidy and a gets the job done without any fuss. I would recommend Chris every time. I trust him and his work.

Chris has done several jobs for me, the latest being an EICR. A sensible, fair and practical approach to jobs. An unexpected problem was quickly sorted out. Reliable, trustworthy and efficient.

We contacted Chris at Yeloshield, to fix a plug socket which was not operational. Not a major project but we are in the throes of decorating a spare bedroom and wanted the work undertaken with some speed as new carpets will shortly be laid which would then prevent easy access to cabling under the floor boards. Chris identified that we had faulty cabling through this particular spur. To resolve, he connected the socket to an alternative cabling ring. All done with professionalism and methodical working. We felt completely comfortable with his knowledge and work skills. We have more work for Chris to do this Summer, which will provide electricity to our garden shed approx. 120 feet away from the current power source. Chris has helpfully discussed a solution for progressing this project, confirming the cabling size that should be used and the best path to the end of the garden here.

This is the first time I have used Chris, we needed an urgent electrical inspection completing and Chris carried this out quickly and efficiently, he located an unforeseen fault which he rectified speedily. The works were competitively priced and Chris was very courteous and professional to deal with. I would have no hesitation in using Chris again.

We had under-unit lighting in the kitchen that wasn't working and needed replacing and updating; new bathroom lighting; a new pendant in a bedroom and power-testing and replacement of three outside lights. We had a quote and needed the work doing promptly. Communication was good and it took one afternoon and one morning to complete. The work was done on schedule and budget. The trader is lovely, very personable and an experienced and safe pair of hands. Excellent service. Would recommend and use again.

I think all the other reviews say it all. Chris is top notch. He came at short notice after we had someone round from another firm who clearly didn't know what they were doing. They had many more positive reviews, but we should have checked the negative ones! We had a trip fault on our kitchen sockets 2 days before Christmas. First guy was an hour and a half late and faffed around for another two. Left saying that we had a fault that needed further tests. Chris found the fault and fixed it in no time at all. What we liked most is that does exactly what he says he will do. Just like the other reviews say, prompt, polite, professional, methodical and thorough. All the things that every trade people should be! Highly recommended.

Chris has recently rewired the electrics of our outbuilding. Chris is polite, prompt and good value for money. Would definitely recommend and use again.

Chris installed a kitchen worktop, sink, hob and oven after we’d been badly let down by a previous contractor. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable throughout the entire process and put everything right. Happy to recommend Chris and will definitely use his services again.
