Yeovil Electrics Limited

We used Yeovil Electrics today (15th July 2026) to complete two electrical jobs at our home, and we couldn’t be happier with the service. The first job was in our kitchen, where we originally had eight lights split across two separate switches (four on each). One of the lights was consistently blowing the bulb, so we decided it was time to renew all of them and alter the wiring so that all eight lights could be operated from a switch at either end of the kitchen. The second job was to install a new outside power point. The work was undertaken incredibly efficiently. Even when an unexpected problem arose with the existing setup, it was overcome and dealt with quickly and professionally without any fuss. Ben, the Electrician, was absolutely brilliant. He was incredibly friendly, took the time to explain everything clearly, and gave us some excellent advice. We are more than happy to recommend Yeovil Electrics to anyone looking for a reliable team. Should we need an electrician again in the future, we certainly know exactly where to come!

Ben turned up on time, the first impression is very good, a clean van, which I think says a lot about the standard of work. He had to change the front plates on some sockets and switches, carried out with no trouble, all neat and tidy. Next job was to install a double socket, which was carried out very quickly with no mess. The third job was to change 3 security lights with PIR’s fitted again very organised and the job was carried out perfectly. The last job was to fit 2 tube lights in the out shed. Once again was well organised and tidy. I would definitely use this company again and I highly recommend them for all your electrical needs. They supplied a quotation, which was very attractive, and he invoiced me which was in line with his quotation Top class operator.

Ben was great from start to finish. He was pro-active in helping us make decisions, patient when we changed things and completely reliable. Very happy to recommend Yeovil Electrics!

Ben has done several jobs over the last few years. This was the last one so far and as always he was on time, efficient and did a very good job. In the past he has replaced outside lights, under cupboard lights, fitted new sockets, ceiling lights and new smoke alarms etc. This last job was to replace 6 ft twin battens with LED equivalent. Each time the price has been good and he does the job at the agreed estimate. He is also on hand for advice which is always a good thing. Once one of my under cupboard lights wasn't working properly so he sorted it out very quickly.

Ben has been doing various jobs for us over the last five years. He is honest, reliable and gives good advice. He discusses what needs doing and provides clear charges which are always reasonable. He always does a good job and we never have to call him back because of a problem. He always arrives on time and gets on with the job. He is a very personable young man who tidy’s up when he has finished. I have given his details to many of my neighbours who are also very pleased with his work.

Ben and his team are excellent at what they do, quick and thorough workers, knowledgeable and very tidy too. Mum and i are having several big electrical jobs done on our house and we trust Yeovil Electrics completely. They are friendly, polite and easy to have around. Great all round service, we highly recommend them.
