Yorvik Windscreens are a York based automotive glazing company covering all areas of York, Leeds, Wetherby, Harrogate, Thirsk, Ripon, Malton, Pickering, Scarborough, Bridlington, Driffield, Selby, and all surrounding areas.
Our professional team with over 20 years service, will ensure that our work provides immediate service at competitive prices to get you back on the road as soon as possible. We are a fully mobile service meaning you never have to wait around at a depot while your car gets repaired, we come to you at a time and place of your convenience.
If you are fully comprehensive insured we are linked in with most of the top insurance companies enabling us to keep the cost down for you, if you don't have cover we can also give you a competitive quote.
We also specialise in all makes and models of classic cars, whether its a full glass removal for restoration or just re sealing leaking windows. We can also offer our glass polishing service which can remove marks and scratches from the glass.

I called Yorvik after windscreen crack rendered my car illegal to drive. In a very busy month they agreed to do the job the next day at 0730. By 0900 the job was completed. Fantastic service by a friendly team.

Emailed for a quotation and received a prompt reply within the hour. Contacted again when my diary was less hectic and the two guys came the following lunchtime - just the time it takes to order the new windscreen. The windscreen looks fine and well fitted. The guys were friendly, helpful, and polite. Paperwork was kept to a minimum, offering to sort out the insurance claim on my behalf after I had paid them the excess. The price seemed reasonable compared to other quotes.

Ben and Stuart did a professional job removing and replacing the front and rear windows on the Humber inserting new rubber seals. They were prompt and stuck to their quote. I was impressed with the care they took over my car and it was great to have the work done at my house rather than having to deliver and collect the car.

The window seal had broken and was allowing water to leak into car so the window was taken out and the seal replaced and window returned.

Treat myself recently to a 06 Cooper S Convertible with a couple of chips in the windscreen. I visited a National Autoglass company where they told me I would have to go via national line and off the cuff quoted over £120 . I rang Yorvik Windscreens how refreshing to have a polite response from Ben who rang me back at agreed time. I visited and got a quote, I queried a new windscreen and Ben quickly did some checks and gave me a fantastic quote it was a no brainer new windscreen and no worries at the next MOT. Arranged to be fitted 8am on a Wednesday Ben arrived promptly and undertook the work efficiently at the price agreed and even sourced me a a pillar trim and cleaned all the areas. All fitted before 9am. The car is rejuvenated can’t believe the difference. Clearly Yorvil are experienced professional on Autoglass , I have already recommended to others.

I found Yorvik Windscreens work to be very professional. The work was carried out to a very high standard. I needed 2 side windows fitting to a Renault Trafic van. When I arranged the job by phone, I was given the details of the procedure of how they would cut out the side panels and more importantly how they would rust proof the remaining bare metal edges. It took no more than 3 days for the glass to arrive and be fitted. They arrived on time and did the work exactly as they described, cleaning any debris away as they worked. I was very impressed. Having worked in the motor trade for 42 years, it was easy see that Stuart and Ben produce top quality work. Thanks. Michael Morris York

I can not recommend Jorvic Windscreens enough!! Extremely professional, prompt and a pleasure to deal with. After being let down by a large company, these guys went above and beyond. They also refit my dash cam which the other company refused to do. They came to my house and refit the whole windscreen within an hour. 3D camera in my windscreen and auto wipers work perfectly. My car had been off the road, under cover due to a leaking windscreen above the driver's side, for 2 weeks. Contacted many windscreen repairers via email & answerphone & not one company got back to me. We put a ' can anyone recommend a local windscreen repairer? ' online. Yorvic Windscreens LTD was recommended straight away. Rang them on Tuesday 13.12.22. They arranged to come out, first call, the following day. They showed me what the problem was. There was no sealant from the top 5-6 inches to all the way down that same driver's side. No wonder I'd had a problem with it! Anyway. They fixed it, pronto. The two gentlemen were extremely professional and polite. I can't thank them enough for attending to the problem so quickly. I can now drive my car again.
