We moved into our flat almost exactly one year ago and had a plumbing problem from day one. All of our hot taps ran incredibly slowly. The fall from the hot water cylinder to the basins was completely inadequate. We called in YourPlumber to quote for the installation of a pressurised hot water system. The survey and quotation was carried out promptly and the installation date was (re)arranged to suit us and our recovery from Covid. Drew, our plumber, was exemplary. He worked cheerfully over a long day to strip out the 50-year-old plumbing we had inherited and give us a fresh, new, clean replacement. Because he had had to disconnect and reconnect our washing machine in the course of his work he stayed to do a quick test rinse to ensure that everything was back where it should be and overall he left the kitchen cleaner than it was when he arrived! Our only problem now is remembering that we don't need to leave hot taps running for five minutes to get hot water. We had got used to doing odd jobs while we waited! Since we moved to Bournemouth 11 years ago we had 'acquired' an electrician and a painter but up until now we haven't had a plumber, but now we have! Well done Drew and YourPlumber!

James came to fix my scaled up combi boiler. He was very polite and professional. He explained everything he was going to do and showed me the scaled-up part he removed. Whilst doing the job, he found the boiler had leaked previously and two other parts needed replacement. It was very obvious to see the parts that needed replacing. Also, the flue had been fitted incorrectly and was leaking fumes into the boiler, (Not into the home) He tested for fumes and left a notice that the boiler was dangerous and used at my own risk. The second visit to fix the other problems was arranged very quickly. I asked for James on the second visit and this was accommodated. I found the labour costs very reasonable but the parts are quite a bit more expensive than I could source the same. However, the service and speed of getting an appointment make up for the expensive parts. I would definitely use them again.

Tiffany of Your Plumber did an excellent repair job. On time, courteous, efficient and effective repair, clearly explaining the work done. In addition to fixing the hotwater tap, Tiffany also replaced the leverage on the cold water tap so that both taps now have matching action for turning on and off. I would highly recommend her and the Your Plumber company to others seeking a quick and reasonably costed plumbing repair that was on budget to quote given.

Same day response to an emergency call out, made sure that the area was made safe and then quote given for remedial work. Engineer schedules were rearranged to accommodate early arrival of ordered spares and all the work was completed within 24 hours. All staff were professional, respectful of property, excellent at communication and the quote was spot on with no hidden extras. The engineers also checked later that evening that everything was functioning properly. I would not hesitate to recommend YourPLumber Bournemouth as they could certainly teach other Companies how to give proper Customer Service.

Boiler check, filter clean & radiators checked

I had a combo boiler service done on my Glo worm boiler. I also agreed to have the filter cleaned if it needed it and to check my radiators were working properly. When I booked I hadn’t realised that checking the radiators would cost me £39.50 with VAT. It is when I got the Invoice that it was listed separately to the bill. It was £32.92 then VAT had to go on top at £39.50. The plumber that checked the boiler went around the bungalow very quickly to check the radiators certainly NOT worth the amount I have paid. I also told the plumber some confidential information which has now appeared in black & white on the bill for all to see. I rang up the company on getting the bill to be faced with an aggressive mannered man. I was not happy with the bill but I have paid it in FULL. So be clear before you book how much you are going to be charged for their service. I feel I have overpaid for this service and will not be using them again.

Barbara booked a boiler service and asked if we could repair some faulty radiators during the same visit. We explained that a standard boiler service doesn’t cover repairing radiators, but we could extend the appointment to allow extra time to do it in the same visit. We explained that there would be an additional charge of £39.50 incl. VAT and Barbara confirmed that she was happy with this and asked us to confirm the booking. We've provided the call recording to Barbara to confirm this conversation. We also sent a booking confirmation by email which itemised the charges in writing before we attended. After servicing the boiler we repaired two faulty radiators that weren’t heating up, without needing to replace any parts, and checked over the whole system for the customer to ensure it all worked correctly. We are satisfied that we provided the service we quoted for. As a team we work very hard to provide the excellent service that has earned us such a good rating and so many five star reviews. We always welcome customer feedback so that we can continually improve our service.
