ZEN Windows & Conservatories

A friend highly recommended Zen, and we’re extremely pleased we chose them to install our new windows and doors. From start to finish, the process was great. During the installation, we raised a couple of concerns because a few things didn’t look quite as we expected, but after discussing them with the installers, the changes were made promptly and everything still finished on time. Big shout-out to Matt in the office and our installers, Steve and Jamie - you guys were great!

Had new french doors fitted. The communication was excellent from the outset, and the work completed was to a very high standard. The fitters were also very clean, and left no mess behind at all. A great service overall, and would recommend.

Zen replaced all my windows with new PVC ones. It was a good experience from initial contact through to the quote and actual work. I changed my mind on a couple of things and it was all fine. Information was clear and Zen were flexible and good at communication throughout. Work was done considerately and on time. I’m very happy with the new windows!

Zen Windows & Conservatories replaced a wooden-framed conservatory, sash bay windows and front door. The entire experience, from start to finish, was exemplary, from Ben visiting the house to explain Zen's products and process and provide a quote, right through to the installation team. Our conservatory is a non-standard shape, and I gather it was quite a challenge to fit. However, Andy & Archie did a beautiful job of installing the new one, going above & beyond to ensure everything was done properly, finishing it off to a very high standard. We had a Warmer Roof installation, which is already significantly better than the old plastic roof. The plasterer & electrician were also both great. Everyone involved was respectful of our home and left it tidy each day throughout the works. The finished conservatory looks amazing and more like an extension. We could not be more pleased with it. We also had replacement sash bay windows. Again, this wasn't a straightforward job, with not a single straight wall in the house. However, Andy & Archie did a lovely job. Finally, the front door was replaced with a stunning composite door. It all looks absolutely fantastic and is finished off beautifully, both internally and externally. We've had so many comments about how lovely the house looks! Overall, the project was a great experience, and I wholeheartedly recommend this company. They were so good that I've just had Ben back to quote for replacing our remaining sash windows!

Zen Windows replaced a window in our bathroom. From the first visit for a quotation to the final completion of the work everyone we dealt with was professional, helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Stacey, in the office called to keep us up to date with progress and called after completion to check that we were happy with the results. The quality of the window is excellent. This is the fourth time we have had work done by Zen and I would highly recommend them.

We used Zen Windows in Bristol to replace our old, broken wooden sash windows and had a brilliant experience from start to finish. Ben, the General Manager, was excellent – clear, helpful, and never pushy. He priced the job fairly and explained everything in a professional and approachable way, giving us total confidence in the service. Matt, who handled the scheduling, was also fantastic – always quick to respond, clear in his communication, and helpful throughout. The whole process felt smooth and well-managed. The fitters – Mitch, Dan, and Kieran – were outstanding. They were polite, friendly, tidy, and extremely skilled. The job involved fitting a large number of sash windows, many of them irregular and tricky to install, but the team worked with great care and precision. The finishing was just as impressive – from the bath stone patching to the interior carpentry, including window surrounds and architraves, everything was done to a very high standard. Their attention to detail and pride in their work really showed. We’re absolutely thrilled with the end result – the windows look fantastic and have transformed our home. Zen Windows were a pleasure to deal with at every stage, and we would highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality windows and outstanding service.

Zen had previously installed a conservatory for us, with good aftercare. This time, they installed six windows (including two bay windows), with acoustic glass. They were incredibly helpful in arranging an advanced date that fitted in with our complicated family arrangements and completed the work quickly. The guys were prompt, very helpful, hard working, tidy, and clean. They carefully discussed the work with me as they went along and were willing to make some adjustments to the way they were fitted. This resulted in me being delighted with the appearance of the windows, the way they were installed and their acoustic quality.

I had high hopes of Zen Window, an established and local family run business, having been recommended them by a friend. But they more than exceeded my expectations. The helpful, professional and personal service was exceptional from the first point of contact until the completion of the installation of 4 high spec quality windows in two rooms. The fitters were diligent throughout the two days it took to complete the job, and left the window surrounds in a spotless condition with no need for any reparation work. In addition they arranged the installation and, with no delays, the removal of the scaffolding. Massive thanks from a delighted customer!

This is the second time we have engaged Zen to undertake work for us, again they were very professional throughout the entire process. This time Zen replaced the house guttering, facia boards and soffits front and back and four rear windows, conservatory windows, doors and roof. The build was finished in good time and to the highest standards. Andy and Archie were on site for nearly four weeks and were unfailingly courteous, helpful and their workmanship was first class. We are really pleased with the results and highly recommend Zen Windows.

We asked Zen Windows to quote for replacement double glazed windows mainly due to the many good reviews we read here and our own experience reflected this. The quotation process was straightforward, the format of each window finely detailed and the contract clearly laid out. Our nitpicky queries were patiently dealt with. From the quotation visit to completion of the work, everyone arrived when they said they would, with regular updates on progress. We are very pleased with the quality of the installation and the windows themselves and the house was always left clean and tidy. Zen don’t have a showroom so we were very dependent on the information they provided verbally and online which isn’t something I would choose to do, I didn’t ask if there were any opportunities to view their work. My only concern related to making payment. Zen prefer payment by bank transfer and although payment can be made by credit card, payment of anything other than the deposit incurs a charge (clearly shown in the contact). I would prefer a more secure way to make the final payment

Zen fitted our windows in February 2021, they were great. Polite, professional and had great communication from start to finish. The price was very competitive for good quality. They arrived when they said they would and completed on time, leaving the place tidy when finished. But the real plus was in the support after the installation. We only had a small issue with one of the windows not opening. But when the manufacturer was going to make us wait for 5 weeks for the repair, Paul came quickly and was able to identify and sort the issue within 1 hour. I highly recommend Zen windows, they are very easy to work with and, as I have found, very reliable and trustworthy.

Paul did a fantastic job replacing the broken window. He replied promptly to the quote request and came out to look over what needed to be done prior to doing the work. The new window looks great and Paul took away all the waste material and left the area of work very clean.

Replaced all windows and a french door. Zen fitted in the job early to enable me to have other booked work carried out. Paul (owner) kept in regular communication and was always extremely polite and helpful. The fitters arrived on time and were friendly, very helpful and courteous. Nothing was too much trouble and they helped replace curtains, blinds etc. I would highly recommend Zen. They’re lovely to deal with.

I had 5 double glazed windows installed. Paul visited my house and did a quick survey for the quote. During the visit he answered all my questions and advised where necessary, at no stage did he try to "sell" anything, he just measured, advised and left, it was all done in about 30 minutes. His quote was roughly in line with 2 previous quotes I had received so the only decision I needed to make was which one? Paul won the contract for the following reasons: 1. As described in the first paragraph 2. Paul came across as a very personable person, easy to talk to, very polite and not all "pushy". All the work was done very efficiently and completed in two days. While he was in my home he was polite, quiet and just got on with the job in a very professional manner. The work was done to a very high standard and the work area was always cleaned up after each stage. I am very pleased with my new windows and as a result I have invited him back price up replacement French doors and a back door. I can happily recommend Zen windows and I feel confident you will be pleased with any work they do.

Excellent customer service from start to finish. I've never known such clean and tidy workman, really impressed with the finished product. Paul was very flexibly and managed to work a tight deadline. Would definitely recommend them and use them again.
