AJT Showers Ltd. has earned the title of Which? Trusted Trader of the Month for August 2025.

It’s the second time the mobility bathroom specialist has earned the accolade, following a previous win in September 2023, as well as a place on the shortlist for the overall 2024 Which? Trusted Trader of the Year award.

We spoke with brothers and directors Jordan and Aiden Talbot to understand the values that drive the company’s success.

A family enterprise with customer service at its heart

AJT Showers Ltd was founded by Simon Talbot and his two sons.

‘We started with two vans, a strong work ethic, and a shared mission to deliver safe, accessible, and stylish bathing solutions,’ said Jordan.

‘From day one, we wanted to build a business grounded in family values - one that prioritises customer care, trust, and exceptional service at every step.’

The company aims to put those values into practice daily. Jordan shared a recent story where a customer became anxious about the width of a newly installed pocket door frame. Without hesitation, the team stepped in.

‘Our installer calmly reassured her, returned the very next day, and rebuilt the entire wall and frame - without charging a penny more. His words were, “Don’t worry about anything - we’re here to look after you.”’

This principle - that the customer’s peace of mind comes first - is the standard the company holds itself to, transforming a stressful situation into a testament to their integrity.

A commitment to community

The team’s dedication extends beyond their clients’ homes and into the local community, as demonstrated by their recent sponsorship of a local sports club.

‘We’ve proudly sponsored the East Preston and Kingston Bowls Club, helping to strengthen community ties in a place that means so much to us, having both grown up in East Preston ourselves,’ says Jordan.

They also fundraise for Alzheimer’s Society, running a Christmas raffle every year.

Jordan also told us about competing in the London to Brighton Cycle in 2023 for the same charity.

‘It was a proud moment - one that brought the whole team together behind a meaningful cause.’

A future focused on partnership and trust

Since their last win in September 2023, the team at AJT Showers has celebrated the first anniversary of their showroom, grown the team, and expanded its product offerings. So what comes next?

‘Our goal is to expand our presence across the South East while continuing to deliver the personal touch our customers value,’ says Jordan.

‘A key focus is building strong partnerships with local healthcare services - we plan to create a welcoming environment within our showroom to host events where professionals can try our products first-hand.’
