We caught up with Dean Thurogood, customer services and aftercare specialist, to hear more about the company’s accolades – and how being a Which? Trusted Trader has helped give customers greater peace of mind when choosing a trader.

Five-time winners providing five-star service

Homeglaze Home Improvements was started by an associate of Colin Morgan in 2011, and Colin himself bought a half share of the company in 2013. With 15 years of experience in the industry under his belt, he noticed a ‘lack of transparency’ (pun intended) in other organisations. 

‘Double glazing a property is a major expense,’ Dean told us, and Colin’s vision for the company was to ‘reassure customers they would be benefitting from a premium level service and a fairer pricing structure.’

This isn’t the first time the company has been awarded Which? Trusted Trader of the Month, and it only takes a quick glance at its customer reviews to see why.

Giving back to the community

As well as providing customer satisfaction with its top-quality care and craftsmanship, Homeglaze Home Improvements goes above and beyond to get involved in charity work. 

‘The team takes a keen interest in helping vulnerable children and young adults wanting to achieve their sporting ambitions,’ Dean said. The company sponsors the local football team, the Chigwell Wolves, as well as local boxers at RJ’s Gym.

‘It is also our pleasure to support Treetops, a special needs school in Thurrock, via donations. The pupils are aged between 5-19 with moderate learning difficulties,’ Dean added.

We also know from Homeglaze Home Improvements’ application that the company is involved with bereavement support charities through a Coffee, Walk and Talk scheme, and are supporters of the vulnerable children’s charity Barnardo’s.

‘We are always evaluating who and how we can help on multiple levels,’ said Dean.
