A focus on customer service is how this month’s winning business aims to stand out from the crowd.
Access4Lofts Blackpool, which provides loft access and storage, won November’s title after showing how even the smallest touches make a big difference for customers.
One example highlighted by loft access specialist Josh Norgate, who runs the franchise, involved helping an elderly customer after someone else made a poor job of repairing a lock on her loft hatch.
Josh fixed the problem for free after discovering it was a simple issue. He told us: ‘It only took us half an hour so we couldn’t charge for that.
'Our focus is on customer service. We go above and beyond to do the little things just to help the customer.’

‘A privilege to be recognised’
Recent reviewers on the Trusted Traders site have praised Josh’s punctuality, tidiness and the quality of his work, with one customer saying they were ‘amazed at the space he had created’.
Judges were also impressed that Josh has recently introduced a lifetime guarantee on his work. Josh told us: ‘It just underlines the Code of Conduct I signed up to when I joined the scheme, but it also reassures my customers.’
His win comes just a month after receiving our Certificate of Distinction. Josh said: ‘I’m really proud to have this displayed on my profile and of course on my social media profiles.
‘To now have a Which? Trusted Trader Of The Month award to go alongside it is amazing. It feels great to win. It’s a privilege for our work to be appreciated and recognised.’
