Bluebell Fitted Furniture has been named Which? Trusted Trader of the Month for September. 

They have been endorsed by the scheme for 10 years, and won Trader of the Month four times in that period.

We spoke to James Ordsmith, Director of Bluebell Fitted Furniture Ltd, to find out more about their business and the benefits of being a Which? Trusted Trader.

Care and craftsmanship drive consistently high standards of service 

Bluebell Fitted Furniture was established in Cheshire in 1992, with the aim of producing quality furniture using a unique approach.

Instead of using subcontractors, Bluebell employs a full-time workforce, which enables the company to take full control of its projects from start to finish. As well as designing and fitting, it manufactures all of its furniture at its factory in Altrincham, using locally sourced products wherever possible. 

They also place customer care and communication at the heart of their business model. This includes providing itemised quotes, no misleading or pressurising discounts, and honest communication regarding budget, durability, and lead times. 

James explained: ‘I’m most proud of the dedication of our team and the quality of the furniture we create.

Some of Bluebell’s recent charitable work includes donating vouchers for furniture to charity auctions, sponsoring and donating to local sports teams, and completing the Three Peaks Challenge to raise money for a youth charity. 

Bluebell also invests significantly in its employees, offering extensive training, apprenticeships, and participation in Work Experience Programmes.
