I had my stairlift installed, much needed, as I was having trouble going up and down my stairs. From initial contact until installation, the process was dealt with very speedily and with great care, asking frequently if I understood what would happen on installation day. The engineer was on time and was very polite and knowledgeable about what was going to take place. He was aware that I would want to go upstairs at some point while the installation was taking place and he left the premises to allow me some privacy. All in all a job well done with the minimum of fuss and upheaval.

1st Choice Stairlifts came to put in a new stairlift and remove the old one. The young man was so considerate and polite, making sure the dog didn't escape through the open door. He finished the work quickly but made sure the lift was put in properly and up to their very good standard. I tried it out after he kindly showed me how it worked, and I am now using it to transport myself up the stairs.

My husband has Parkinson's and another condition that means he has limited mobility. We therefore had a chairlift fitted. The whole process was very well done. The surveyor who came to the house was very professional and explained everything clearly, he also suggested that we visit the showroom to try the lift for ourselves before making our final decision. We did not feel under any pressure. We decided to go ahead. The chairlift was fitted a week later. Our engineer was Mark who was super. Very calm and efficient and again explained everything very clearly. There was very little mess but Mark cleared up the little bit of dust that was created from the drilling. Everything was done as agreed and to the budget. We were given very clear documentation afterwards. A week later we had a follow up phone call to check that everything was working properly and to emphasise again that if we encountered any issues to contact them and an engineer would come out immediately. We would recommend them.
