From the initial enquiry through to the provision of the service A Brighter Home were excellent. Clear communication and options for appropriate times and preparation and expectations of what the process involves. Very hard working and pleasant people. The outcome was exceptional and I would recommend this service.

Booked them to come on 15th November having agreed on the price. Paul attended at the stated time and explained what he would be doing and how long it all might take. He was very considerate of our house and was able to leave his main machine outside and bring the hose etc through a window which cut down some of the noise that it was hard to tell he was here. 3 sofas were cleaned and we could tell the difference straight away. I was very impressed with their professionalism, tidiness and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone else wanting their sofas cleaned. Great job

I could not believe it, Paul made such a difference to my upholstery and carpets! And Vince did a great job with my oven/hob/extractor fan. Excellent job all around. I was thinking I would have to replace a couple of carpets, they looked so bad. But Paul left them looking like new - save me a fortune! The communication leading up to the job was great - I was told what to expect and what I needed to do in preparation. Both were really nice, friendly guys. Arrived on time, ran me through what to expect on the day, worked very efficiently and left my home clean and tidy. Can't recommend them enough.

An absolutely fantastic firm, text messages to confirm the appointment and to let me know they were on the way on the actual day of the work. Friendly and pleasant phone manner with a courteous attitude. The sofas needed a deep clean which A brighter home performed way above expectations, the sofas were transformed and literally looked as good as the day they were made. Cleaned, deodourised and stain guarded as well ensures these sofas will last for many years to come thanks to a Brighter Home. There was no mess at all and they were clean and tidy in their workmanship. I thoroughly recommend them.

Having selected "A Brighter Home" from among ‘trusted traders’ listed by ‘Which?’ Magazine simply because they're local, I set the Company an "impossible" challenge – to restore to ‘as new’ condition eight fully upholstered dining chairs which, over time, had been sadly neglected. They bore that in-ground grime which had darkened the upholstery from its original very light cream to a dirty fawn – almost brown at the top corners of the backs where they'd been handled. In addition, a number had dried-in dark spots and stains. "A brighter home" couldn't have been fairer. Tim offered to treat the worst chair and, if we were not satisfied with that result, he would cancel the rest of the job without charge. The seat of this ‘test’ chair contained some very dark, caked-on surface deposits. The results he achieved surpassed our expectations and the entire job was completed within a couple of hours. We're not only delighted with the effectiveness of the work but also impressed by this company’s ethical professionalism. Based on this experience I would recommend ‘A Brighter Home’ unhesitatingly; indeed, when a carpet cleaning job next becomes due there are no prizes for guessing where the work will go!

Third time using this company to clean various upholstery and I can only say it’s always been an extremely positive experience. Professional and friendly staff, thorough and reliable service with effective results... Can’t say fairer than that! Will definitely use again.

Turned up on time and did a great job cleaning my oven, hob and cooker hood. This is the second time I have used them and have no complaints. Arranging the appointment was easy and staff are friendly.
