He was able to do an immediate temporary repair and was then patient while my neighbour and I agreed the way forward. When the work was done I was kept informed through the process and some final details were promptly followed up. I was impressed by the calm, positive, and helpful professionalism shown. Allen and his tea a fantastic job for just under 4 weeks where I was incredibly impressed with the work ethics of his team as well as how detailed they were with the overall finish. I had already received a good impression from Allen Dansie, having contacted him for a roof renewal quotation in order to add insulation & had decided unhesitatingly that I would like his company to do the work. As I was hoping to obtain some funding towards this & had to liaise with an exacting new freeholder, I hadn't yet been able to proceed when one of my soffits suddenly worked loose & was overhanging an area where it could have caused injury to a neighbour had it fallen. I contacted Allen Dansie about this & although it was a small job, in which some businesses would not be interested & despite my original work still pending, the response was again excellent, both initially & throughout. Allen Dansie responded within 24 hours to emails; attended swiftly to inspect & followed up promptly with a quotation. When I accepted this, he gave me a date within days for the scaffolding to be put in place, which it was & then for the repair itself, again, within days. Not only was the repair indeed completed on that date but the scaffolding was removed within hours, too, which in my exerience is exceptional. Lastly, I received the invoice later that day & some very helpful photos of my roof, as Allen Dansie had used the opportunity to take these at the same time. I honestly can't imagine a better experience, which exceeded any expectations I would have even of a reputable business. I would certainly use this company again and would recommend them to others.

Allen gave us good advice around having four flat roofs contained with our property and garage replaced. He was not pushy towards doing the work, just giving us the pros and cons. From that we were able to make our decisions. His advice was spot on as when the old flat roofs were removed it was obvious that had the work not been carried out there would have been bigger problems at a later date. The work was carried out on time and to a high standard with the site being cleared at the end of each day. I would have no hesitation in using him again and would be comfortable giving a recommendation.

We had a number of quotes from various companies. Allen was the only one who told us the truth about requiring building control visits and sign off. If we hadn't had the Council involved it would have caused issues later down the line when we came to sell the house. We were kept up to date with the progress of the job throughout. We found him to be genuine and both him and his team to be very professional. The work was carried out to a high standard and the site tidied at the end of each day. I would have no hesitation in using him again and would be comfortable giving a recommendation.

Allen Danzie's team did a very good job of reroofing our kitchen and balcony under difficult weather conditions. The new roofs look really good but don't know yet if they are waterproof as no rain since! However, due to the weather conditions, it was not possible to clean up fully afterwards and the team left a bit of a mess outside. No one came back and it took us a whole afternoon to tidy up the mess. Also we found that our garden hose had been cut and a whole section removed for no apparent reason. Now not long enough to water all our plants. Overall a disappointing end result and Allen was unavailable to do a final inspection.

Based upon a recommendation Allen was instructed to undertake the repairs to our chimney damaged by weather and vegetation growth. The work was done at a reasonable price and undertaken when agreed. The quality of the work is excellent and his team were kind, polite and very professional. A pleasure to work with.

I have used A Dansie Roofing several times and have always been very impressed with the work carried out. Unlike other roofing companies I have used prior to finding Allen and his team, I fully trust Allen's roofing knowledge and expertise, and that whatever he says needs doing, does actually need doing! Allen arrived on schedule and carried out the work himself. The area was left very clean and tidy when completed. This job involved the renewal of roof felt and tiles on the entire roof, and was completed successfully and on time. The team were courteous, friendly and efficient at all times. Allen and his team arranged the scaffolding a couple of days before starting, and arrived on the day specified. They did the job efficiently and we felt we were in competent hands. Some extra work was identified and cost agreed, and included in the job straightaway. The team worked long days to beat the weather which we were grateful for as we were open to the elements and rain expected. No water came in while the job was in progress. The pointing is very neat and colour matched to the tiles. The site was tidied up on completion and the scaffolding was removed soon afterwards. Very pleased with the result. We have used the firm before and recommended to others. Highly likely to use again when we need a roofing job done.

Very fast turnaround on both the quote, and actually doing the work. A friendly team, who worked through a more fiddly job than first anticipated. You can’t ask more from a trader than that they come when they say they will, are quick to provide a quote and a confirmed date for the work to be carried out. The work is then done efficiently and to a very high standard by a highly skilled and friendly team. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend for any roofing issues - big or small.

Allen and his team were a pleasure to deal with and very reliable throughout. They always turned up as promised and carried out the repair of hip ridges and installation of ventilation tiles in a timely manner. The area was left clean and tidy and the scaffolding was removed in a couple of days.

Allen provided a quote from a photo to save time - a tile had slipped during stormy weather. Accepted the quote and Allen came same day to carry out repair which was appreciated as we were away on holiday for 2 weeks. Photo provided by a neighbour who looks after the house in our absence. Had a problem with downpipe with a water butt feed from it that seemed to have become blocked causing rainwater to cascade out of the guttering. Having used Allen before from a recommendation by a neighbour to deal with a roofing issue, I contacted him for some advice and if he was able to deal with it. He came round that day and agreed that it needed replacing with a new downpipe and to remove the water butt. Having checked availability of parts needed and sent through quote the work was carried out very quickly. Great service provided.

I contacted Allen on a referral from a friend. Glad I did. Had to wait six months for a gap in his schedule which I viewed as a good sign - quality trades are always in demand. This proved to be true. The work was re felting three flat roofs and repairing flashing on a chimney. The quality looks to be very good. I don't know that much about roofing but I can tell when people are taking care in their work. Allen and his team were punctual, polite and cheerful, always tidying up after themselves. Allen was happy to take time to explain things to a layman like me so that I could understand any technical details. While our jobs were occurring Storm Eunice nibbled at the tiles on another property and Allen and his team were able to attend to that promptly too.

Lost some ridge tiles and a couple of roof tiles in Storm Eunice. Allen came over the following day and made us watertight and quoted for the work. By Wednesday the scaffolding went up and the following Saturday at seven thirty in the morning the team were here and starting work. The team were all very friendly, the work looks fabulous, the garden was left spotless at the end, and the whole process was very stress free. On the Monday, the scaffolding was down and taken away. I have used the company in the past, and would not hesitate to use them again in the future.
