I highly recommend Allen and his colleagues for roofing issues. A couple of years ago our main roof required attention. We were delighted with the response and outcome so we contacted him again re our leaking flat roof on the bungalow's loft extension. Allen was prompt, courteous, explained what needed to be done, and provided a quote. On our acceptance he set up a temporary cover until the work could take place. Scaffolding up, the work completed and scaffolding removed, efficiently and cheerfully. We are very pleased to be watertight again.

I had a leak in the roof valley I share with my neighbour. Allen responded quickly to my contact and assessed what needed to be done. He was able to do an immediate temporary repair and was then patient while my neighbour and I agreed the way forward. When the work was done I was kept informed through the process and some final details were promptly followed up. I was impressed by the calm, positive, and helpful professionalism shown. After obtaining 7 quotes, I went ahead with A. Dansie for a complete roof replacement for my house in Crawley. Allen and his tea a fantastic job for just under 4 weeks where I was incredibly impressed with the work ethics of his team as well as how detailed they were with the overall finish. I had already received a good impression from Allen Dansie, having contacted him for a roof renewal quotation in order to add insulation & had decided unhesitatingly that I would like his company to do the work. As I was hoping to obtain some funding towards this & had to liaise with an exacting new freeholder, I hadn't yet been able to proceed when one of my soffits suddenly worked loose & was overhanging an area where it could have caused injury to a neighbour had it fallen. I contacted Allen Dansie about this & although it was a small job, in which some businesses would not be interested & despite my original work still pending, the response was again excellent, both initially & throughout. Allen Dansie responded within 24 hours to emails; attended swiftly to inspect & followed up promptly with a quotation. When I accepted this, he gave me a date within days for the scaffolding to be put in place, which it was & then for the repair itself, again, within days. Not only was the repair indeed completed on that date but the scaffolding was removed within hours, too, which in my exerience is exceptional. Lastly, I received the invoice later that day & some very helpful photos of my roof, as Allen Dansie had used the opportunity to take these at the same time. I honestly can't imagine a better experience, which exceeded any expectations I would have even of a reputable business. I would certainly use this company again and would recommend them to others.

Allen gave us good advice around having four flat roofs contained with our property and garage replaced. He was not pushy towards doing the work, just giving us the pros and cons. From that we were able to make our decisions. His advice was spot on as when the old flat roofs were removed it was obvious that had the work not been carried out there would have been bigger problems at a later date. The work was carried out on time and to a high standard with the site being cleared at the end of each day. I would have no hesitation in using him again and would be comfortable giving a recommendation.

If we hadn't had the Council involved it would have caused issues later down the line when we came to sell the house. We were kept up to date with the progress of the job throughout.
