A. Dansie Roofing Ltd is a family-run company of roofing contractors based in Redhill. We have more than a decade of experience and our roofers and we offer the complete roofing service to suit your needs and can work on all commercial or domestic premises.
We can renew, repair and replace all types of pitched and flat roofing efficiently and without fuss. Thanks to our long-term experience as roofing contractors for the Reigate and Dorking areas, we have a loyal customer base that returns to use our company time and time again, whether they need new roofs or a minor repair. We also welcome new clients on a regular basis through referrals, recommendations and testimonials.

During a recent storm, a whirlwind caused a ridge tile on our house to be dislodged and blown away. I searched online for a reputable roofer in our area (Salfords) and found that A Dansie Roofing Ltd based in Horley had the highest possible rating together with numerous excellent reviews. Allen visited the following day at the agreed time to fully advise us about the work required. Quotation agreed same day; the job was completed the following day (Saturday) to a high standard; the tile blended well. I was impressed with Allen's experience, professionalism and friendly approach. Pricing was as quoted. I will use A Dansie Roofing Ltd again when needed. Highly recommended company.

Allen and his team arranged the scaffolding a couple of days before starting, and arrived on the day specified. They did the job efficiently and we felt we were in competent hands. Some extra work was identified and cost agreed, and included in the job straightaway. The team worked long days to beat the weather which we were grateful for as we were open to the elements and rain expected. No water came in while the job was in progress. The pointing is very neat and colour matched to the tiles. The site was tidied up on completion and the scaffolding was removed soon afterwards. Very pleased with the result. We have used the firm before and recommended to others. Highly likely to use again when we need a roofing job done.

Accepted the quote and Allen came same day to carry out repair which was appreciated as we were away on holiday for 2 weeks. Photo provided by a neighbour who looks after the house in our absence. Had a problem with downpipe with a water butt feed from it that seemed to have become blocked causing rainwater to cascade out of the guttering. Having used Allen before from a recommendation by a neighbour to deal with a roofing issue, I contacted him for some advice and if he was able to deal with it. He came round that day and agreed that it needed replacing with a new downpipe and to remove the water butt. Having checked availability of parts needed and sent through quote the work was carried out very quickly. Great service provided.

I contacted Allen on a referral from a friend. Glad I did. Had to wait six months for a gap in his schedule which I viewed as a good sign - quality trades are always in demand. This proved to be true. The work was re felting three flat roofs and repairing flashing on a chimney. The quality looks to be very good. I don't know that much about roofing but I can tell when people are taking care in their work. Allen and his team were punctual, polite and cheerful, always tidying up after themselves. Allen was happy to take time to explain things to a layman like me so that I could understand any technical details. While our jobs were occurring Storm Eunice nibbled at the tiles on another property and Allen and his team were able to attend to that promptly too.

Lost some ridge tiles and a couple of roof tiles in Storm Eunice. Allen came over the following day and made us watertight and quoted for the work. By Wednesday the scaffolding went up and the following Saturday at seven thirty in the morning the team were here and starting work. The team were all very friendly, the work looks fabulous, the garden was left spotless at the end, and the whole process was very stress free. On the Monday, the scaffolding was down and taken away. I have used the company in the past, and would not hesitate to use them again in the future.

Storm Eunice ripped off three of my ridge tiles at midday on Friday, so I phoned Mr. Dansie at one pm the same day. His team attended my property at eight thirty am the following day, and made a swift and secure repair to my roof. The team were polite, helpful and left zero mess. I originally got a quote from Allen in 2020 for work on my roof. Didn’t go with him at the time - what a mistake that was. Cue a year of plus of being messed around by other roofers. Having gone back to Allen, I can see I definitely made the right choice in the end. Great customer service and professionalism in carrying out the work. Quotes were sent both by email and post to make sure I got them ok. Fast response to my emails. Kept promises about dates and what would happen when. I can’t praise Allen and his team more. Don’t waste your time elsewhere: these guys are the real deal.

Initially work was thought to only require sorting out problems with existing roof but on start of the job it was found that additional work was needed. After discussions with Allen on course to be taken at the time, we decided on a new roof which was the best outcome. Obviously this came at an additional cost but with the quality of the of the work it was the best decision. We chose this company with a recommendation from a neighbour whose house he was working on at the time we noticed issues with our roof that needed to be dealt with. The team worked tirelessly to ensure that the work was carried out in shortest possible timescale and that the property was weather/watertight at the end of each day as the weather was proving to be unpredictable with overnight heavy showers/downpours

We’ve just had our work roof completely redone by Allen and his team over the summer, so I had no qualms about asking if he could look at our roof extension, recently badly finished (!) A one day delay with the scaffolders (these things can happen) didn’t affect the start of work, which had Allen and his team arrive nice and early and straight on with the task. Working all day to completion everyone was friendly and most polite, and equally, high standard of work. We are extremely pleased with our new rooves and the efficiency with which the work was carried out. Thoroughly recommend. :@)

I contacted Allen to identify and fix a leak from my Mum's roof. He was quick to respond, take a look at the problem and provided a fair quote for repairs to the chimney. We needed a complete roof replacement. I got 3 quotes and Allen was by far the most professional. He was the only one who actually got his ladder off his vehicle and went up and looked on the roof as well as looking from inside the loft. His Which? Called Allen on Tuesday when I noticed water dripping from a light fitting. He was there byb7.30 Wednesday morning identified where the leak was, quoted by Wednesday evening and the repairs were carried out on the Saturday morning. My roof is very old, leadwork and rendering around the chimney breast were in a poor condition. Allen and his team quickly had it sorted and improved the design to ensure nothing would get through again. We had a lead covered flat roof lying between three pitched roofs which had numerous problems as cracks appeared in the lead. Dansie quoted for renewing this with fibre glass over a wooden flat flooring. This was successfully achieved despite some weather problems. Allen is always prompt to come and see the problem, in this case half an old cast iron stench pipe had fallen down between our and neighbours house - due to potentially dangerous situation should rest fall down, Allen and team came ASAP and removed the dangerous pipe - they then made repairs to the small roofs which were below the pipe. I would always call Allen Dansie if I had any concerns with roof related or building related problems. He replaced our whole roof last year.

We were very pleased with how quickly they started after getting an honest & reasonable quote (definitely didn’t try to rip us off as other companies had tried). We were also impressed by the straightforward way the work was cost and delivered.
