First time I have used this company, and I could not have been more than happy with them. My old system was about 30 years old, so when the engineers turned up on the Monday morning to start they had a big job to do. Well from that moment on they did not disappoint , every step of the way I was informed what was going on and everything was always put back how they found it, they were always on time and didn’t leave sometimes till gone six at night. They only had one break a day. I would highly recommend this company, to anybody, full marks A n checker and Shaun the engineer you are a legend. Everything was spot on with my budget.

We've been Checkers customers for some years and the time came for a new boiler. Despite this being a difficult year for everyone, the work was carried out in time for the colder weather with expediency and professionalism. Industrious staff explained all the workings with patience and understanding and we are now enjoying the comforts the new system has brought us.

Our old boiler circa 30 years old ?? needed replacing last year but we struggled on. However this year it reached the end of its life and AN Checker did a great job of fitting a new boiler down in the cellar. This meant pipework had to be changed and floors taken up in places and was not an easy task. The 2 Andys worked really hard and did a great job. They checked all parts of the system were working and removed the old boiler and left everything tidy. We are very pleased and would recommend them. They have also serviced our old boiler for many years.

We have used A N Checkers to service (and occasionally repair) our boiler for circa 5 years. The boiler was 17 year old so instead of having it serviced again this year we requested a quote (before the lock down) for a replacement. Advice was given on the options available and a very competitive quote provided quickly in early January prior to the virus lock down. Slightly to our surprise, when we enquired about accepting the quote in July they agreed to honour the earlier quote. The work was carried out in two days, efficiently and with minimal noise or disruption. The installation was carried out to a high standard and the boiler is working well and to our full satisfaction.

AN Checker provided a competitive and reasonable quote to supply and fit a replacement for my 20 year old boiler, as well as undertake gas fire checks and radiator maintenance. Very clear and comprehensive quotation paperwork supplied to a high professional standard. The whole process felt very trustworthy, extremely competent and secure. This is a genuinely customer focussed family firm who are lovely to deal with. I am delighted with the quality of the work, which was done in a timely and neat way. No clearing up for me to do! I felt very comfortable with the engineer in my house. Excellent follow up in terms of Gas Safe Certification and invoicing. No hesitation in wholeheartedly recommending this firm.

The work done was to remove a gas fire and replace with new electric fire Work was done promptly on the day specified. The person who fitted the new fire was very thorough and did a proper test of my gas installation after removing the fire which revealed a small gas leak which he fixed for me. I am very pleased with the new fire and the work done

The A.N. Checker engineer - Andy worked really hard and long during the two days fitting the new boiler. He had only a short lunch break over these two days as well as making sure he was there to meet the United Utilities Gas fitter early on Friday morning to resolve the 'Pressure Drop' issues. Andy also made sure he was on hand to sort out with the Electrician any electrical issues and ensured our Conservatory was fully cleaned prior to his final departure. We are fully satisfied with the work undertaken and would not hesitate in recommending them to relatives/friends.

We needed a replacement boiler which also had to be moved to another wall in the kitchen. The surveyor from A.N. Checker was very helpful when we explained our requirements and was very clear about the work to be done and the overall price. We deliberately chose a local firm over national companies as it is reassuring to know that there are people in the local office to discuss the work to be done and to contact if any problems develop (there have been no problems). The fitter was very efficient and did a very tidy job in the time allocated. He was always on time, tidied up at the end of the day's work and was helpful and informative about the work he had done and the operation of the new boiler.

We have been customers of A N Checker Ltd for 20 years. Recently required a new gas boilers in our property in Nailsea. The quote was quickly provided and agreed, a date fixed for the work to be carried out. The work was carried out on time as agreed, some additional work was identified and a quote prepared and agreed, again a date was confirmed and the work carried out on time. All work was done efficiently and as agreed. We have always found A N Checker Ltd to be a trustworthy and helpful company who offer excellent service.

Old gas fire removed and hole drilled through hearth for cable. Work carried out with efficiency and cleanliness. I would recommend this company for good, clean and professional work!

Removal of redundrant gas back boiler and gas fire, capping off gas supply and providing electrical supply for new electric fire with log fire simulation and marble fire surround. All carpets were covered and any rubbish cleared from site. Could not be more happier with the finish product. Well done.

Boiler replacement carried out very efficiently with minimum disruption. Minor hitches were quickly resolved by the engineer who worked until quite late the first day to ensure everything was on track and we had hot water overnight. Very pleased with all aspects from survey to completion.

Plumber turned up and completed job. Very tidy and neat. Took away all rubbish and left home clean. System all works fine and very pleased with the work. Would certainly consider using this company again for any future plumbing work we may need. Thanks.

Supplied and fitted a new hot water cylinder etc. Supplied and fitted a new programmer. Supplied and fitted a new radiator valve. This involved draining down the system. They came on the day and time that we had agreed to. It was done professionally by a polite young man. Due to the display on the new programmer not being bright enough they came back immediately with an alternative and set this up for us. On discovering a small glitch with the running of the boiler this was dealt with straight away. At all times they were available to any questions and enquiries that we had. These were dealt with instantly.

I requested support from Checkers after my boiler broke down and heating stopped – The quality of interaction at all times was of the highest standard, from the first engineer Carl who identified the hole in my old boiler showing me pictures of the damage to ensure I fully understood the nature of what had happened and what caused it before suggesting a range of possible alternatives. I decided on a new system – next day visit and quote from Steve Checker – very professional break down of options, costs and alternatives – very friendly and informative with no pressure whatsoever through to the engineer Chris who fitted the new system – Again very friendly , very informative explaining everything as he went – nothing seemed too much trouble, he seemed to go over and above what would be his commitment to providing a good service – Every aspect was excellent - clean and tidy job - when finished - working instructions very well explained – I've learnt so much about Heating systems !! – To be honest we were almost sorry to see him go as it was so pleasant to have him working in our house - I would suggest it is impossible to get better service than what we received from this company – Would recommend 1000%

Steve arrived and quoted for removal of old boiler and tanks in loft area and New combi boiler installed. Explained in great detail but No pressure whatsoever. Confirmed in writing very quickly, agreed a start and finish date. All work completed on time. Engineer Shaun was very efficient, neat and tidy and informed me in advance when water was going to be turned off etc. About a couple weeks later A N Checker also fitted a new gas cooker. Nothing was too much trouble for this Company. They are true old fashioned professionals. Absolutely excellent. Would highly recommend with no hesitation.

Having used A N Checker for the last 5 years for boiler services and found them efficient, friendly and reliable, I recently chose them to install a new boiler. Staff are specialist in their areas: service engineers, installers etc. and this means that they are quick and efficient in their work. I would not hesitate to recommend this company for any gas heating work, and I would never change supplier, unless they drastically drop their service standards!

The person arrived to give us a quote promptly, we explained what we wanted. He gave us some good advice and said he would send us a written quote, no pressure applied. The quote arrived, we accepted and they started on the day we wanted. Chris arrived promptly and worked very neat and tidy. On completion the boiler controls explained and demonstrated. I recommend this company.

Chris arrived on time, and after a short discussion we agreed on the best run of pipework. He was neat and tidy, made a great job of fitting the pipe into the boiler cupboard without damaging the decoration and cleared up afterward. He was pleasant and explained what he was doing at each stage, as being an engineer, I wanted to be sure I was confident in the end result. Overall I cannot praise Chris enough and the work was done to time and cost.

Had used A.N.Checkers 25 years ago when they fitted our boiler that lasted that 25 years. However British gas said parts were no longer available for it so we went back to Checkers. Shawn the fitter arrived on time and completed the work even working till 8 in the evening to Finnish the job. Excellent work could no fault the work clean and tidy

I cannot recommend Steve and his team enough. They were professional from the moment Steve called to do my first quote, to the moment they left. I have never ever had tradesmen look after my house in such a caring and professional way. Dean and Ethan (the installation team) were amazing. They not only carried out all the work as agreed, but they did so without making any mess, and with absolute care and consideration for myself, my home, and my furniture. The new boiler is great. And, not only did Dean and Ethan install everything professionally and carefully, but they also took the time to sort out the myriad of problems that had been previously left by other tradesmen over the years. I have never ever had such courteous, professional service. I am a huge fan of Steve Checker and the business, and have no hesitation in recommending them to others. Thank you.

AN Checker have been servicing our boiler for years and when it came to replacing it (after 19 years) I wouldn't have used anyone else. They are efficient, courteous, offer value for money and above all a standard of service that can be relied on. They replaced our boiler over 2 days leaving everything in excellent working order and very tidy. I would not hesitate to recommend them.
