We have used Taylor Roofing a couple of times - one for a major job repairing our roof in 2021 and another time to re-roof a balcony which solved our drainage issues. We chose them because of their excellent reputation, borne out by so many 5-star reviews. We also chose them because they are an established local family-based business that have been round for many years. In both instances of using them they provided a highly professional service What I really like about Taylor Roofing is how responsive they are to issues. For our balcony job, our satellite dish needed repositioning after the job. They were round in minutes to sort - all the more impressive because it was a Friday evening. I can't recommend them enough.

3 seperate attempts to seal a leak in a gutter joint. It took almost 6 months in total. Finally the main boss came out in. It was left completed with what looks like black gauze holding it together. 6 months later, it's leaking again. I would not recommend using this company. Very poor workmanship and overall poor quality. I have shown three roofers, who have all laughed!

We had a full re roof that was completed on time and within the agreed price. Adam and Liam who did the work were very hard working and very talented at their work. They were polite and nothing was too much trouble and they were very tidy, polite and a pleasure to have about. I cannot recommend the company and these lads enough. Engaged this company to complete repairs to our extension roof following poor workmanship by the builder which led to raining in at various locations including around Velux windows. From initial survey to completion of work we found the service to be exemplary. Work was completed at the beginning of September and following internal re-decoration and several weeks of autumnal wet weather there is no sign of rain penetration. Can’t recommend this company enough.

The men carried out repair work to the chimney stack, removing (carefully) existing tiles and re-fixing them. New under-felt fitted and new lathe, broken tiles were replaced. New lead flashings were fitted to the left-hand side of the chimney and sealed. The men worked hard in awful weather, kept us informed and were exemplary in all their dealings with us, as were all the staff who we saw and spoke to on the phone. Appointments were always on time. We were impressed by the professionalism at all stages.

Found the company in our local business directory, and because it was a family run business decided to contact them for a quote. The job itself was to replace an existing roof on a small outbuilding. Andy came to look at the job and I was impressed with the way he conveyed to me what was required and how they would complete the work. I received the quote the next day and decided to ask them to do the work. Works were started and completed in one day, and the workmen were fast and efficient and cleared all the rubbish away leaving me thoroughly impressed with the outstanding job they had done. I was very impressed with both Kim and Andy Taylor on first contact and when they produced a very detailed quote of work to be done, material to be used and a time schedule all in 24 hours of seeing the job. I was more than happy to go with them. Pricing was what I was expecting and backed by a 10 year guarantee. They started on the date stated and the roof was stripped and replaced in three days. The roofer were very efficient and courteous and kept everything tidy. My faith in Taylor Roofing was well founded.

Found this company on Google search and was impressed by testimonies of previous customers.Andy came out to measure for an estimate and I received one, by post, the next day. Although it was not the cheapest quote I had been offered, I found the reviews and Andy's demeanour to be more compelling and i wanted a first class job. The fitting team arrived on the Tuesday and were polite and helpful, after stripping and preparing the roof for new facias and gluing down the rubber roof lining, the whole job was completed on Wednesday afternoon, the crew were very tidy and a pleasure to have on my property. I can only say that the whole experience was faultless and to Andy, Kim and the team a big thank you!

I have used the company on 2 occasions, the last one being for a complete new roof and I can honestly say that I have been delighted with the work. Job 1. The ridge tiles on my bungalow were removed together with the old mortar from the valleys and gables. The valleys were re-bedded and pointed and the gables were fitted with maintenance free dry verge units. New ridge tiles were fitted including maintenance free dry ridge system. Job 2 Bitumen felt and boards were removed from two large flat roofs. The roofs were fitted with a single ply EPDM Firestone rubber membrane in one piece on each roof. New cover flashings were fitted and the perimeter edge was fitted with UPVC edge and gutter trims. Job 3 The rear guttering on the conservatory was re-aligned and fitted with an additional fall pipe and water butt. Opinion of the work All the above work was carried out efficiently and to a high standard over a period of approximately four days. The personnel were pleasant and the company very professional in their work and customer relationship.
