A1 have just completed 2 full bathroom renovations for me - my main bathroom and en-suite, the results are outstanding. The quality of workmanship is exceptional, with every detail finished to an impressively high standard. It’s clear a great deal of care & pride has gone into the work, and the finished spaces look fantastic. From the initial consultation through to completion, the entire experience was smooth & genuinely enjoyable. What really sets A1 apart, though, is their team. Mark, Jane, Rob, Sam, Simon, Stuart, Ryan, Paul, Fred etc are a real credit to the company. A huge thank you!

We were very impressed by the service provided by A1 Bathrooms & Kitchens. The whole process from initial consultation to the completion of our bathroom was seamless, and we felt completely involved, informed & at ease at all stages. When planning our new bathroom, we were confident that Mark understood our design ideas. He helped us pick out beautiful tiles and showed us different options with colours and layouts until we were happy. He fully instilled us with confidence about each stage of the project. As a family of four for whom this is our only bathroom, we were particularly worried about being without a toilet for any period of time but were never made to feel this was going to be a problem (and we were never without a working toilet throughout the work). During the project we were really impressed with each of the tradesmen that worked on it, they were professional, friendly, communicative about each stage, and left everything very clean and tidy at the end of each day - in particular Simon & Stuart - I think it really did make a difference that they all work for A1 and not sub-contracted. When any challenges were uncovered (our house is a little older & quirky, so there were a few things!) they always had a couple of options / solutions, and we were never made to feel like there was something insurmountable or going to come at a cost! We are delighted with the finished bathroom and would happily recommend A1 Bathrooms & Kitchens.

We used A1 Bathrooms and Kitchens to design, supply and install our bathroom. From start to finish, the entire process was smooth and stress-free. Communication was excellent throughout. We were always kept informed about what work would be carried out each day. The team were polite, friendly and efficient. The quality of their work is outstanding, and we are delighted with the result. We would highly recommend them and will definitely be using them again for future projects.

A1 had previously refitted our kitchen in 2019, so they were our first choice when we wanted to upgrade part of our bathroom, and we are very pleased with the result. As we are getting older and getting in and out of the bath was proving more difficult we wanted to future proof it and make it more easy access. The work entailed removing the bath and replacing it with a shower cubicle. The wall tiles were removed and replaced with wall panels to make it easy to keep clean. The wiring was upgraded for a higher powered electric shower and extractor. The Whole Team did a brilliant job and we couldn't have wished for a better service. They arrived on time, worked hard and were professional and helpful throughout. The house was left in good order at the end of each day. We were kept well informed during the whole process. The work went as planned with just a minor delay when the wall panels didn't arrive as expected. The coast of the work was as quoted and the work was completed within the time frame of 1 week. With our experience of A1 we are more than happy to recommend them.

Having done research, I contacted A1 to see what to do. They led us through the whole process of choosing materials, equipment, colours etc, then planning the work - timescales, new equipment storage, waste removal, tradesmen timetables and so on. The actual work is overseen by their project manager (who is a tradesman) dovetailing the different trades for an almost seamless, continuous process of removal of the old bathroom and installation of the new. The work was completed in line with the predicted time and budget. I am very pleased to have used A1 and would do so again. Good value for money.

We have used A1 Bathrooms several times ourselves and so when my elderly mother needed some alterations to her bathroom, we did not hesitate in contacting this company. We know we can rely upon them for polite and friendly service, superb craftsmanship and reliable and honest advice. Unsurprisingly they came up trumps again. I would not hesitate to recommend this company. They are completely trustworthy and professional.

Last room to be modernised since buying the house a long time ago. After a long time working out what we wanted, we decided to opt for quality and design over price. A1 was our supplier of choice as the design and professionalism shone through. This was also the case when the work was carried out to a very high standard. We are very pleased with the result.

A complete redesign and upgrade of our en-suite bathroom. This involved nearly 4 weeks work - a 100% rip-out of existing wall tiles, flooring, lighting, and bath and modifying the plumbing and modifying the bathroom’s interior design. Replaced the bath with a walk-in shower with glass screen and fittings, new furniture, sanitary ware, taps, cabinets, dual-fuel radiator, tiles, lighting and extractor fan. Excellent workmanship from a friendly team of bathroom fitters, plumbers, electrician, tiler, plasterer and painter and decorator - all directly employed by A1 Bathrooms except for the last two. Also installed a new electrical consumer unit, (though not essential for the bathroom upgrade) Hassle-free as a result of thorough project management and quality control. First-class customer communication from sales, admin and the installation teams. Not the cheapest but quality is outstanding. A pleasure to deal with. Highly recommended.

We first contacted A1 to replace our extremely dated and falling apart kitchen. Alison who designed the kitchen was excellent and came up with a design and plan that we liked. Shortly after deposit we had a team of people round to double check measurements and plan things out. During the installation, Fred and team were extremely professional and always cleared up at the end of each day. The quality of workmanship on all the trades was excellent and any problems were raised and solution provided. In addition to the kitchen refit, there was also a false wall being removed, the ceiling was replaced and a few doors and radiators also replaced, so this was a fairly complex job. Rob arranged everything and co-ordinated the few subcontractors that we needed, and the recommended water softener company was scheduled in. They were not the cheapest on price but you do indeed get what you pay for. The quality of the units and the detail the fitter put into the installation was amazing and throughout the whole process we didn't have to worry about anything. Well worth it. I would certainly recommend A1 to anyone, and in a few years when we plan to get our bathroom replaced, we will be in touch again.

We got A1 to upgrade, remodel and install our bathrooms and WC and they did a fabulous job! From the initial planning and guidance, where their experience and expertise guided us so well, to the fantastic team who came to install and bring the plans to life, we were honestly blown away by how good everything has been. The team were always on time, showed great respect to us and our property and were a really great bunch. It really felt like we had extended family with us most days rather then workmen on site. They were incredibly diligent and always cleaned up after themselves every evening. Communications with A1 have always been very timely and any small issues (mostly caused by us either changing our mind or thinking we had told them we had changed our mind) were immediately and graciously accommodated. We started this process as nervous novices, but feel like we've been taken under their wing and we've ended up with 3 rooms that have made a huge difference to our spaces and the way we live.
