Absolute Electrical Lincoln Limited

We recently moved into a new home and switched from a gas hob to an induction hob, which necessitated fitting a cooker circuit. After doing plenty of research including Which Trusted Trader and Checkatrade we contacted Absolute Electrical in Lincoln. Andrew came out to view and quote for the work when he said he would - always a good start - and while he was here I mentioned that I wanted the consumer unit replaced as the existing one was not to current specification. I also said that we would be having some work done in the living room and could he replace an existing single socket with a double socket. After agreeing the quote the work was scheduled for two days 5-6th September. Morgan arrived first thing Monday morning, and apart from a short break for lunch, worked non-stop all day. In addition to doing the work that had been agreed he also answered lots of my questions (which will lead to more work) and agreed to fit in another couple of small jobs. When he finished on the Monday, he left everything clean and tidy. He returned - as agreed - on Tuesday afternoon to finish up and to complete the other two jobs I asked for. Again, when he finished he cleaned up and left everything tidy. I can't praise Morgan highly enough We will want some more electrical work done in the next few weeks/months. I shan't bother looking for anyone other than Absolute Electrical for this and I will request that Morgan do the work.

Arrived on time, friendly, checked the work required, applied safety steps, did the work of moving switch, putting hole in wall etc. and cleaned up afterwards. Also suggested doing the job in such a way so that it made the decorating work afterwards very easy for us to do. Very professional and would use the company again.

We needed the electrics disconnected in our shed and garage ready for them to be demolished April, however learnt the demolition would be done sooner so needed the disconnection done quickly. Absolute booked in Morgan the next day who arrived promptly, did a very speedy job and made everything safe. Always very helpful, knowledgeable and polite. Will be using again for the electrics in our extension.

I initially employed Absolute to carry out an electrical inspection as the property had not been checked for over fifteen years. This highlighted a list of remedial work needed. I found the company very efficient from the office staff through to the guys doing the work. They turned up when they said they would and carried out the work without any fuss. I would absolutely recommend this company for any electrical work.

They responded promptly to our enquiry and the work was scheduled within a reasonable time and kept to. They arranged the work around our need to be in the bungalow and left us each evening with functioning tv Wi-Fi and heating. The guys were all personable and hard working and left the home in a reasonable state each evening and the finish at the end of the work was okay. Responded promptly to a problem with one socket a month after the rewire. Perhaps not the cheapest but do a good job in an agreed time scale.

I have used Absolute Electrical several times now for small and large jobs. They always respond quickly to my enquiries and I am always impressed by how carefully they work. I will always use them for any electrical work in the future, because I know they are completely trustworthy.

Absolute Electrical have been a pleasure to work with throughout. Andy initially came out to provide us with emergency power after a burst pipe caused flooding. As we were so impressed with their attitude and service, we chose to use them to rewire the whole house as it was being renovated. Andy and his team did a great, neat job and were always helpful and polite. As we are not local, Andy helped us in finding other tradespeople to complete other aspects of the renovation and has helped us in many ways. The quotation for the job was very reasonable and we have been very pleased with all work carried out. When we had an issue with the configuration of a 3 way switch, someone immediately came back to sort the problem. I would happily recommend their work to others. Thank you, Absolute Electrical.

I must admit that contacting tradespeople to get work done is probably my least favourite thing. I find they often quote silly prices, don't turn up on time or even at all, and then try to augment the bill with 'extras'. Absolute Electricals were a revelation. An exact quote was given by email for the work needed; installing an outside socket and repairing an extractor fan. Rob turned up exactly on time and completed the work quickly and to a good standard. He was flexible and readily agreed to install two external sockets rather than one. The final price was less than another electrician had quoted to just install one external socket. I will certainly use Absolute Electricals again.

This is the third time I have used Andy / Absolute Electrical. Most recently in Dec 20 to install a new double plug socket in my kitchen (where there wasn't one previously) and also to replace some faded / paint splattered light switches and plug sockets (previous owner !) - he did a great job. On 9 Feb 21 I had some uplighters replaced with some new dimmable LED uplighters and the remainder of my faded / paint splattered light switches and plug sockets replaced - he did a great job again ! He is currently replacing the fan in my en suite which has stopped working. A pleasure to do business with - appointments easy to arrange by email around my complex work schedule. Always on time, tidy, always great work, good value and a nice guy too - thoroughly recommended 10/10.

Having used Absolute Electricals for a previous job, I had no hesitation in using them for this latest one. Fiona is always friendly and efficient when you call to make an enquiry. Andy arrived at the time stated to give me a budget quotation and explain in full what it entailed. He completed the job again at the time and date stated and he and his colleague were both friendly and clean in their work. Before he left, Andy showed me and explained the work they had done, asked me if I was satisfied and told me not to hesitate getting in touch if I had any problems. An all-round excellent service from a local company and thoroughly recommended.

The work involved was a small task but this was not a problem. Andy arrived exactly when arranged and the work was efficient, tidy and has fixed our issue. Communication and friendliness was also commendable, making the whole task a breeze.

This was very easy to organise via Fiona and she was very accomodating. The inspection by Andrew went smoothly and to schedule - though I wasn't in attendance. The communication was friendly and efficient. I was very happy with the report which was clear, detailed and comprehensive - I could see the work that went in and could trust in Andrew's professionalism. I will definitely go to Andrew with future electrical works.

Andy came at very short notice because the electrician responsible for the ongoing work at our refurbishment was unable to come due to Covid19. We were grateful he understood the situation and fitted us in. Andrew turned up as promised, did the job quickly and efficiently with a reasonable cost. He brought his father to assist, an experienced electrician who was equally helpful and agreeable. Both Andy and John observed the social distancing rules and wore the appropriate PPE. I have no hesitation in recommending Absolute Electrical Lincoln.

Absolute Electrical designed and fitted Infrared heating into several of our church halls and meeting rooms at Alive church in Grantham. Because of the intermittent use, we went for Infrared heating. The design has given us the flexibility we wanted. Absolute Electrical fitted in with our schedule and was mindful of the needs of a church. They completed on time and to an excellent standard. Overall, we are very pleased with the outcome.

Andrew replaced three household mains powered smoke alarms and one kitchen heat detector, along with replacing a bathroom pull light switch. He was really easy to deal with to arrange to get the work done, arrived promptly, did a great job using quality products he had selected as being appropriate for my needs. High quality work and left the place tidy. Explained everything very clearly – happy with the price charged and have already asked him to quote on some other electrical work to be done. Now my go to electrician in Lincoln.

Andrew installed a new fusebox, fitted two new sockets, and attended to two faulty sockets in the house, and tested the whole system... additional work was required but he kept us informed of extra expense incurred before he did it, all of which was necessary. The work was carried out to very high standard and with a minimum of disruption. Andrew and his apprentice were courteous and professional, and cleaned up after themselves. I consider the fee very good value for the amount of work carried out.

Andy fitted spotlights to our bathroom, he did this whilst we were out, the job he did was fantastic and he left the place sparklingly clean.

The work that was completed on our new property was spot on, thank you for all your hard word. We would use you again without hesitation.

Had a big list of jobs including new wiring to shower, new consumer unit, additional sockets and new lighting in the loft and bathroom. All completed as agreed, and to top standard. Would recommend!
