David was very helpful giving good advice when doing quote. Kindly offered to fit us in 2 days later, on a Sunday! The loft was boarded before we moved in the following week. This proved invaluable providing us with the extra storage space we certainly needed. Nice tidy job. Good communications throughout. Would definitely recommend.

David boarded my new build loft out and installed a loft ladder. From the start, his communication has been excellent and he has been honest, friendly and reliable when quoting the job and coming to complete the work. The loft looks fantastic and I am so pleased with the quality of David’s work. He was punctual, hard-working and took care to protect my house with dust sheets and cleaned up after completing the work. A trustworthy trader that I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

My house is a new build with loads of insulation in the loft. I wanted part boarding on stilts with an access ladder, just to store things like suitcases and Christmas decorations. David gave me a quote, and carried out the work on the agreed day to a high standard, leaving everything clean and tidy. I’m very happy with the work, the boarding seems very solid given it’s on stilts.

David arrived on time and proceeded to do the work of fitting a loft ladder and hatch door in a very efficient and professional manner. I was very impressed by the way he suggested to us that we have a different hatch door to the one that was on the original quote. He explained the reasons why we would be better off changing and following his recommendations we went along with the change in loft hatch and are very pleased with the new hatch door and ladder. The work was finished within the time scale of half a day and done to the agreed budget. Upon completion David explained how the loft ladder works and asked us if we had any questions. The landing in our house was left clean and tidy and the outside by his van was also swept by David. The standard of the work and product are first class and I would certainly recommend David and Access4Lofts to family and friends.

I was very pleased with the work carried out by David. Everything was clearly explained when he first surveyed the loft for insulation and boarding and the final cost was exactly as was quoted following that survey. After finishing David left the house clean and tidy. I would fully recommend his services to others.

David was very polite, professional and carried out the work efficiently and with no mess. The standard of workmanship was very good and on completion, he carefully explained how to operate the telescopic loft ladder. I have already recommended David and Access4Lofts to a family member.

David installed new boarding in my loft, a new ladder and replaced the existing hatch. Initial contact - I spoke to David on the phone to explain my requirements and the current state of my loft. David gave an honest appraisal and proposed a couple of solutions for me to consider without trying to sell me any additional "extras" that I did not want. Great first impression. Quotation - David arrived as agreed, surveyed the loft and provided me with a well costed, reasonable quote for me to consider. Again, there was no attempt to sell me extras that he knew I didn't want and that other companies had tried to sell to me. I felt that he was being honest with me which is one of the main considerations I have when employing a trader. Fitting - All of the work was fitted as agreed and in the time scale agreed. In my opinion, he has completed a thoroughly professional job throughout and exactly what I wanted. He laid dust sheets throughout the house ensuring no mess and cleared to initial state each day before he left. David also gave me a full demonstration and explanation of how the ladder/hatch should be safely operated. Price - The price invoiced was exactly the price quoted. Summary - Really pleased with David from start to finish, helpful, honest, professional, polite and punctual at all times. A quality installation at a fair price.

Moved into this house 12 months ago. Loft access was terrible and had no fitted ladder. Was told that because of the raised flooring in the loft, a ladder couldn't be fitted. DD Lofts Ltd. responded quickly to a message I sent, came and surveyed, assured me it could be done. Dave arrived prompt at 08:30 and it took until 12:30 but an excellent job. Everything clean and tidy and a good ladder with a hand rail to access the loft for storage. Really pleased with his work and can recommend DD Lofts Ltd.

We were impressed by David from the first contact with him. We were in the run-up to Christmas, he was totally honest and said he was fully booked out until Christmas, that in itself a recommendation, busy traders a sign of previous good jobs. However, David did say he would survey the job very soon in preparation of an estimate He surveyed the job on time and sent us an estimate within 24hours. We accepted immediately and on the day, David arrived on time. Firstly he had recommended roof space ventilation be increased to dry out the roof space itself which we did. Secondly, all boarding loft materials David brought with him were excellent quality and we were happy for the works to start. David is a master craftsman and all changes to the "plan" were undertaken within the estimated price, no extra charges he just got on with the job. A plus was how clean he kept the surrounding working area, cleaned up during and after the job. The finished job was completed on budget, on time, and looks great, what more can you ask? In summary great job from a professional, highly recommended.

David was very friendly and informative when he called by to give a quote. He gave good advice on what was recommended and what was not required, which meant we did not pay for things that we didn't need. On the day he did an excellent job and left the area he was working tidy. David was great at communicating throughout.

David was thorough in the entire process of initial survey, providing quote and the actual execution of work. He provided all the possible options and cost as part of initial survey and quote. He also suggested how some products may not be so useful in my case. In terms of execution he was quick, clean and gratefully declined my offer to help every single time. He even returned back quickly to fix a small hiccup(which may not be entirely his faults original fitters might have left it so) with unexpected/accidental electric cable loosening which shows his commitment to the job. Well done David.

David quickly responded to our request to quote for boarding out our loft. He was able to provide a quote on the day, and give some options to manage our budget. Work was schedule in for a couple of weeks later. David did all the work himself and was friendly and efficient, taking only 1 day to complete the job. Our loft looks great now. David also upgraded us with thicker insulation (due to supply issues), but still kept the quoted price. Highly recommended for anyone within the Cambridgeshire area.

David had already boarded over our loft but we initially decided not to do the loft ladder. We soon changed our minds and asked him to come back and instal one so we could make effective use of our new storage space. David communicates really well and his quality of work is great. He tidies up after his work too which means a lot when you’ve got 3 kids! I highly recommend him.
