Had a folding loft ladder and new hatch fitted this week. It was an excellent job and everywhere was left clean and tidy.

David (and Damien) arrived on time and started work immediately. He made sure his dust sheets were down (on the new carpet) and worked continuously until the job was completed. 4 hours later when the job was finished, he then cleaned up, hoovered and demonstrated how to use the loft ladder. There was no mess or evidence that he had even been in the house! A very friendly, professional person who you can trust to get on with the job. David was thorough in the entire process of initial survey, providing quote and the actual execution of work. He provided all the possible options and cost as part of initial survey and quote. He also suggested how some products may not be so useful in my case. In terms of execution he was quick, clean and gratefully declined my offer to help every single time. He even returned back quickly to fix a small hiccup(which may not be entirely his faults original fitters might have left it so) with unexpected/accidental electric cable loosening which shows his commitment to the job. Well done David.

I contacted Access4Lofts Cambridge for a quote to either replace or repair the loft ladder. David advised that a new ladder was unnecessary and a new hatch + latch would suffice. This has now been done and I am pleased with the result, i.e. I can put the ladder away securely. All communication with David was efficient, clear and helpful. The work was done exactly as described with no hidden costs. I have no hesitation in recommending Access4Lofts Cambridge.

David turned up to quote at the specified time and was extremely helpful including fixing the hatch for free when he could have potentially sold me a new one. After booking the job it was completed very efficiently on the agreed day at the agreed price. Highly Recommended and would certainly use again.

I was very surprised at how quick the job was completed. The installer was also not hesitant to tell me when he thought something was not necessary when I asked for his opinion, so I did not feel like I was being upsold on anything. After finishing, I spoke to the installer about work I was considering having done in the future, and he was friendly and gave me a lot of information. I walked around the attic after he had finished, and it felt very safe, and looked to have been done to a high standard. I would absolutely use this company again if I do choose to have more work done on my attic in future.

On booking the work I was given good advice and explanation. The trader turned up when promised and texted me to say when he was on his way. He did the work promptly and carefully explained the operation of the loft hatch. Dust sheets were laid during the work and surfaces were cleaned up afterwards. The actual cost came in under the estimate. A very positive experience.

Access4Lofts installed a telescopic ladder to my loft. The work was carried out to time and cost. They were very professional, conscientious, and I could not be more pleased with the end result. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

David boarded my new build loft out and installed a loft ladder. From the start, his communication has been excellent and he has been honest, friendly and reliable when quoting the job and coming to complete the work. We were impressed by David from the first contact with him. We were in the run-up to Christmas, he was totally honest and said he was fully booked out until Christmas, that in itself a recommendation, busy traders a sign of previous good jobs. However, David did say he would survey the job very soon in preparation of an estimate He surveyed the job on time and sent us an estimate within 24hours. We accepted immediately and on the day, David arrived on time. Firstly he had recommended roof space ventilation be increased to dry out the roof space itself which we did. Secondly, all boarding loft materials David brought with him were excellent quality and we were happy for the works to start. David is a master craftsman and all changes to the "plan" were undertaken within the estimated price, no extra charges he just got on with the job. A plus was how clean he kept the surrounding working area, cleaned up during and after the job. The finished job was completed on budget, on time, and looks great, what more can you ask? In summary great job from a professional, highly recommended.

David made the entire process from initial quotation to carrying out the works extremely easy. He did a very professional job, on time and on budget. He also kept me informed whilst the work was being carried out. We would definitely recommend him to anybody needing loft insulation, boarding and a new loft ladder.

David was a joy to deal with from start to finish, he came and quoted for the works and then went to extra effort to ensure he completed the insulation part of the job before Christmas so we were nice and warm! He has transformed our loft space and was punctual, tidy and has completed the works to a very good standard

David was very friendly and informative when he called by to give a quote. He gave good advice on what was recommended and what was not required, which meant we did not pay for things that we didn't need. On the day he did an excellent job and left the area he was working tidy. David was great at communicating throughout.

David relocated and expanded our loft hatch. The work was done thoroughly and nothing was too much trouble. As well as agreeing to rework the frame after a misunderstanding around the hatch size, he also resized some of the loft boards so they could be relaid once the hatch was complete. The work was thorough and he also cleaned up afterwards. I would certainly recommend him and thank him for his work.

David said that he would arrive by 8am and that is when he arrived - and 3 hours after I finished work he did ! - he literally didn't stop until the work was finished which, we are particularly grateful because for personal reasons we needed the work completed as quickly as possible. We were given the choice of two different ladders at different prices - he offered to bring both so we could decide on the day - no pressure on choice. The price we were quoted was the price we paid - very happy with the quality of the work - friendly service - with useful advice and no pressure up-selling. Would I do it again and would I use David - the answer is yes to both questions.

Yesterday we had a telescopic ladder fitted in our loft. The product is very sturdy and the work was carried out to a high standard. We are very pleased with it. David Debono observed the distancing rules for Covid and worked really hard under the conditions. There was very little spare room, less than half an inch in fact! I would not hesitate in recommending David and the company to anybody

David installed a loft ladder and part-boarded my loft in early September. He had previously been over to give an estimate and establish what was required so when he arrived on the day he had everything that he needed. He put dustsheets down everywhere and wore a PPE mask when walking through the house. The loft boarding looks great as does the new loft hatch and ladder. Before he left he demonstrated the ladder, allowed me to practice locking and unlocking the hatch and then after picking up the dustsheets he vacuumed. David was professional and thorough, the work was on budget and completed faster than expected and I would definitely recommend him.

David was very helpful giving good advice when doing quote. Kindly offered to fit us in 2 days later, on a Sunday! The loft was boarded before we moved in the following week. This proved invaluable providing us with the extra storage space we certainly needed. Nice tidy job. Good communications throughout. Would definitely recommend.

Moved into this house 12 months ago. Loft access was terrible and had no fitted ladder. Was told that because of the raised flooring in the loft, a ladder couldn't be fitted. DD Lofts Ltd. responded quickly to a message I sent, came and surveyed, assured me it could be done. Dave arrived prompt at 08:30 and it took until 12:30 but an excellent job. Everything clean and tidy and a good ladder with a hand rail to access the loft for storage. Really pleased with his work and can recommend DD Lofts Ltd.

David came a few weeks before the work and provided us with a quote. He didn’t a try to oversell and promise the word, and he delivered exactly what he promised. Came early in the morning as agreed, got all the tools and materials causing the least intrusion. He finished the job on time, to a high standard and I would definitely recommend his services to others.

I enquired about getting a new loft hatch for my father. David contacted me straight away. My father's house was outside David's area so was unable to do the work. He did offer to provide a cost that my father could use to ensure that is wasn't being over charged by a local company. He didn't need to do this and no doubt would have cost him time to do but for my father it will be invaluable. It is refreshing to see a trader go out of his way to ensure some does not get ripped off. Thank you David.
