David relocated and expanded our loft hatch. The work was done thoroughly and nothing was too much trouble. As well as agreeing to rework the frame after a misunderstanding around the hatch size, he also resized some of the loft boards so they could be relaid once the hatch was complete. The work was thorough and he also cleaned up afterwards. I would certainly recommend him and thank him for his work.

Yesterday we had a telescopic ladder fitted in our loft. The product is very sturdy and the work was carried out to a high standard. We are very pleased with it. David Debono observed the distancing rules for Covid and worked really hard under the conditions. There was very little spare room, less than half an inch in fact! David (and Damien) arrived on time and started work immediately. He made sure his dust sheets were down (on the new carpet) and worked continuously until the job was completed. 4 hours later when the job was finished, he then cleaned up, hoovered and demonstrated how to use the loft ladder. There was no mess or evidence that he had even been in the house! A very friendly, professional person who you can trust to get on with the job. He was great to deal with from start to finish - quick to respond to my original enquiry (to get our loft boarded and to fit a hatch and ladder), quick to survey and provide a quote for the job, and able to schedule and book our job in within 4 weeks. He was personable, efficient and skilled, carrying the work out on time, to the agreed schedule and to the exact price quoted. The work was completed to a high standard and everything was left in great condition.

David turned up to quote at the specified time and was extremely helpful including fixing the hatch for free when he could have potentially sold me a new one. I had a good feeling from David from the beginning when he came round to quote - genuine and knowledgable about the work that needed completing to improve insulation, safety of loft hatch and board installation for purpose of storage in loft. David was professional throughout the work, offering competitive pricing and time frame to complete work. I have been impressed by the finished result as increased insulation is instantly noticeable to warmth of house and we have a new loft floor that is safe and can use for storage. I would highly recommend David's work. In 1.5 days he boarded over half of our large loft, put up shelves in the rafters and altered the access so it is now so much easier to move things in and out of the loft. We now have a huge, easy to use storage space. David's workmanship was impeccable, the new hatch looks perfect, and he gave attention to the boundaries between the old and new areas of boarding to make them as safe as possible. He also went above and beyond the quoted work, and instead of disposing of unused board pieces he added a large amount of extra shelving with it. He was clean and tidy, and explained everything clearly.

We had a new hatch with a loft ladder, flooring, shelving and insulation topped up. David arrived on the afternoon as stated in order to establish what work was required and to be able to supply a quote. We received the quote in less than 2 hours and agreed for the work to be carried out. We were provided with a two-day installation window, which was agreed. The day before installation we received a text message confirming that the work would be carried out the following day. David removed the old partial loft flooring that had not been installed properly. Once the work was completed, he provided a demonstration of how the new loft hatch and ladder worked and checked that we were both satisfied. David provided floor sheets to protect our carpets, all rubbish was removed from our premises and the work area was tidied and cleaned before he left. He also checked to make sure we were happy with his work. If you want similar work carried out, then Access4lofts should be your first point of call. He phoned as scheduled, came to quote, and came up with some great ideas to enhance the loft space for less cost. David installed a loft ladder, top up insulation and ventilation in our loft. On his initial visit to quote for the work, there was no hard sell, just honest sound advice as to the best way forward for our requirements. He was professional, tidy and polite. He made every effort to ensure the work was carried out to a high standard. We are extremely pleased with the final result and would certainly recommended him.

David de Bono responded promptly for our request for advice about installing a loft ladder at our home. He came and looked at the premises, gave clear advice and a verbal estimate of costs, which he confirmed shortly afterwards in writing. We agreed a date for the installation to take place some 10 days later. In between, Which published an article saying that many telescopic ladders were dangerous, so I emailed David de Bono asking if he was completely confident about the safety of the ladder he proposed to install, and received a full and reassuring reply. He came on time on the agreed day and installed the ladder and modified the access hatch exactly as discussed, quickly and neatly. The explanation and demonstration which he then gave me about how to access, use and stow the ladder was clear and thorough. He was easy to have in the house and very site-tidy, providing a dust sheet to cover our stairs and landing, which, when removed, left nothing for our vacuum cleaner to pick up. His invoice arrived later the same day. In short, he provided a first-rate service from start to finish and I thoroughly recommend him to anyone seeking a similar solution.

David did an excellent job boarding our loft recently. He also installed a loft ladder with a handle so I felt secure getting in and out and provided a light, which is great. The price was very good and we were able to get it completed quickly which really helped.
