Kelvin was very friendly and honest from the first meeting, advising me of what I did and didn’t need. Other companies had quoted for over 8m2 more boarding than was used. He was available to do the work within a short period from the quote, despite it being a few days before Xmas. He arrived on time, laid down sheets on the stairs & under the loft hatch area and cardboard to ensure all of house was kept clean from the in and out. The work itself is excellent, we couldn’t have asked for more. Kevin was very prompt, very polite. His work was excellent. He made sure that carpets were covered and there was minimal mess. The loft doors were painted and trimming and insulation installed. He cleared up after himself and took old loft frames and doors away. I am extremely pleased with his work and would not hesitate to recommend his work to anyone.

Kelvin and the team did a super job of fitting loft boarding over a large space. He laid the insulation and put the floating boards on top. He arrived on time for both days and cleared up after himself. He took the time to show me what he had done and where he had to avoid due to pipeworks before he left. They also laid coverings over the floor and covers on their shoes to ensure there was no damage to the carpet. Really appreciate the effort!

I am so happy with my new loft hatch and ladder. The work was completed today at a very competitive price. Kelvin, who carried out the work was very professional and efficient. We got in touch with Kelvin as we were looking to have our loft boarded and a ladder installed. We booked in for quote and Kelvin arrived on time and thoroughly assessed our needs, while also making recommendations along the way. His quote was reasonable and we booked in the work. On the day of the work, Kelvin was extremely diligent and went above and beyond to complete it all within a single day. He was even quiet enough that our 1-year old managed to nap during the work! The end result is fantastic, neat and we are very happy with the work. Kelvin also did a thorough job of tidying up after himself and was extremely polite throughout our communications.

I needed a new draught proof loft hatch and a ladder. Kelvin turned up on time, listened to my requirements and knew exactly how to solve the problems. I got the quote the same afternoon. On the agreed day, he turned up on time, fully prepared. No fuss, he just got on with the work making adjustments to make the new hatch and ladder fit. He laid dustsheets everywhere, tidied up after himself, made sure I knew how to use everything safely, and took away all rubbish. The final invoice turned up the same day. I'm very happy with the service and would highly recommend him.

We wanted a loft ladder installed and an area of around 7.5 sq metres boarded. Kelvin was prompt, courteous, very professional and helpful with suggestions/ideas. He was also a lot cheaper than some others who quoted. He was quick and efficient and even dismantled an old (no longer used) flue stack that was in danger of falling down - at no extra cost. He left us with a very smart looking storage space - and no mess!. I would definitely recommend him to anyone wanting this type of work doing.

Kelvin carried out work for us in November 2022, when he improved our level of loft insulation, replaced our boarding (and moved our existing flimsy boarding to make shelves), and installed a much-needed loft ladder. All work was done to schedule, he was friendly throughout, and tidied up thoroughly. However we recently had a fault develop on the loft ladder. After we provided photographic evidence (a reasonable request) Kelvin arranged for a replacement ladder, which was installed very promptly with the same courtesy. Certainly to be recommended.

The work was carried out on the date agreed, within the timescale originally quoted and without any variation to the scope or cost. Mr Lee was very polite, prepared the access and work area fully with dust sheets before starting any work, worked without a break and cleaned the the area completely upon completion including hovering the landing carpet. I was invited to inspect the completed work and how the hatch operated before Mr Lee loaded his equipment and departed. There was no evidence that he had been in the house save for the new hatch. We were very pleased with the finished product and would recommend this Company.

We contacted Access4Lofts for an initial quote and received a very speedy response and visit. We compared the quote to a number of others and found Acess4Lofts to be highly competitive and further more the team were very professional, friendly, punctual and took the time to discuss various options such as the type of boards to be used. We scheduled a date for the works, however, due to a sudden change in circumstances we requested it to be brought forward and Access4Lofts were very accommodating and we really appreciated this immensely! They protected our carpet and floors and there was not a single piece of debris or rubbish on the floors at the end of the job which was again great to see. We wanted a loft latch / ladder and boarding doing, when Kelvin came to quote he talked us through some options as the location of the hatch was in a small area and the existing hatch was quite small so would need to be expanded. Other traders had said it wasn't possible due to the location and suggested relocating the hatch to another room. Kelvin took his time measuring and assessing and confirmed he could do it. Quote arrived straight away. Once we confirmed, we had a date booked for within a few weeks. Kelvin was extremely professional and took great care in protecting the carpet and keeping the front door ajar whilst he was bringing materials/tools in and out from his van. He left the area very tidy afterwards and talked us through how to pull the ladder down etc. We are very pleased with Kelvin's work, the hatch is fitted very well and looks great from the outside. I wish all tradesmen were like Kelvin.

We were so impressed with Kevin Lee & the work he did for us in our loft. He was super professional in his manner & the way he worked (so protective & respectful of our home, laying down cloths to keep things clean & tidy before, during & after the job). He came on a Saturday which rerally helped us as we work from home in the week & couldn't afford the disruption. Kevin worked so hard to finish in a day. His detail & workmanship were exemplary. Kevin installed a new loft hatch & cover & fold-up step ladder & put in loft boards & shelving & dust preventing membranes around & above the new area. Great, timely and efficient service throughout. Kelvin is very polite, thorough and diligent in his work. He and his team were clear and punctual with their communication for both the quote and coming to carry out the work we had done, which was boarding of the loft and installation of a new ladder to the existing hatch. The work itself appears to be of high quality and just what we were looking for at an affordable price. My opinion is that if you live anywhere in the Milton Keynes area and are looking at boarding your loft to increase storage space, you should definitely give Access4lofts a call.

I had the loft cleared, a loft ladder installed, and further insulation put down. Kelvin arrived exactly when he said he would and completed the work in three hours. He was very careful to protect everything around the working environment, putting covers down on all the carpets. He cleaned up at the end of the job and left everything as he found it. He was very polite and helpful. He demonstrated how the ladder worked before he left. I was very happy with the whole service and thought it was good value for money.
