We would highly recommend this company. We had an excellent service from the initial consultation through to the fitting of our loft boards and ladder. The team were very professional, happy and helpful throughout. The office staff were brilliant, particularly Samantha, who couldn’t have been more helpful. Workmen arrived on time. Very polite. We had a wooden loft ladder and larger hatch installed. High quality product which was really well fitted and no mess. Highly recommended.

After the initial contact, I was impressed with all stages of the process: The understanding of our needs/requirements was excellent and the quotation was swiftly undertaken. The date for installation of new loft access, boarding and supplementary insulation was agreed and adhered to. The standard of work was high and the attitude of the personnel was exemplary. Overall this was a good value piece of work.

I'd had a few quotations from local businesses but had a niggle in the back of my head over their security as a business and would they be here for the long term. Warranties are no good if a company goes out of business. I arranged to have Access4Lofts to come around and survey my loft. They did a very thorough job and within a few weeks I was seeing the quality of their work first hand. The two guys who came to my house were highly professional, friendly and got straight on with the job. They care for my property laying down dustsheets from the front door up to their working area. It does help if you clear out the loft first and give them a good amount of working room else it is a lot of work for them to do and although they can do it, I prefer to let them get on with their work. I wanted to increase the insulation in my loft and so had them add 200mm of new insulation over the old (why remove it, it is doing a job) and add stand off boarding for approx 16sqmm of the 60sqmm loft space. They were fantastic and I can only recommend them to anyone who needs loft work done. NO corners cut, good quality of work, through knowledge of their skill base and totally professional from start to finish. Pricing was reasonable and the work done quickly and with the utmost efficiency. A definite recommendation from me.

My wife and I decided we wanted to part board our loft and add a loft ladder. Paul from Access4 lofts came and looked at the work required and suggested a couple of add one, like refreshing our loft insulation, some lights and shelving in addition to the boarding and ladder. He said he would provide a full breakdown of the costs and we were free to choose the bits we wanted doing. There was no pressure selling and he was very professional. He duly supplied an estimate with a price for each part of the work he could provide. As my wife and I had discussed a budget priory to the quote arriving, we were pleasantly surprised that we could have everything we had planned and more so we promptly rang Paul and agreed a date for the work to be done. On 19th May, as agreed the workman arrived, covered all our furnishings and promptly set to work. 8 hours later everything we had asked for was in place and it is amazing. Afterwards we both said we wished we had done this sooner as our loft is now accessible and usable. Would thoroughly recommend this company. Well done and thank you.

The installer arrived on time, completed the work to our satisfaction. The price quoted was what we paid no hidden extras added when sent the invoice. Overall a very satisfactory job.

After an initial blip awaiting the quote, I am pleased to say that I’m happy with the work Paul and Jamal carried out in my loft. This involved removing the boards, adding to the existing insulation, then replacing the boards. As my house is a chalet or dormer bungalow, it’s quite awkward to move in the loft because there’s no room to stand; crawling and crouching only. Paul found items that ought not to have been left under the boards by a previous tradesperson, and duly removed them! Also, Paul very helpfully fixed something else in the loft, and Jamal equally helpfully suggested and installed an additional light in the part of the loft where I have previously needed a lantern. The price paid was slightly less than the quote, because fewer materials were required than originally anticipated. They were punctual, friendly, professional and efficient, and I have already arranged for them to do some work on my loft hatch in the near future.
