Thursday and Friday 4th and 5th September 2025: Once again Terry and his team were outstanding. They ensured the right fence colour was sourced in spite of local diy store being out of stock. .😊 All debris including from the gutters was removed. They are always very tidy brushing up messes. They also adhered to my request to wait till the 2nd day to paint the cillls as the gardener was still to come Even the utility meter doors were freshened up. Terry and the guys are always very courteous and willing to assist with tasks outwith their profession. Ace Decor is always very good value. I am delighted to have the house appearance looking so smart before the Winter!

Terry repainted our small kitchen in the West End. This was simply the walls and woodwork. Everything was completed quickly and accurately; all in slightly over half a day. Sean was very pleasant to work with and very tidy. Arranging the job with Terry was easy, and he was very clear about the different options and covered all the details. He kept us up to date as we waited for him to have an available day. We also felt that the price was very fair. Thanks to you both.

Terry was absolutely brilliant. We had a property a bit further out from the main city but he was more than happy to come and travel to us. His quote was well priced, and he did a fantastic job of organising any other tradespeople we needed to complete other jobs on the property. The work was completed to a high standard and on time, and I look forward to using him again.

In April 2024 I switched to electric central heating. The replacement radiators are not as wide as the gas ones were. Fortunately, I had retained the cans of paint left by Terry and his team on 2 previous occasions so there was no problem for the bare surrounds to be painted. I am delighted also with the 2 rooms which were wallpapered as years since that happened and a real transformation and cosy too as we head into Winter. All work was completed in 3 days. This was the 4th visit by Ace Decor and each painter completes tasks to a very high standard. I definitely recommend Ace Decor Glasgow Ltd as they are very reliable and excellent timekeepers! Brought in to paint the whole house (top to bottom) which included a significant amount of plastering and wallpaper removal. Terry was approachable, reassuring and offered great advice putting two new home owners at ease. His team were efficient, friendly, trustworthy and reliable. We were delighted with the finish and the quality of the job. We would recommend Ace Decor!

After getting internal insulation in 4 rooms in my house the walls were back to bare plaster with a lot of gaps and the new woodwork had not been prepared for painting. Terry came round promptly when contacted and gave a quote for the 4 rooms which was lower than any other quotes I had received. He gave me a detailed description of what he would do including using knotting solution on the new untreated woodwork and filling all the plaster gaps. Terry and his team turned up on time the day they said they would start and did a great job. With new plaster walls they needed a few coats of emulsion but they were all finished to a high standard as was the paint on the woodwork. The 4 rooms one of which was a large room with back and front windows were all completed in 3 days with minimum disruption. The team were all very helpful and polite and I am happy to recommend them. I will certainly be contacting them again when I need other parts of the house decorated.

the guys were here to do the downstairs hall, stairway and upper landing, including doors and surrounds. they were always on time, friendly and worked speedily without leaving any mess. they did a really good job and the work was completed on time and to budget. very helpful and would definitely use again.

We are very happy with the work Terry and his team did for us. He was quick to respond, very helpful and organised everything for us. We had three quite large rooms painted and decorated, involving some wallpaper stripping and getting a plasterer for one of the ceilings. It was not a totally straightforward task overall but that was not a problem for them. Excellent quality of work. Fair price. They were punctual, courteous, friendly and conscientious. We were kept informed of progress and schedule throughout. Everything was discussed and explained clearly. We will definitely be using Terry and Ace Decor again.

Terry and his team painted the exterior of my house – the house now looks really smart. Terry provided good communication from his initial visit and discussion about the scope of work, to the quotation and work scheduling. The team arrived promptly each day; they were clearly used to working together and were very organised and professional. Terry was patient when I dithered and worried over what to do with the wooden shingles on the front of the house. He provided good advice and appreciated how important it was to me that this part of the work was "right", I am so happy with the end result which looks really great - just what I had in mind. I would not hesitate to recommend Terry and his team who were all so hard working, friendly and helpful. In summary most certainly ace.

Painted my 2 bedroom flat to a high standard, which I'm very happy with. What I am most impressed by is the attitude Terry and his team have, they go above and beyond what is required. Terry is more like a Project Manager than a Painter, he makes it happen, organises other trades that are needed and gives sound advice. He is present and sees the big picture.

We were getting several rooms painted and wallpaper in one. Terry kept in touch before the work started and his team were friendly and efficient as well as keeping things tidy as we had our 4-year-old running around! The work was carried out in the agreed time and was finished to a high standard. It was done to the agreed quote and the communication between us and the team meant we knew what was happening and when. Would highly recommend their work.

This is the second job that Terry has done for me and I am expecting him to do another job again soon. I am very pleased with all the work that he has done. I was looking for a good painter and decorator and Terry was recommended to me by a friend. I found him to be very professional. The jobs were done quickly and to the agreed budget and to a high standard. The first job was in my own home and the second job was decorating a rental flat to get it ready to put on the market. I wouldn't hesitate to use Terry and his team again. Terry and his nephew were friendly, hardworking, trustworthy and helpful.

We found Terry’s Ace Decor on Which Trusted Traders and found them to be a very good choice. The job was interior large hall lounge bathrooms 2-3 men over 4 days. They were friendly professional arrived promptly 8-15 every day They worked away with no delays They did good pre painting preps of filling gaps and holes ensuring a good finished look. Requests to fill and paint additional screw holes next day was no problem. They protected furniture and carpets well with no spots or spillages. The cost was reasonable and there were no unexpected add ins. We will be using Terry and his team again and would recommend them to others with no hesitation. Thank you Ace Decor-good job!

Terry was quick to respond to our enquiry, with a reasonable estimate of the work to be done - painting 8 external windows on three floors, replacing mastic and two rotten sills. He kept us informed during three months waiting for decent weather and arranging for scaffolding and mastic work. His team, Sean in particular, were very professional and worked to a high standard. We trusted Terry’s advice on aspects of the job and were very pleased with the result. There were no surprises in the final bill. Engaging Ace Decor was a very satisfactory experience. I contacted Terry from Which? Trusted Traders and got a prompt reply and quote. The Ace decor team painted my kitchen, living room and hall to a high standard and agreed to add in the bathroom at short notice. They were extremely accommodating and helpful when an electrician arrived to deal with extractor fan issues and unexpectedly had to drill some holes in the bathroom walls which they promptly repaired and painted over. Terry, Mick and Sean were very professional and eager to ensure everything was done to my satisfaction. I’ve now arranged for them to return to paint my bedrooms.

Terry and his team painted my living room, hallway, stairs and landing. He visited beforehand to assess the job and give me a quote. Normally I leave home improvements to others in the household so my knowledge of what would be needed to give the place a face-lift it needed was zero. Terry was very helpful in every way making suggestions on colours that would fit in with the other changes I was making. Things like getting swatches of the sofa that was on order and advice on feature walls. He even recommended a carpet dealer. He recommended the type of paint to use that would stand up to the test of having a dog in the house. Because Terry had invested the time with me beforehand it put me at ease when he, Sean and Mick started the job. The job was completed ahead of schedule and to the agreed budget which was very reasonable. The two days spent in their company were a pleasure. It's a month now since the job was completed and each day I admire and appreciate what a great job they have done. Not only in the immaculate standard achieved but how well the colours fit in with the other improvements I have made thanks to the advice offered. Have already made plans for Terry to do the same for the bedrooms.

This was the fourth occasion we have used Ace Decor, which shows how satisfied we are with this company. This time Terry and team decorated two rooms for us - lounge and dining room - both badly in need of redecoration. Communication was straightforward. Terry visited and advised and sent us a price within 24 hours. The decorators arrived at the agreed date and time, bringing the materials with them and the work was completed efficiently and to a high standard, and a good clear-up job was done before they left. We would highly recommend Terry and his team at Ace Decor who did a fantastic job repainting our living room. Terry’s communication and reliability was excellent, including keeping us updated with the timescale and managing to fit the job in at relatively short notice before the arrival of our second child. We have an old house with the living room ceiling and walls not in great condition. We were impressed with the attention to detail to achieve a great finish. Having had a poor experience with other decorators in the past, we will definitely be calling on Terry and the team for our next job. Couldn’t recommend more highly!
