After having a couple of quotes from big named companies I thought I`d give a local business a chance and it was the best decision I made. After speaking with Lucy she knocked me up some systems and after a few phone calls and a fair few emails and a chat with Matt who come and done my survey I finally settled on a 20 panel system with a Powerwall 3 and expansion pack. The team in the office couldn't of been more helpful (Lucy and Alicia) I need to also add there were zero pushy tactics which is a major plus for me. Lucy arranged the scaffolding to go up on the Monday the lads were great even fixed my gutter for me when the scaffolding come down then the team came the next day to start the installation the work from the lads was superb very neat and tidy the lads on the roof even cleaned the moss off my roof and cleaned my gutters everything was done and dusted by 2 o'clock on the Wednesday and the scaffolding came down on the Friday happy days and all my documents came through within the week. I can`t recommend this company enough the whole team were brilliant above and beyond thank you.

I had our Solar Panels fitted some 10years ago by Ace Solar. A few weeks ago the unit stopped working, I rang Ace Solar and they sent out a engineer the following day. The fault was the Inverter, this had a 10year warranty but was out of date by 4/5 months. They contacted the supplier who agreed with Solar Ace to replace the unit F-O-C. The day after Ace Solar received the unit they fitted it at no cost to me and infact did some extra cabling to improve my WiFi connection. It is such a pleasure to deal with a company that takes customer PR seriously. All the staff I delt with were friendly and professional. In my book you could not find a better company for your Solar fitment.

Ace Solar from Wolverhampton recently installed a compete Solar PV system to my property, that is a 14 panel Aiko array to the roof, a 5kW inverter, a 5kW battery and an EV charger, all of these three items were manufactured by GivEnergy – I have nothing but praise for the way in which my enquiry, subsequent questions, installation, commissioning and ongoing support has been dealt with. I initially went to 3 local companies to enquire about a Solar PV Installation – I wanted to support local businesses, use direct labour from a local company, rather than suffer subcontractors often employed by larger national establishments, and I felt that local companies should be immediately ‘to hand’ if something goes wrong. From the very beginning, Ace Solar stood out; Lucy, Alicia and Tracey were all friendly, professional, knowledgeable and timely with looking at the different options available and answering all of my questions throughout the process. The installation team, including Matt, Will and Dale were again timely, professional and friendly, so too were they extremely neat with the installation (The only minor point being that the labelling of the installation was initially forgotten at installation). The commissioning all went without a hitch and the system has been working exactly as it was designed to, since commissioning. All documentation, ongoing support and certification has been received in a timely manner and the Final Invoice exactly as the agreed Quotation.

Ace Solar Energy did a fantastic job with our solar panel installation. The team was professional, efficient, and explained everything clearly. What really impressed me was their aftercare – they followed up to ensure everything was working perfectly and answered all our questions. Highly recommended!

The whole process, from initial email contact with ACE to the final installation of the system, took just over a month which we considered to be very swift. Throughout we were impressed by the professionalism and courtesy of all the staff with whom we dealt. In particular, the fitters deserve special praise for managing successfully to install 14 panels in pouring rain. Staff were also very patient in answering our many questions about the system and how it all worked. They also helped us to download the GiveEnergy app and briefed us on how to use it. All in all, the whole process was as seamless and pain-free as such an extensive installation can ever be and, so far, we are very pleased with our system and its operation.

From start to finish, the whole team at ace were a pleasure to deal with, Lucy &. Tracey put up with my countless questions, and multiple changes to my spec. They helped educate and advise me during my solar journey. Then Matt, Mark and the team did an outstanding job with the actual installation. A+++ 5* - they were polite, cleaned up everything, ensured I was 100% happy with everything, and even spent time trying to help me with the home assistant connection. I would have no problem recommending them to my best friend, that’s how good they were. 10 out of 10 in my book.

We have just had solar panels, battery and EV charger installed by Ace Solar. They have been an excellent company to deal with. The quotation we were given was the price that we paid. The installers have been efficient and friendly and the standard of work has been exemplary. Also, the support we have received from an administrative point of view has been above and beyond what we would normally expect. We would not hesitate to recommend Ace Solar to anybody considering having this type of work done

I was recommended Ace Electrical by a local friend who had no hesitation in singing their praises. I was not disappointed. Every time I rang or emailed, my enquiry was immediately answered. I wanted to buy a battery, (I already had Solar Panels). The process was very thorough. We looked at several options. All were applied for from the National Grid and I ended up buying the biggest battery I was allowed to install. My wife and I both drive electric cars, so I use the Octopus Intelligent Go Tariff. I fill the battery with electricity during the night hours at currently 8p/KW (includes the VAT), and use it during the day. This is a considerable saving. Lucy in the office was patient, polite and extremely knowledgeable. The installation team were also very efficient. To date, all has worked as it should. I am delighted and will recommend Ace Electrical to everybody who asks.

This is the second time that we have used Ace for our solar panels and battery. The price was very reasonable. They asked if they could come a week early which was very convenient to us. They could not have been more careful and considerate. All final documentation has been received and the system is working perfectly. I would not hesitate in employing them again.

Over 6 months on and still working without any problems. They were recommended by colleagues at work. Amazing service from enquiry to completion. My initial enquiry was answered by Lucy and there's a person with a LOT of patience, I must have asked around 50 questions through about 25 emails (and some calls) and not once did I feel like I was being a bother (or an idiot!) as she answered questions, proposed alternatives or sought advice from colleagues for a few of my more technical questions. Martin (the boss) came out and did the survey, also speaking to the electrician who was just about to rewire the whole house to make sure everything would be suitable. Having decided on the solar panels, inverter and batteries (+ a free EV charger due to a GivEnergy promotion) a date was agreed. As I was having a chimney removed prior to the panels going up Lucy arranged for the scaffolding to go up early, saving me having to pay extra for the chimney scaffolding (much appreciated). On the 1st day of installation 3 vans with 6 guys pulled up a little after 9am and by 4pm had installed everything apart from a few panels and on day two 4 of the original 6 guys reappeared, fitted the final panels and the bird protection, wired it all together, tested everything and explained what did what (and what shouldn't be touched!) and then by they were gone. Matt (the team leader), Will the main "sparks" and everyone else were all great and a credit to the company. I always do thorough research on anything that's costing me a significant amount of money and Ace Solar passed with flying colours.

I have waited a few months before submitting a review and feel now is the right time. I would highly recommend ACE solar. I had got a quote approximately 3 years earlier but couldn't move forward due to family commitments. The next quote I received was pretty much the same with better quality panels, better inverter and battery. They spent time to explain the system with pros and cons thoroughly and in language that I understood. I felt confident as a result to make an informed decision. The team fitted the whole system in less than a day. Turned up on time, cleaned up, worked well together. The only neutral point I would make is that in practice I should have fitted the solar system before my heat pump and Mixergy tank. They were not experienced in the Mixergy system and I required Mixergy to come out and diagnose the issue. It was simply fixed. I would recommend ACE Solar. They are helpful, straightforward, keen on price. I would want to use them on any future electrical work I have coming up soon and I am definitely thinking about installing a car charger and further battery in the coming 24 months.

Can’t recommend Ace highly enough. From the first interaction to the completion of the work; it was a pleasure to deal with them. They’ll be the first and only ones I’ll be contacting when I need an EV charger or any further work for that matter. If you need anything Solar/electrical wise; look no further!

From start to the finish i found Ace Solar's service without fault. From submitting my initial enquiry i received very friendly and warm emails, and responses to my many many questions all without hesitation. All technical queries were answered within 24 hours with a full and clear explanation which really helped to steer my decision in choosing Ace Solar. The team were very helpful with determining the type and size of system to install and are very open with you with regard expectations. The installation itself arrived at the agreed date/time and the guys got straight to it, you almost forgot they were there as they are very self sufficient. The most professional installers i have encountered in a long time. Fast forward a few days and in the final stages of the job, they again, patiently explained the system, how it worked, and how to use the app. They talked about how to get the best from the system and more importantly how to get hold of them if there are any issues. They showed me the work they had carried out and again you could tell how passionate they were and the care they had put into the job. Jobsite was very clean and the work finished to a high level. Very much a top quality job and stellar service from Ace Solar and the team who i have corresponded with by email/telephone and face to face.

From the moment I first reached out for a quote, through to today and receipt of all relevant warranties and certificates; Tracey and the team have been outstanding. I diligently and carefully got 10 different quotes. Each time I intentionally acted naive and uninformed on the technology and installation process. This was done to test the expertise of the team, reliably of their claims and the validity of the proposed set up and implementation. Ace… Aced it. There was a long gap (6~ months) between the initial quote and installation, this was due to some personal issues on my side. Despite my fluctuating schedule and response times, Ace remained professional and personal throughout, going above and beyond what a business can reasonably be expected to do. The installation itself was completed on time, my property both inside and out was left tidy and clean; the equipment and tech was thoroughly explained and walked through, and the follow up communication to check everything is going ok, passing certs etc. have been both timely and professional. Honestly, it’s difficult to ask for anything more from Ace, they are the exact kind of company a customer could want to work with. On a final note; I have an EV and work from home, so have high energy usage. Despite this, I cannot possibly use the amount of energy being generated (granted, it’s May). It’s early days but is already proving to be an excellent investment, and I’m pleased to know I’m doing my bit for the planet.

I was looking to install a solar and battery system to make the house more eco-friendly, and to reduce reliance on the volatile electricity provider market. I talked with multiple suppliers - national and local. All of whom produced similar proposals with similar quotes. The problem I found with the national providers was a lack of in-depth knowledge and expertise, as well as a reliance on sub-contractors to install. Based on a recommendation I talked with Ace, and from that first engagement they have proven to be experts in the field, great at communication and quick to resolve issues. Their design team knew the market very well, and were able to provide very balanced and informed answers to the many questions I had related to product choice / capacity. The installation team were professional, courteous, clean and quick. Their communication was excellent, making sure any schedule changes were given with good notice. Ace clearly want satisfied customers, demonstrated in their aftercare - I had a few cracked tiles as a result of the scaffolding installation - Ace had it resolved quickly and efficiently, with no overhead / hassle to me. Really pleased I chose Ace, and would highly recommend them.

I first contacted Ace earlier in the year to obtain a quote. I personally wanted to use a local company and found Ace in Wolverhampton. I initially spoke with Lucy who I found very polite and professional to gauge when they could commence installation. Their project manager arranged a site visit to ensure everything could be installed as we wanted. The install date was set ‘literally a week later’ the installation team arrived and installed 14 no panels, inverter and battery all in one day. The next day the team arrived completed the wiring, testing and commissioning and were finished by lunch time. Good friendly crew with a good experience from start to finish. Make sure you have tea bags and biscuits 😀

Had ACE solar energy recommended to myself after seeing one of their installations at a customers house. I decided to reach out through their website and found the process flawless in respects of efficiency and communication, just could not fault the service. From within 3 weeks of opening their website i had a 9KW solar array on my roof! They do not mess around and deliver. As for the quality of the products after research i found that the solar system i have on my property is one if not the best on the market, British manufacturing company, i have found it performs well and also looks great! The system also come with an app for your phone to review the systems performance at any time of the day along with a desktop version that gives you boat loads of information to get you geek on! Oh the system is GivEnergy ;) The installation team were again very efficient and really nice lads and the quality of work is of a very good standard, it did not take them long to get the system in and work with you on questions you may have. The handover was very clear and full of tips to get the most out of your system. Any administration questions you have about the process, paperwork and your energy supplier meaning switching to export tariffs were answered and knowledge was great. I have already recommended ACE solar to 2 of my colleagues and they have/are getting their solar system through ACE solar. To summarise, i can not fault this company and will always recommend them.

Ace Energy were fantastic, from the first time they quoted until they finished the job. Very professional, clean and tidy with a great team. They turned up when they said they would and finished the job on time with very little disruption to myself, my team and most importantly my customers. I would highly recommend them.

The office staff were great, helpful and always replied in full and on time. Accounts were always correct and clear. However, the guys that fit it are not the greatest. There was shading from a tv ariel which they didnt mention when the scaff was up and had to be removed later. Some panels were better off moved out of shading from a chimney. Some panels had to be moved out of the shading from each other!! I even had to sign a disclaimer to get what I wanted, -''as many panels as possible'', on the rooves. Its been absolutely excellent ever since they came back to do the adjustments. They also, but only when asked, fitted optimisers to maximise the shaded panels. I should have researched and checked everything before the scaff was taken down as it only had to be put back up again.

Fantastic company to deal with from quotes to installation. I had quite a few quotes from various companies who all gave different information and prices. Ace Solar were friendly and professional at all times. I was never rushed for a decision and never felt I was being conned (like several others). Once the contract was agreed the fitting team came on time, were professional and polite. They informed me of everything they were doing, including problems as they arose. They checked that I was happy with them and made me feel relaxed. They left no mess when they finished. The office staff were friendly and kept me informed via calls and emails. Documents were sent in one email and advice was provided on my energy tariff. They were the only company I contacted directly and this was due to them being a Which Trusted Trader and local to us. I am really happy that I chose them and totally recommend this company for Solar installations.

Ace Solar Energy were recommended to me by a friend. From first contact they were very knowledgeable and helpful. They offered the same equipment as Octopus but at a much more competitive price and shorter delivery time. The installation team were very flexible to my needs, and very helpful. They arrived on time, and worked tidily. There was a software problem with the inverter, and they helped to resolve it with the manufacturer very quickly. Lucy was especially helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Highly recommended.

I made initial contact with Ace solar around Feb 23 but deliberately delayed a review so i could also say how my system has performed. When i first contacted Ace solar i spoke with Lucy and Tracey who were super efficient and were happy to deal with all my queries, Once a design/spec had been agreed i was given an approx install date around end of may 23. After previously speaking with other companies who were quoting me over 6 months for installation i thought 10-12 weeks at the time was very reasonable. (At the time electricity prices were going up and solar panels were in high demand) The whole system was fitted over nearly 2 days as agreed at time of order due to the amount of panels installed over 3 different roofs. The installation was carried out to a high standard and the fitters worked in polite and professional manner, answering any questions i had. My property was left exactly as they found it and all waste materials were cleared from site. The system has been working great with no issues. I had transferred to one of octopus’s tariffs which enables me to charge my batteries at a low rate and use the power throughout the day and from june til august 23 we didnt pay for any electric. I cannot recommend this company enough. From 1st contact they were excellent throughout the whole experience and i really cannot find fault with any part of the service they have provided. I will definitely use Ace solar for any future projects.

1,500 characters simply aren't enough to give a comprehensive account of just how impressed I have been with my experience with Ace Solar Energy. Having been reached out to by Tracey on a solar page on social media, the more I looked into this company the more I was impressed by everything I had seen. I was then contacted by Lucy after putting in my initial interest form on their website, who has been putting up with my quite frankly relentless emails with a variety of questions and requests for the past month! Nevertheless, Lucy has been an absolute star, and very clearly knows the ins and outs of what makes for excellent customer service. This has been matched by a solid installation, by a team that could be nothing less than masters at what they do, as the proof is in the pudding, as shown in both the quality of their work and their obvious passion for their profession. Not only did Matt and his installation team smash out the job (12 panels split over two aspects, plus a GivEnergy 5kW inverter and 5.2kWh battery) in just a day, but they enthusiastically answered my questions all day long whilst getting on with it. Even when it meant putting in a bit of overtime, the fellas refused to leave until the job was done. They even cleared out my guttering and put on some silicone in places where I was certain some water had been getting in since we bought our house a year ago (at no additional charge too)! I'll make the choice easy for you, choose Ace Solar Energy!!

I am extremely happy with both the system and the whole sales / installation wirk carried out by Ace solar. The pre-sales work was great from a competitive quotation, selection of equipment and detailed payback estimates. I particularly liked the fact that there was no pushy selling - the pace was dicated by us. I visited Ace's offices and the system was explained and demonstrated - they have an inverter / battery installation installed that can be viewed. The installation was faultless. Everything happened on the planned dates and the team were professional and worked hard. All of the work is neat and there has been a degree of future proofing / redundancy built in. All of the certification has followed within the timescales specified and so far it is working brilliantly. I would highly recommend Ace Solar - this is probably the best experience I have had with any major work to my house! Well done.
