Ace Solar Energy have been trading in renewable energy since 2010. In this time, we have installed hundreds of Solar PV systems to both residential and commercial properties across the wider Midlands network, surpassing many other installers who have since ceased trading.
We gain much of our business from recommendations and correcting the work of installers who are no longer operating, as such we welcome the opportunity to provide you with a free no obligation quotation for Solar PV installation at your property.

Martin and his team installed Solar panels and battery system to a high stander always clean and tidy and showed respect for the property during the installation. Fitted a super solar and battery system. Equipment fully commissioned by Martin in conjunction with the manufacturers of the equipment. The office support for the registration and certification of our solar system was handled very professionally which was an important part of the service and installation. Anyone thinking of having Solar panels and battery system fitted, ACE would be my first recommendation without hesitation. First class service from ACE on price and customer service. Martin fitted a Zappi charger for my EV. From start to finish the whole process was without fault. No problems ordering and fitting. Everything was done on time and with ease. An outstanding, helpful & trustworthy company! I had a fault on my solar system & had two other experienced people check the system out & they could not find the problem, leaving me with only one option, to have a new system (inverter) fitted. Ace Electrical quoted me a replacement price. The following day they arrived to install the part but first checked my old system out & found they were able to repair it, saving me nearly £800! That’s real honesty, as I was prepared to pay for a new part and installation.

The pre-sales consultancy was excellent and the solar panels, inverter and car charger installation was fully completed on the dates agreed. The equipment was fitted and fully tested with no fuss in a helpful manor fully explaining the operation. The site was left clean and tidy. Certification and competition documentation was provided in a timely manor all meeting the agreed cost. After care and ongoing support have been excellent with inverter and Zappi firmware updates successfully completed.

Having already had one property fitted with Electric Solar Panels some 5 years ago we had no hesitation in using Ace Solar on our new house. Both systems were installed to a very high standard and would have no hesitation to recommend Ace Solar for there professional approach to their work. The technical ability, installation and friendliness was excellent. Whilst the technology had moved forward during the 5 years this was clear with our new system. The calculations and estimations provided for the output from the systems was very accurate in fact we have produced slightly better than predicted. There service of quoting and after sales is excellent.

Ace Electrical supplied and installed approx 450 Solar panels to our factory roof . They had to work to tight deadlines to get the contract completed by the end of March. As with most projects problems occurred along the way but Ace did everything to solve these issues and get the work completed on time . They helped us each step of the way submitting the appropriate paperwork for the FIT and the after service has been superb. No hesitation in recommending the company for future contracts.

This is the second time we have used Ace Solar on both occasions the job has been completed in a professional manner. What we were told is exactly what we got without any fuss or frustration. Did the job when they said it would be done and the work was very neat and tidy. On this occasion as it was a new property the panels were let into the roof and look as though they were fitted at the same time as the house was built All paperwork, certificates, guarantees, etc. supplied without asking. Martin from Ace Electrical fitted a Myenergie Zappi electric vehicle charger with an 8 meter fixed charge cable at my house for a good price and at the time and day agreed. The installation was neat and the charger worked following its installation. The site was tidied up on the completion of the work. When I found the garage door would not shut due to a cable run conflict Martin returned the same day to fix the issue. Once I started using the charger it was apparent that the display did not show the solar element of the charge. Martin returned within a few days and reset the appropriate sensor. Following this I configured the appropriate settings on the charger set up screen and now the display shows both the power imported from the grid and the power that comes from my solar panels. Tracey in the office kept me well informed throughout the process.

I was most impressed with the professionalism of Ace Solar Energy from the first meeting with Martin who explained how everything would work in a language that I could understand and made no wild claims. He checked out the side of the panels, the access to the loft and where to position the inverter and suggested several alternatives for me to consider. Having agreed where everything should go he came back a few days later with recommendations for several systems that would suit my requirements. There was no pressure or hard sell, just good advice. A national solar company that I had a quote from made no inspection of the site of the panels etc. just ticked boxes on a laptop and came up with a price on the spot that was £2500 higher than Ace Solar Energy for exactly the same system. The two installers who fitted the system did a great job. They were efficient, tidy and carried on working despite some heavy rain. Finally, the paperwork - and there is a lot - was all done by Martin's people and the whole installation went very smoothly. I would definitely recommend that you contact them if you are considering a solar installation.
