I am John Kilkenny t/a Advanced Clean. I was awarded the 2012 Which? Local National Business of the Year, this has now become Which Trusted Trader, for my professional, value for money service and for giving my customers the best possible cleaning results. Since then I have received nearly 400 first class reviews on the trustedtrader.which.co.uk site. I also have nearly 400 first class reviews on Checkatrade.com This is something that I take great pride in that customers actually take time and effort to post a review for the quality of service that I provide. I cover most of North, North West and North East London, extending into South Hertfordshire and bordering Essex
I will usually call and give you a no obligation, free quotation. However sometimes it is something I can do over the phone especially if distance is involved I can offer an estimate and if this is accepted I will measure on arrival and give a firm price.

John cleaned our carpets and upholstery a few years ago so, when we recently had a badly stained carpet, we had no hesitation in asking him back. As before he did an excellent job. He removed all the stains and also made some old rugs look brighter and fresher. John is pleasant to have in the house and doesn't make promises he can't keep.

I did not like the cleaning of my carpet. The main purpose to hire Advanced clean is to get rid of stains. Unfortunately, it is not up to the mark, as mentioned in most of the reviews. Nothing much changed with the looks of carpet, lots of dark patches visible. It was not quite impressive for the price of £125 to clean the area of the living room and the passage.

John has cleaned our fitted carpets, rugs and a sofa twice. On both occasions he turned up promptly and worked hard to complete the job in a day. He explains what is achievable (eg dark marks on fitted carpets around skirting boards are pretty much permanent), uses quality products and does a great job. He's also a pleasure to have around, with a good sideline in conversation. His charges seem reasonable and there are no hidden extras.

John was extremely helpful and informative throughout the process. The carpet had suffered a bad stain as a result of a roof leak and he explained that whilst he would do his best to remove the stain, he could not offer any guarantees. He also explained in detail how he would treat the stain as well as the remainder of the carpet. In fact, he managed to almost completely remove the stain (you would only know of its existence if you had seen it before) and the rest of the carpet looks like new. I would thoroughly recommend John.

Advanced Clean are very easy to deal with. John Kilkenny responded quickly to our initial enquire and quoted promptly. The work was carried out quickly and as agreed. The results of our carpet cleaning are very good. There was very little disruption and the carpets were left only slightly damp and dried out quickly. From first enquiry to job completion, John’s customer care has been exemplary. He was very prompt to respond, was honest in terms of what he could and perhaps more importantly, may not be able to do. Establishing a mutually convenient date for the works was simple and, he arrived punctually on the day. John then worked industriously for hours. I have to say, notwithstanding the ongoing challenge of two dogs and cream carpets, we’re delighted with the end result. I would highly recommend John and Advanced Cleaning. We will be using John again.

John cleaned 4 armchairs, a stool, a chest & a leather settee. He arrived on time & worked hard, paying attention to an old tea stain, which I now can't see at all, so he worked wonders. He rubbed leather feed into the settee. Everything looks clean & brighter. John replied promptly to my first enquiry & was easy to negotiate with prior to the appointment. He was a friendly presence in the house.
