I am John Kilkenny t/a Advanced Clean. I was awarded the 2012 Which? Local National Business of the Year, this has now become Which Trusted Trader, for my professional, value for money service and for giving my customers the best possible cleaning results. Since then I have received nearly 400 first class reviews on the trustedtrader.which.co.uk site. I also have nearly 400 first class reviews on Checkatrade.com This is something that I take great pride in that customers actually take time and effort to post a review for the quality of service that I provide. I cover most of North, North West and North East London, extending into South Hertfordshire and bordering Essex
I will usually call and give you a no obligation, free quotation. However sometimes it is something I can do over the phone especially if distance is involved I can offer an estimate and if this is accepted I will measure on arrival and give a firm price.

I have known John for a few years as he used to clean the carpets of my work place. This is the second time he has cleaned carpets for me personally, hall and dining room, bedroom and three flights of stairs and landings. I was concerned about a few stains of dubious origin, but after careful examination and testing John found the right treatments and all were successfully removed. All the carpets including the 20 year old dining room carpet looked clean, fresh and came up looking virtually new. He is a polite, careful and considerate worker. I have no hesitation in recommending him.

John was recommended to me by a neighbour who has used his service on many occasions and always been highly satisfied. I have to endorse her recommendation as John did a very professional job on 2 very challenging carpets. He managed to remove some marks of unknown origin from the hall carpet and restored the badly stained living room one to a much more respectable appearance. He was friendly, courteous, quick and efficient. I would definitely use him again without hesitation.

It is the 2nd time I have asked John to clean my carpets. He cleaned 3 bedrooms, the runner on the stairs and 2 rugs. As was the case the first time round, he was very polite, friendly and professional and cleaned all my carpets to an exceptionally high standard. I couldn't recommend him highly enough and will not go to anyone else!!

Contacted John for quote to clean 2 x sofas and footstool which were looking very grubby. John asked for photos and then provided quote in writing. Great communication all the way through. On the day, John arrived on time and explained what he would be doing. He kept me updated as the cleaning was progressing and checked that I was happy with the work at the end. John cleaned my furniture to a high standard and was clean and tidy throughout. I am happy to recommend John.

I am really pleased with the service John provided. He visited my house the morning after I contacted him, assessed the job and undertook to do it later the same day. I had a badly-stained light-coloured living room carpet and he did a terrific job on it. John is friendly and considerate and happy to explain his procedures. He is also very reasonably priced. Brilliant 5 star service received by John at Advanced Cleaning. Extremely reliable, in fact this time he arrived an hour after me calling. This is the second time I’ve used him and both times he has offered a thorough, effective clean at a fair price. He gives an honest opinion on how effective the clean will be before the clean starts. Both jobs were for my elderly parents with advanced dementia and John was very kind with dealing with them. Old school service I thoroughly recommend

We used John recently to freshen up some sofas, foot rests and a rug. Throughout the process, John was responsive, reliable and did wonderful work. We were very happy with the outcome. He took great care of our property throughout. It is a sad reflection on today that finding a reliable contractor to respond to a request, follow up efficiently, and do good work at a good price has become a rarity. John is a very welcome exception to this (as can be clearly seen by the number of outstanding reviews on this site). Thanks John!

We contacted John based on his Which? Trusted Trader status and excellent reviews. He was very prompt to respond to our initial enquiry and to call round to review the job and provide a quotation to clean our carpet in the living/dining room, stairs and landing.He was also very flexible in accommodating our preferred date for the works to be carried out. He kept in regular contact during the week leading up to the work and he arrived very promptly on the day and ultimately, and most importantly, delivered an excellent job in a quick, courteous and friendly manner. It had been a good few years since we had this done but our carpets look like new and we will certainly be calling on him again when we next need our carpets cleaned and so we would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for this service.

Impressive job
I contacted John as I had see his name recommended a few times on a local neighbour area forum. He came to view the job and was very detailed about what he could do. He offered a range of wet and dry cleaning , the latter being more suitable for some of the more delicate rugs. He was very punctual, has all the top range equipment and is a really cheerful, friendly chap. Not a bad price either. I will be recommending him to my neighbours !

John Kilkenny provides an excellent professional service. He is very thorough and the results are first class. There are cheaper alternatives but, in my opinion they are not as good. In addition to some rooms of carpet, John also cleaned a couple of sofas which I though were a "hopeless case" but the result was fantastic. I would have no hesitation on using John again

Having used John before to clean carpets, I had no hesitation in calling him in again. As usual he did a wonderful job restoring my hall, stairs and landings back to their original colour and freshness, after having some messy work carried out. He is very respectful of his surroundings, and makes sure everything is protected before he commences on any cleaning. I would recommend him, no problem.

John came to my house to give me a quote for my carpets. He kept me posted as to when he would arrive and was very friendly, explaining the process and what to expect. I went with him as he seemed like a great and trustworthy guy who knew his stuff. My carpets are now as clean as they possibly can be with my long hair and a long-haired cat! Now my house feels much cleaner and fresher.

I needed help with a move out clean. John assessed the problem, asked a lot of questions to understand stain sources, explained his cleaning process, and set expectations about likely results. On cleaning day he walked me through the plan, described materials, and got straight to work. He gave regular progress reports and thoroughly explained options for tackling tough stains. John's meticulous and diligent and very easy to work with. I wouldn't hesitate to phone him again.
