Very happy with the work done. Neat and tidy. Communication was clear about the project, timings, costs etc. Tony had been to our house once previously to undertake several smaller pieces of work. Very happy also with that, which is why I asked him to come back to undertake this larger project. Questions are answered and explanations provided, whether by email (promptly) or whilst on site.

Tony carried out my list of electrical works that I had saved up. All works have been carried out to a very satisfactory standard and I am really pleased with the work that has been completed. Tony is very knowledgeable and helpful and I would not hesitate to contact Tony again for any electrical work that is needed.

Tony raised two (new) MK electrical sockets in our kitchen by 600mm and blanked off the redundant sockets - both new sockets included USB outlets. As a bonus Tony was able to to achieve installation of the sockets without cutting-out any additional channels in the plasterboard. In addition, Tony replaced eleven light switches with new MK switches that included integral neon lights to assist finding their locations during darkness (for safety). The work was completed on time and on budget. Tony is very accommodating and sociable, and came across as a very competent contractor, which I highly recommend. Footnote: Tony enjoys a cup of Yorkshire Tea!

Great electrician. Great guy. Dependable, arrives on time. Doesn’t leave until everything is finished and the customer is happy. Rang us up after a few days to make sure we had no problems. Tony came highly recommended from a family member who had some electrical work done. I couldn't be happier with the outcome and am so glad I enquired about engaging Tony for his services. Tony initially came round to survey the work we wanted done and was extremely knowledgable, advising and discussing the work with us ensuring we were happy with the proposals. Tony made it clear that once we had the quote we could pick and choose which items we wanted completed, with absolutely no pressure. We were then swiftly provided an estimate and description of the work to be done, allowing us to look through the items and decide what work we wanted completed. We were then able to book this work directly with Tony who came back to our property across 2 days to complete this. Tony was an absolute pleasure, extremely friendly and professional. The work was completed to the highest standard, with care taken to protect the carpets, walls and furniture where necessary. Tony did such an amazing job, going above and beyond our expectations. I have no hesitation in recommending Tony Byrne whole heartedly. He is friendly, approachable, patient and professional and explains things very clearly. He fixed some coach type lanterns for us at the front of the house, replacing non working lights. He also did three inside light replacements and repairs and pull switch repairs. He discussed options thoroughly with us and sent us a clear estimates of costs. He arrived promptly each day, leaving us nothing to clear up. He is a pleasure to have around - and we are relieved to have found him!

Tony has undertaken work for me on two occasions: replacement of smoke and heat alarms and replacement of eight downlights in bathrooms and kitchen. He kindly provided options (with full prices) via email both times so that I could select my preference. Tony also visited to ensure that the lights would definitely fit, which was much appreciated. Tony is a cheerful, helpful and extremely efficient electrician, who is also very tidy when working and leaves absolutely nothing to clear up - great. Also, there were no additional costs, so I knew exactly what the final amount would be.

Tony Byrne came to our home to review some electrical work we required and gave a very precise detailed estimate. In addition he investigated and sent us various options for light fittings. The work he carried out was to a very high standard and he was an excellent communicator as he proceeded with the work. We found him to be very flexible, rounded off with a very pleasant personality. Finally, he provided an excellent summary of the work that would be very useful in the future i.e. replacement bulbs etc.

Tony arrived promptly and located and solved problem with ring main (which a previous electrician had failed to do). Also went above and beyond by reconnecting our boiler controls from an unrelated issue so we didn’t need to get a plumber back. Very friendly and polite throughout and charged a very reasonable price. No hesitation in recommending him.

I found Tony using the Which? trusted traders scheme, having successfully used it before for a loft conversion and a major garden project. Having been messed around by another electrician, and without having any other contacts, I looked to Which? again. After texting Tony he came to quote for the job a couple of days later. I was reassured by the Which? reviews, but Tony seemed very genuine and took time to understand the work I needed (new circuit for AC, a socket move, connection of a CCTV camera and alarm box). The quote was very clear and specific, unlike another quote I received, which said something like 'do your AC circuit and socket £XX'! Tony was very upfront about how busy he is and we agreed a date a few weeks away. I was encouraged by that. Confirmed the date the week before and arrived as agreed. Very tidy and easy to have around. Also took time to chat and explain the work. Work was completed when agreed and per the quote. I hope to ask Tony to do more work in future and am pleased to recommend him to others.

Tony is always busy but definitely worth waiting for, he does a great job for a fair price. He is reliable, polite and gives good advice.

Very happy to recommend Tony to my family and friends. I had an electrical fault where my fuse box was tripping out. After investigation Tony located the problem with one of the downlights and he also fixed a cupboard light and replaced a switch. He is a very friendly, efficient and someone with whom a lady living alone can feel completely safe. I will use him again.

Tony has been doing various electrical jobs ( power to our summerhouse, new security lights, indoor upgrades to LED lights and checking sockets) for us over the last six months and on every occasion we have been exceptionally impressed. This is the seventh time I have used Tony over the last 2 years, had to sell two houses that required new fuse boxes and certification along with various electrical additions at those and our new property, as always he is reliable and competitive on price. Have recommended them to friends who have also used him on more than one occasion. This time it was outside lights for a garage and power sockets for outside working.

Tony came to my new home as few weeks ago to assess a number of items which needed sorting out (mystery switches, defunct extractor fan etc). The work was carried out and completed this week to my complete satisfaction. He could not have been more helpful. He was prompt, very pleasant to have around, cleaned up after him and his charges were reasonable. I would highly recommend him.

Tony answered my initial email promptly and gave me a date and very reasonable quote to do the job. Does what it says on the tin - turned up on time, thoroughly checked and tested all the fittings and got on with the job. Was done in good time and tidied up after himself.

We thoroughly rate Tony's services and felt he went above and beyond to help us fix a frustrating problem. We had purchased a hot tub from Europe that came with a European plug and couldn't get it to work with just a plug adaptor. Tony spent 30 minutes on the phone with me to help me get to the bottom of the problem. He was incredibly patient and very honest. He didn't want to just cut the plug and fix a UK plug on for example in case we experienced problems and needed to sent it back. He had several helpful suggestions and sent me a link to an adaptor he thought might work. He also came out to give us a quote for installing a plug socket if the adaptor he sent didn't work. Fortunately for us, the adaptor did work, which we were delighted about. We felt Tony went above and beyond to help us and we are very grateful for his honesty and professional help. We have recommended Tony to our friends and family.

I regularly rely on Tony to help me with all electrical problems. He can always think outside the box and arrives at solutions for the most seemingly intractable of difficulties. He is always clear about costings. Tony never pressurises. He is excellent at researching the best appliances for the job (in this case a camera doorbell system). He went to great lengths to inform me of the capabilities of the various systems on the market and the pluses and minuses of each, prior to my buying one. Tony is very patient and calm and happy to explain very carefully to me how to use the system he installed. Tony works cleanly and efficiently, in fact you would never know he had been, if it were not for the job having been done or the problem having been solved! Tony is an excellent electrician and a thoroughly decent person who is honest and trustworthy and always goes the extra mile.

We first met Tony when he completed all electrical work prior to having a hot tub delivered. We were so impressed with how friendly, knowledgeable and tidy his work work was that we asked him for a quote for extra lighting around the front and back of our house. Tony‘s quote was reasonable and due to how impressed we were with him during the hot tub set up, we asked to complete the lighting. The work took him around 10 days and Tony was accommodating to a few slight changes we had throughout with no fuss, and we are over the moon with the end result and how good it looks. Tony is reliable, was always on time and his work faultless. Tony is so friendly that after the 10 days of work we were actually sad to see him leave and we will 100% use him again for further work we have already enquired about. The thing that stood out for us both was Tony’s level of customer service which really makes him stand out compared to other people we have had in to do work for us. Cannot recommend Tony highly enough. Have recently had my kitchen re-fitted and Tony carried out all the electrical works, which involved the installation of a new fuseboard, electrical works for a new light in the ceiling, electrical point for electric oven and numerous socket moves and removals. It was all done to the agreed schedule and budget. Tony is super friendly, helpful, reliable and always responds to messages promptly. Despite a lot of messy work, the kitchen was always left in a tidy state at the end of the day. Excellent workmanship. Will definitely recommend to family and friends.

To install 12 LED down-lights over 2 upstairs bedrooms. Tony made the whole thing so simple and straightforward. His advice and suggestion for choice of lights was spot on and his quote was returned promptly (very reasonable I might add). The work was outstanding & considering it meant drilling many holes in lath & plaster ceilings, there was absolutely no mess! Genuinely!! He filled the old holes almost invisibly. I can't praise his approach enough. He's a thoroughly nice man who clearly likes people and enjoys giving the best service. Absolutely recommended.

With a mixture of overdue electrical jobs around the house I decided that it was time to look for an electrician that I could discuss the various tasks with. Tony followed the plot and provided invaluable input on how it could all best be achieved with explanations of the various options for circuit arrangement and protection. Any onsite obstacles encounted were discussed and resolved, and all while dealing with the social distancing environment. If all tradesmen were as satisfying to deal with as Tony then getting other jobs done around the house would be equally rewarding.
