Alan serviced my boiler and put in place new plumbing for a washing machine after I moved to a new house. Getting water to and out of the washing machine was awkward, but he provided a range of options and the benefits and drawbacks of each along with a recommendation on the best approach. He gave good advice and really wanted to do the best thing for his customer, going above and beyond what I expected from a plumber and ended up doing a bit of joinery along the way. Alan was really open with costs for both boiler repairs and washing machine installation.

I wanted the old electrical heating element in my hot water tank replaced. Alan warned me that, because of the age of the tank, there could be problems in removing the old element. Nevertheless, I decided to go ahead. Although removal and replacement of the heating elements was not straightforward, with perseverance and skill, the job was successfully completed within the agreed price range.

Alan has purchased and installed our boiler after visiting us to assess the problems with the old one and advised us about the type of boiler we need and the costs. We employed him to do that after getting 3 different quotes from different individuals. He was very helpful, did the job on time and tidied after he finished. Checked everything was working smoothly. This was 2 years ago. Now he serviced it for the second year and adjusted the pressure. He checked that everything is working fine. He is efficient, engaging and does his job in a very professional way.

Alan has done several jobs for me over the past few years-put in a new boiler which he services. He has also put thermostats on all radiators and mended a leak on a radiator which was due to a worn out washer. All jobs have been done satisfactorily. He has a good timing system, communicates well and keeps me up to date. I can recommend him.

Alan replaced my conventional boiler with a combination boiler and changed all the radiators. The job was done in a timely fashion with minimal disruption. He explained the operation to me and I have been very happy with the job. Also, he got me a somewhat longer manufacturer's guarantee than some other installers were offering.

Alan replaced and relocated the system boiler with combi. His quote was competitive and he arrived as agreed. After the installation Alan demonstrated the boiler in operation and explained all basic features. I was impressed by his attention to detail and his broad knowledge of relevant subject areas.
