Kelvin and his team could not have been more helpful. Thoroughly professional, nothing was too much trouble. Advice was first rate, great care was shown with all my belongings and everything at the new address put exactly where I wanted. The team was hard working and I am so glad to have chosen them for my move. Everything done on time and as promised, and I thought the quote and subsequent invoice were very reasonable. I have no hesitation in recommending this team and company - absolutely excellent!

Kelvin and Andy arrived punctually to take boxes from our house in Bristol to a flat in London. They were courteous, cheerful and methodical and treated our house with great care. Our daughter was very happy with their unloading in London. We are very grateful to them for making a small but necessary move so easy.

We recently moved from London up to Herefordshire. We had a large, four storey house which was full of furniture and objects acquired over a thirty year period We moved to a much smaller property and knew that it would be quite a task storing all the boxes and furniture. Kelvin had accurately estimated what type of boxes and how many we would need. He planned to move us in two vehicles over a four day period. The move began on a Monday with Kelvin, Andy and a friendly team of very professional guys who arrived on time. Moving house is extremely stressful but we were in excellent hands. Nothing was too much trouble and everyone was polite, respectful and kind as they carefully packed their two large vans. The unpacking of the vans at the new property the next day was as expertly done. The attention as to where and how to stack everything from the old home into the new one was accomplished with constant checking that things were going into the places where it would be easy to see the labels and find again. We really can’t praise this company highly enough and wholeheartedly recommend them if you want a trouble free move by an experienced, kind and very professional crew

Kelvin and his team worked so hard for 4 days to get our vast amount of ‘stuff’ packed and delivered from our big house to our small already full house. They were friendly and helpful and followed our instructions. We weren’t well enough to supervise and they completed the job in good humour and with great care. We’ve moved a lot and Allen & Young are the best company we’ve used. Highly recommended

Kelvin and his team were very efficient, but didn't rush and took great care with our belongings. They even packed a few extra fragile items I hadn't specified ahead of time. Highly recommend - I would use them again if I ever move again.

We have used Allen & Young twice to move and on the second move, we used their packing service as well. The movers are friendly, helpful and professional. Their packing service also helped significantly to reduce the stress of the move the second time! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a removal company.

When I contacted Kelvin at the last minute about moving us out of a third-floor walk-up in Covent Garden I was amazed to find that he and his team were extremely cheerful, careful, hard-working and attentive to anything whatsoever that might make me unhappy about the business of getting too much stuff down the stairs and out the door. They clapped and cheered at the end of the day. Six months later, when they brought all that stuff to our new home in South Wales, it was the same again. Nothing was too much trouble. They solved problems that had nothing to do with the move. Complicated pieces which they'd carefully dissassembled in London (a sofa bed, a lovely glass table with drop-down wings) were just as carefully reassembled again in Wales. I cannot speak too highly of their customer service and especially of the way they made it almost pleasant to be moving house.

I can not recommend Kelvin and his team highly enough. They were absolutely fantastic in helping us on our big move from London to the Kent coast. They were very patient and kind in packing up our lovely old house. The personal attention we received was so re-assuring in what we all know is a very stressful time when moving. They were just excellent.

Kelvin, and his team really set our house move off to a good start. They took the dishevelled state of our home in good spirits as we dismantled 16 years of family life. The only comments they ever made were compliments/ at both our old and our new house. They packed our fragile and electric items fantastically well and labelled everything clearly enough that we have had no trouble unpacking. And they cheerfully put up with the many boxes we had packed far less expertly. Kelvin did his best to keep the costs reasonable. It was a very long day and not one of the team complained or slacked. Our friends commented on how hard they were working right up to the end- traipsing up and down three flights of stairs and reassembling furniture, fitting washing machines and congratulating us on our move . All the reviews ring true! Really appreciated Allen and Young's service from start to finish. A very reasonable quote with (unlike some removal companies) no hidden costs; friendly and helpful staff, all done in good time and with appropriate care - no breakages or other damage. Would definitely use them again.

It's hard to choose a removals company. But Kelvin at Allen & Young came highly recommended by "Which?" so we gave him a call. He came round, surveyed the property, and came back to us with a very reasonable quote. For three long swelteringly hot 30C+ early September days, Kelvin and his great team carefully packed, carried and loaded a mountain of boxes into several vans, including one van solely for the 100 garden pot plants, all moved as carefully as if porcelain. And on the third long, hot day, we finally moved into our new home and the team carefully and efficiently filled every room with the same boxes. It couldn't have been done by a nicer bunch of people.

Kelvin and team helped us move from London to Lancashire with a number of stops along the way. They were very efficient, friendly and reliable. Nothing broken, great communication. All in all, a fantastic service.

I recently moved house and used Allen and Young. I was impressed with their service. The day before 2 of them came the day before and put three hours in packing. This was carried out efficiently . On moving day day 3 movers arrived on time 8 am and got straight to work. They were friendly and respectful although it was challenging at times as there was a lot of stuff. Unloading was difficult as a lift and several long corridors had to be encountered into my flat.. There were no breakages at all as there were quite a lot of ornaments and pictures . The guys worked nearly non stop till 7pm. A house clearance firm was suppose to pick up furniture and they did not turn up .Kelvin the boss went the extra mile said we will pick it up and saved the day.

Allen and Young moved a desk and filing cabinet for me, just a short distance. The work was carried out promptly and efficiently.

I never cease to be highly impressed by the speed and quality of the removals undertaken by the crew from Allen and Young. It's incredibly refreshing to have a trader that you can trust to just get on with a job without needing constant micromanagement. Simply point them at at a pile of boxes and furniture (in my case extensive) and away they go. The crew is always friendly and punctual and a pleasure to employ. I will definitely be using them again!

This is the third time we engaged Allen & Young! We moved from a 4 bedroom house to another 4 bedroom house. This time we have them pack everything up as well as unbox all the contents. They also removed the packing materials. Kelvin and his crew are very professional, experienced and polite. They made the entire process fuss free and took our away. Kelvin clearly communicated their ETAs, amount of time needed and requirements ahead of time. The crew arrived on time on each occasion and finished the job early! We'd recommend them anytime!

Our whole experience with Kelvin and his crew has been first rate from start to finish - friendly, efficient, meticulous... and, even better, by far the lowest quote. Nothing was too much effort for them in ensuring that everything was moved safely and securely. They took great care in dismantling our bed and wardrobe, and went the extra mile in plumbing in our washing machine. Everyone was polite, friendly and respectful. I used Allen and Young to pack up and move from my flat in August 2022. They packed everything extremely carefully, and were good humoured throughout the process. They arranged storage, and six months later - February 2023 - they moved my belongings from storage into my new flat. Kelvin and the team were professional, knowledgable and great to work with, and the price was very fair. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them!

Kelvin moved me and my (quite small) goods across the country. He also offered to transport my cats. All for a very good price. But on the day I couldn't get them into their carriers. Thankfully I had overlapping leases. Panic ensued due to rail strikes that very day. Kelvin saved the day and brought me back down. He is helpful, friendly and professional. Calm. Tidy. Flexible. Quiet. (We moved early morning) I couldn't praise or thank him enough. Recommended!

Allen & Young provided a really excellent moving service and I would highly recommend them. We used them for a recent move having use the company many years previously on a separate move. Again, Kelvin was incredibly helpful and organised, handling a lot of last minute changes and snow/ice. We had the team pack up our items and had no problem finding everything and unpacking at the other end as the boxes were so neatly packed and clearly labelled. Nothing was damaged in the move and they kept to budget. Best of all the team kept up everyone’s spirits up over two long days of unpacking and moving, and made the entire experience of getting into our new home really pleasant. Thanks to them all. I used Allen and Young to clear out my storage locker and move the contents to our new house, disposing of unwanted things afterwards. Kelvin and Andy were on time, highly efficient, very friendly, and took great care of our stuff. This was a relatively small job which they took on at short notice just before Christmas, so extra credit for that. Overall: they are excellent movers. Highly, highly recommended.
