Anthony (boss) called round to talk us through procedures, where, how the lift worked. Within a week, Anthony (engineer) came to fit it. It was done in no time. Good clean job done. If you need a stairlift, then AMW Stairlifts are your guys. They put a stairllift in for my parents and, as another reviewer has mentioned, from start to finish they were amazing. They helped get the right solution by spending time with my parents and understanding their needs (we went with an excellent Platinum machine). The measuring and fitting process was quick and efficient. The upstairs would not be accessible to one of my parents now so this has literally been life changing. Most of all the people at AMW have been amazing. We’ve engaged with Anthony, Victoria, Steve and Mark, and they have all put my parents first in the process whilst offering a quality product. I have been using this company for 3 years now last 2 to service stairlift bought in hurry 3 months in hospital to enable me to be discharged . Last week was serviced I knew needed replacement was not charged for this service . It was my descion to have new replacement all my options prices ect clearly explained to me then left to decied .Once said what I wanted Mark again went through everything cleary explained paperwork completed order placed . Wednesday 20/8 /25 same two young men arrived again just got with the work removing old one installing new one cleaning up after work completed. Mark then explained how stairlift worked that I was happy using the chair controls ext before they left. I would also like to say I have mobilty issues on both visits they helped me with things i was struggling with. I have always found office staff very polite helpful when phoned . Will continue to use this company

Anthony from AMW arrived on time. He was very organised and worked quickly and was very tidy. He explained how to use the stairlift and general cleaning. He hoovered all bits up from the stairs and surrounding area. I cannot fault the work he did and he was a very nice and polite young man.

AMW Stairlift Limited installed a very good stairlift on the 6 may 2025,from the survey to the installation was excellent, the fitter was very professional and left the area he was working in clean and tidy, would highly recommend.

Just had a stairlift installed by AMW stairlifts. I was full of doubt about this. Not sure if I needed it. Decided to go ahead. I contacted AMW stairlifts. A person came measured everything and explained what would be involved. Gave me a price and arranged the day for installation. The day came an engineer turned up. He got on with the job straight away. It was done with very little mess or upset. He cleaned everything up, explained how the lift worked. checked everything, before I knew it the job was done. Absolutely without a hitch from first contact to completion. I can only say the company were a pleasure to deal with. Its early days yet but I feel sure the after sales service will be just as good

Very professional company to use for our needs. The engineer worked very efficient, he was clear with his instructions of how to use the stairlift, he was very polite and respectable. My mum was made to feel comfortable on how to use the stair lift. In all really happy with all the work carried out.

My mum’s stairlift broke down, so we called AMW. They came out promptly the same day. The service engineer made a temporary repair to the existing stairlift, free of charge, but advised Mum that a new one would be needed in the near future. A reconditioned model was ordered the same day and fitted two days later. We were really impressed by the speed and professionalism of the service engineer and would highly recommend this Company.

We obtained a quote for my elderly parents on Monday 14th October and Mark came to fit the stairlift on Thursday 17th. The price was excellent, much less than we were expecting. The day they came to fit the stairlift, my dad was in hospital and Mark got extra people to come and help get the job done quicker so that my mum didn’t miss visiting times. The stairlift was fitted quickly with no mess or fuss. Mark was extremely polite and gave clear instructions on how to use the stairlift. He took time to explain what he would be doing at every step of the fitting. It was all done and dusted within 3 hours. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this company. From ringing the office to make an appointment and getting the lift installed for my parents, took just 2 days! Ant came to advise my parents on the right stairlift for them and promised to have it installed the next day. Mark came to install it and he was very professional and amiable, putting my parents at ease. He had one or two issues with the installation but didn’t leave until the lift was properly installed and working smoothly. I highly recommend AMW on every aspect of their service.

Customer service has been brilliant from getting a quote and with getting the stair lift put in. Chair lift is suitable for the house and my needs and we are very happy with the quality and the work men explained how to use it very well. Couldn’t be happier with the service I received and how quickly it was put in, would recommend this company to family and friends.

Mark the installer from AMW Lift and Mobility recently fitted a stairlift form my 87 year old mother, who was, safe to say reluctant to have one fitted and have a stranger in the house. However he made her feel very comfortable and re-assured and went out of his way to provide great service. Making sure she was happy with the product, the safety considerations and how to use it. My mother Mary, doesn't have internet, hence why she has asked me to make sure that Mark and AMW gets the credit due to them Great work

Stairlift couldn’t be fitted by three other firms, as stairs were too narrow and too steep. Anthony from AMW came out and measured up and promised he could do it. And that is exactly what he did. Dale fitted my stairlift on the 1st of June. Anthony was there all the time and explained everything I suffer from MS and I am really pleased with all the effort they put in and how good clean and quick the job was. Thank you again to all of you.

I heard about Anthony and AMW by word of mouth. He came highly recommended. Anthony called and said he could sort me out whereas others have said they cannot due to the narrow stairs. It was fitted today by Mark (grand lad) and he did a superb job. He was friendly, informative and very helpful. The lift itself is smooth, quiet, comfortable and easy to operate. AMW also arranged to modify the tapered bottom step to accommodate the lift. All done at a very good price; less than expected. The whole job was done by both contractors with absolutely no fuss in the one day. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

I would just like to thank the two lads who came to fit our stairlift on Friday the twenty eighth January. Amazing job done, very polite and helpful couldn’t have done enough for us. We needed a stairlift fitted urgently for mum who has developed severe spinal and breathing conditions and can no longer cope with stairs. We contacted the Council along with several other companies, they came back with huge waiting times, huge quotations, or both. AMW responded straight away, Victoria was bright, cheerful and genuinely helpful on the phone. Anthony called round within days of the initial call, after surveying the job, he gave us clear, no pressure advice as to the best options for our staircase, along with a no obligation quote. I called to give the go ahead on a reconditioned stairlift on Monday and by Wednesday the team were round. They worked away with no fuss or mess and within a few hours the stairlift was in. Steve provided a full demo and left us up and running with plenty of backup information. I have to say, I am thrilled with how easy and professional AMW made the whole process. The lift is perfect for our mum who was able to understand and use the controls almost instantly. Great People, Great Pricing, Great Product and Great Customer Service!
