I have been an Andy Gas Customer for over 10 years and have always had excellent service. My boiler is serviced annually and they always send a reminder. The engineers arrive on time, tidy and professional and the price is as quoted in advance. Their Customer Service line is very helpful and will quickly send someone to investigate any possible problems or re-arrange bookings. Very reliable company.

Andy Gas installed my boiler over six years ago and they do an annual service every August. The service team have always been polite, professional and respectful of my property. Connor has done the service for the last two years. He’s been a punctual and friendly professional. A good lad!

This is the second occasion I have used this company for work and on both occasions, they were brilliant, no complaints on time and cost as quoted. Shower taps and new loo fitted. All were left very clean after, thank you!

Very happy with the boiler service task completed today. The young lad was extremely competent, polite, courteous and very thorough in his working. He left the place neat and tidy and I felt confident in the work carried out. But then AGS always sends professional staff who know their work. We have always used them since 2017 and are happy to continue to do so.

I had Andy Gas out to check out a strange noise from my boiler. This is the third time that I have used them. Again, as per the second time they came out: no hard sell,only honest open opinion and advice. It transpires that the guy who attended was not sure what the problem was - however he reassured me that the boiler was fine, all the readings were correct and that we should leave it a week and then see where the land lies then. If after a week it is still the same call them back and they will return. I felt totally reassured by his advice, his mannerisms and professionalism. On all three occasions that I have used them ( including servicing the boiler ) I have had the same experience. I recommend them now to people who ask “ do you know anyone who can “ and in particular my neighbour who is elderly and vulnerable. People in their office are great also - communication is great.

andy gas southern installed new gas pipes to my kitchen and connected my new oven and hob. they were on time and got on with the job, so i will be calling them back to look at my central heating .

Removed old oil heating system and large Cooper water tank and 2 tanks in attic. Replaced with electric system and new tank and rewired it in. Had been told by another that this was not possible. The crew were really great hard working and kept house clean with cover on carpets. All done in 4 days and cost as quote. I hope I can recommend them to someone I know. They really are that good and very courteous. My wife who missed all the work got back in time for briefing and was very impressed. Thanks to all but particularly Brad who did everything a great credit to his trade. All the best thanks nick.

Andy Gas removed my old boiler, hot water cylinder and water tank then relocated and installed a new Worcester Bosch boiler. The team were excellent, the work to a very high standard and they also went above and beyond by removing some extra piping. Would highly recommend.

AGS called to view and quote for the job. Details and options were explained and discussed. I choose to use their service based on this. The team arrived and installed the units promptly and efficiently. I was consulted and advised where choice were to be made. Finally the operation of the units was explained fully and patiently. They were professional and courteous at all times. Recommended.

Combi boiler was varying in pressure between Zero bar & 3.5 bar & back to less than 1 bar. Andy came out himself the same morning as all engineers booked. Found expansion vessel empty, drained, recharged, refilled system & tested. Fixed the immediate problem, explained if pressures go haywire again a new vessel will be required. Fingers crossed!! Fantastic customer service!!

Diagnosed a faulty PCB which had caused other issues with gas boiler, recommended a fixed price repair from the manufacturer, as being the more cost-effective option given the manufacturer’s economies of scale. Their service throughout was prompt, knowledgeable, very customer focused and they left the place very tidy. Extremely reasonable rates, I was struck by the sheer decency of the engineer who was prepared to advise us on cost-effective solutions, even if that meant us taking our business elsewhere. Be assured, I will definitely be using Andy Gas Southern in future.

The engineer arrived well within the specified time slot. He was friendly, helpful and efficient. The service was carried out tidily. This is the level of service I always receive from this company from the office staff and engineers. I thoroughly recommend this company.

We are very happy with the Annual Vaillant gas boiler service just completed. Ryan was very efficient, helpful and polite. The boiler has been installed and serviced since 2009 by AGS. All the work done has always been very good. As always we would highly recommend AGS.

After the demise of our boiler,AGS provided a competitive tender for a replacement boiler. We were informed of the type of boiler recommended and the work required to replace the current boiler by Andy. Steve our fitter was efficient and he kept us updated on the progress of the work. The work was done with minimal loss of water and gas and we were able to use the boiler after day 1 for hot water before the system flush on day 2 All work was conducted quickly and professionally. We would recommend this company for any similar work and boiler servicing.

A problem with a 23 year old shower thermostatic mixer valve made the shower unusable but was quickly identified. A work-around has given the shower a new lease of life and for a very reasonable charge. Could not have asked for more. I have had a recent experience with British Gas and their service was not in the same league. Never again. Thanks, Chris

My boiler started to make a loud banging noise when starting after a BG service. I got AGS Ltd to look at it and their engineer did his own service and cleared the fault. I will definitely be getting AGS to do my service next year!

I had a new boiler fitted by another local firm and all was not well. I found Andy Gas from the Which? Trusted Trader list and within a few visits they had identified a number of problems, one of them being a safety issue so concerning that the system was 'At Risk' and the boiler taken out of use. I was provided with a quotation and advised of a scheme of works to rectify all the issues and in due course their Gas Service Technicians spent 2 and a half days working solidly, not only to remedy the issues but to make welcome improvements. During his visits, the manager demonstrated a thorough technical knowledge and its application to my system. The technicians were well mannered and applied themselves to the work in hand, taking care to lay dustsheets and to vacuum afterwards. They also updated the float valve with a newer Part 2 model when I asked them. On completion, I was given an explanation of what had been achieved and shown how to adjust the pressure release valve. Magnificent and reassuring service.

I have used this firm for annual gas boiler checks before. Their total service is of high quality and their charges are reasonable. This is the second of their engineers I've been sent. He was very professional and thoroughly competent. His people skills were high (answered my questions in terms i could understand) and he was efficient, leaving me with a completed record of his findings.They send me reminders and their paperwork is as thorough as their engineering skill, led by an extremely capable administrator. I hope to use this firm next year and would recommend them to anyone needing similar work undertaken.

I have used AndyGas for many years to service my boiler. It is a very efficient, friendly Company. My existing boiler sprung a leak at the beginning of the very cold spell and they sent out one of their Engineers promptly. It was confirmed that it was beyond economic repair. John quoted for a boiler ideal for my needs - 10 yr guarantee covering boiler, parts and labour. It was fitted a day and a half later by Jordan who worked nonstop in very cold conditions. The following Friday, Kieran flushed the radiators through, another full-day job. The result is that my home has never been so cosy and warm. Both guys are very friendly and courteous and do a first-class, clean, tidy job, as do all their Engineers. As an elderly customer, it is a comfort for me to be able to contact such a reliable Company when needed. I can thoroughly recommend them.

We had our boiler and gas fire serviced. The work was completed very efficiently. Communication with the firm was good.
