New kitchen installed just before first lockdown purchased from Wickes, clean tidy workers who did a reasonable job. A cupboard fell off the wall and due to covid restrictions I put it back myself, then the expensive flooring started cracking because it had been laid over ceramic tiles without any screed or underlay, then the saga begins. Contacted Wickes who said it was not their fault, contacted the fitter who took quite a while to come and see it, when he did he admitted that it was his fault and that he would put it right ( trust me ) despite many calls he didn't come back, so we eventually contacted the Furniture Ombudsman who was very helpful and two years later it is only just getting resolved, so now we have to look forward to the disruption in the kitchen all over again to have the floor lifted and replaced being fitted properly. This has taken all of the enjoyment of having a new luxury kitchen that we paid a lot of money for and paid the fitter, so although there are positive comments here I can't be one of them, totally disappointed with the service.
