Paolo: We (my brother and sister) had ongoing issues within our basement area for a property that we rent. We called Avant Garde and spoke to Ben Sullivan who organised an independent surveyor to come round and assess the situation. A full report was then given along with options to resolve these long standing issues. Work was carried out to a very high standard and I would not hesitate to recommend him to friends or family. ------- Rob: I have a basement flat with constant damp problems in different areas of the flat over many years. Avant Garde came to assess the problems and have done a great job fixing them including tanking a wall fixing cracks letting water in the building and a leak from an upstairs shower. This involved some building works plastering removing and refitting a radiator and as of 7 months later I am yet to have any problems. We also have a 10 year guarantee for the works to keep us satisfied there will be no issues. All the workers were very friendly and had good working practices.

Ben and his team at Avant Garde treated a dry rot issue in our basement. We were impressed with their thorough job. They took the time to treat the problem properly, unlike some other contractors from whom we also received quotes. We were also grateful that they took care to ensure dust from the basement was carefully contained, which is important to us as we have a small baby. We would definitely recommend Avant Garde and use them again in the future.

I contacted Avant Garde Damp Solutions and Ben came to see me in a couple of days. He explained what the work would entail and arranged for a report to be done. Once the work was agreed I received confirmation on the dates and the job was done the following week. It took 2 days as planned and I was pleased with the result. Ben and Frank have been very courteous and kept disruption to a minimum. Ben came back the following week to check on the job and make sure I was happy with it.
