Paul installed a new gate and fencing at our property and repaired a section of fencing. He provided a clear quote and did the job on the day he said he would. Paul did a great job and we would definitely use him again and would recommend him to anyone else.

Paul from AW Fencing and Driveways repaired two patios for me, one last year and one this week, re-laying existing slabs on a full bed of wet sand and cement mix. Because of the high quality of the first, I chose Paul to do the second patio too. He arrived on time, did a very good job and cleared up well afterwards. I have also used AW Fencing and Driveways many times for repairing fence-posts.

Paul is absolutely great at what he does. I've hired him to install a driveway, replace a fence and install a patio - all have been done timely, reasonably priced and to a very high quality. Cannot fault his service.

We have used Paul at AW fencing several times to replace storm damaged fencing panels. On previous occasions he has suppied the materials but on this last piece of work we bought the panels/posts and he installed them for us. As before, the work was done well, completed in the agreed time-scales. and Paul's attention to detail was appreciated. He also made sure that the garden work area was tidied up efficiently, taking away the old rotten fencing. We are very pleased with the results, and will use him again.

We have used AW Fencing for several jobs over the years and have always been very satisfied. This time they replaced a garden archway and added a new gate with the arch, the gate being custom made. At the other side of the house they fitted a new gate with associated paneling to fill in the gap completely. The quality of work is always good, the price is always reasonable and you always get what was promised. Paul had to delay the start by a day because of the weather. He didn't just ring to tell us, he called in person to explain. By the standards of most contractors we have used over the years, this is quite exceptional. If you want a good, reliable service at a fair price, use this company.

This is the third time we have used this company for fencing and would not consider using anyone else. Paul does a great job using top quality materials and excellent workmanship. Everything was left neat and tidy afterwards. We are already planning to book him again for a landscaping/patio job. Highly recommended.

Having used this firm before we knew we would be getting a good job. It was a professional job, they arrived on time, got on with the job and cleared up after themselves. We had a large run of fencing erected and they dealt with some unexpected problems in a good and professional manner.

Paul and his assistant re-layed about 70 paving slabs at the back of the house which had become uneven after 20 years' use. They did the work very thoroughly (I don't expect the slabs to move again in the next 20 years!) and I will be asking them to do the same to more paving at the side of the house next year when I hope the supply problems with materials that Paul had this year will have gone away. Paul has done other work for me - reinforcing fence posts and fitting a new gate, all to his usual high standard.

The fence looks great, tidied up well on finishing the job. There were some supply problems with posts and panels, but we were kept informed about this. Work on the day was done efficiently and we will be having them back to do paving and new shed. Definitely recommend.

Paul replaced a fence in my garden. While a straightforward job (concrete posts, gravel boards and arched panels), Paul's attention to detail and quality of work was excellent. I would have no recommendation in recommending Paul (and in fact have already asked him to quote for a pergola).

Great service - fitted a significant length of fencing including dealing with some awkward ground conditions and working around a large tree. The materials used were of excellent quality, substantial and solid. Quality of workmanship equally good and impressive. All delivered for agreed cost and well within the agreed time frame. He kept me fully updated on any supply issues due to Covid and completed a high-quality job on the agreed date with minimal disruption to our garden or our neighbour’s garden. We appointed AW Fencing to undertake an awkward fencing job at the back of my property, which involved a gradient change and mixed ownership. Earth and weeds were constantly slipping into my garden, and my old fence was falling apart and leaning. The team deconstructed the complex mess and replaced it with a very smart and robust sleeper retaining wall and 6ft fence. Not only does it look great, but it has resolved all of our issues and given us some much needed privacy in our back garden. Brilliant job: thanks so much!

We needed two fence panels removing and gates installing so we could get our caravan in the garden. The ground was leveled both sides. Really pleased. This is the second time we have used Paul and would not consider using anyone else.

I have no hesitation in recommending Paul. He has just completed a difficult, large piece of fencing work for me. He provided a clear, detailed quote after a site visit, and even made a second, separate visit to show me a piece of fencing so I could make up my mind as to exactly what type and colour of fencing I wanted. As the work was actually being carried out Paul encountered a couple of practical problems, but he discussed his proposed solutions with me before he went ahead and dealt with them. Despite Covid and a lot of problems which that brought, he delivered on time and according to the quote. The invoice was delivered by hand the following day. Both Paul and his colleague were polite, pleasant to deal with and I knew I could trust them to do a really good job.

I had a long driveway redone and expanded with a patio style set of paving stones in front of the house with the drainage rerouted and tarmac for the main drive. It wasn’t cheap, but was very well finished and looks great. When I later asked for some additional work to be done by dropping the kerb, for which I had historical planning permission, I was only charged for the kerb materials, and not the labour. Paul and his colleague were courteous and helpful with suggestions as to how to make it work (I have a shared drive). I was given helpful advice on what would and wouldn’t work for the property. I would have no hesitation in using them again or recommending them for a quality service.

This is the second time we have used A W Fencing and Driveways and as ever, Paul’s work is of the highest standard. He recently installed a pair of large timber access gates and they fit perfectly. He is punctual, easy to contact and very efficient with supplying written quotations. I would recommend this company without hesitation.

He kept the agreed appointment for site inspection and scope of work, producing a clear and concise estimate for the work involved in the patio extension. He arrived on time at the agreed date to start work and discussed any variations made necessary due to supply issues caused by CV19. All variations with cost implications were agreed prior to starting work so as there were no unexpected cost surprises. He completed a quality job on time causing us minimal inconvenience. He submitted a final invoice promptly and politely by hand. Paul had done our original drive and patio some 20 years ago which he extended this time.
