Our team are qualified and experienced in complete home renovations, bathroom & shower room refurbishments, room conversions, building work, electricals as well as boilers and various central heating systems.
We serve mainly residential clients and commercial properties within South East, South and East London area. We've been serving these areas for nearly 2 decades now and have built up a reputation for being efficient, trust worthy, reliable and clean. We have a quick turnaround time with zero compromise on standards and finish. Baseline did a fantastic job renovating our bathroom, including knocking down a wall to incorporate an old separate loo, fitting a new suite, plastering, painting and tiling, and plastering, fitting coving and a picture rail, painting and replacing the woodwork and radiator in a bedroom. Both rooms now look amazing - the quality of the team’s work is exceptional. I was particularly grateful for all the sensible advice Calum offered when we were picking bathroom fittings and for their commitment to meeting tight timelines - both rooms were done exactly in schedule in just three weeks. Lauren in the office was also very responsive which helped us move quickly. A huge thank you to the whole Baseline team, any future work on our house we will know who to go straight to!

We contacted several builders before appointing Baseline Ltd and they immediately impressed with their professionalism. They are a fantastic bunch of builders led by Calum who contributed to our project (refurbishment of our kitchen/downstairs) with some brilliant ideas. We spoke to at least 10 builders in the SE8 area before choosing Baseline. Calum immediately impressed us on initial visit with his professionalism, ideas and knowledge. Even the quotes were by far the clearest and most thorough of the lot; it was obvious the team considered the project in detail from the start. It gave us a lot of confidence. The work itself was conducted quickly and neatly, dust was kept localised and they made it easy for us to continue to use the house at the end of each working day. Throughout the communication was clear, friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

My study had a suffered a catastrophic leak and had to be dried out, plastered and repainted. In a panic and unable to get hold of Baseline (which I have used before), I engaged another firm who were totally incompetent, sacked them and contacted Baseline who corrected problems of first stage and completed the job rapidly and without fuss. They are both knowledgeable and helpful and the team are capable and quick. Communication is excellent, their commitments and work are utterly reliable, and they work cleanly and spend time at the end cleaning and tidying well. I will not make the mistake again of employing another company and thoroughly recommend Baseline.

Baseline renovated, extended and reconfigured our 5 bedroom house to an exceptional standard. Our extensive project took less than 6 months from beginning to end including plans, permission, landscaping of the front and rear, extension, loft conversion, changing the internal layout, moving the stairs, security system, new heating and refurbishment throughout. Calum and his team are professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. They worked very efficiently throughout the obstacles of lockdowns and national shortages. His team have excellent attention to detail and the big plus was that they listened to what we wanted and delivered on it. They were there at the final handover to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. We are extremely happy with our new home and Baseline will always get our recommendation.

Their advert seems to be misleading.
I'm just writing this to potentially save people time. I am looking to have a loft hatch expanded. As Baseline advertises that they do loft conversations I would have thought it would have been in their remit but when I enquired they replied "we do not carry out the services you require". Perhaps, it seems that the job was too little but when a company writes that they pride their work "....from a little repair to renovating an entire house" it kind of gives the impression that a loft hatch would be in their scope of work. To be fair, they got back to me quickly but I feel they've wasted my time with misleading information. I feel they can be much clearer with what sorts of jobs they want to take on.

Highly recommended for the excellent work from beginning to end. Everyone was professional and friendly. The job required an internal structural wall and chimney breast knocking down to make a large kitchen/dining/living area, kitchen fitted, whole house electrics and a non structural wall knocking down upstairs to create and install a fabulous luxury bathroom. They were always willing to go the extra mile to ensure we were completely happy with all the work undertaken. The whole team were kind and polite and we trusted them implicitly with the keys to our house for the duration of the project. We would definitely use them again for any future projects.

They are not cheap, but then good quality building work never is in my experience. They were punctual, tidy, easy to talk to, and flexible when a problem arose. We had a shower room fully refurbished. We are very pleased with the result so far. Only one small leak which they came promptly to fix. We sourced all the fixtures and fittings ourselves. They just supplied the basic materials and the labour within the original quote. One tip, try and work out everything you want from the start so that it is in their original quote. We added some extras at one point, and seemed to pay a lot for them as a proportion of the overall quote. My son tells me that they did seal in a slight paint stain on the slate floor so only 4 stars for quality.

Calum and his team did a complete bathroom refit for us. The work was carried out professionally, with care and in good time. The work overran by half a day but only because there was some unanticipated electrical work which took up a lot of time. We love our new bathroom and would highly recommend Baseline.

Baseline redecorated my 3 bedroom flat, completely refurbished the bathroom removing the bath, installing a shower and all fittings and a new rad, re-tiling the floor and all walls floor to ceiling. They also sorted out a low-pressure water problem, tiled a cupboard floor, tiled under and behind the cooker and re-grouted the tiling in the kitchen. In addition, all door handles were renewed. The flat was unoccupied whilst the work was carried out and there was no time limit. The budget was adhered to. Good advice given, prompt response to any query, prompt attendance at all times and the finished flat was left clean and tidy. All the work carried out was of a good standard and carefully undertaken. I would employ Baseline again and have no qualms in recommending them

Callum was always friendly and professional and did an excellent job, we were very pleased with the results of both the full kitchen renovation and the whole house repainting. As with any building job there were some minor snagging issues which occurred and Callum was very quick to respond to these and resolve them.

Baseline worked on my bathroom re-fit, removing my bath and replacing with a walk-in shower. The work was completed to a very high standard ahead of schedule. From the first consultation all the way through to completion i have been very impressed. I was quite nervous making the decisions for the job and Callum was very patient and helpful, he advised when i asked for his expertise and was can-do in all of the requests i had. The team were always polite and they ensured they cleared up after themselves each day. I was kept informed of all developments each day and felt that attention was being paid to my job from start to the early completion. I am very impressed and will use Baseline again.

Working with Baseline was and excellent experience from my first contact with Lauren in the office to meeting with Calum to go through what I needed done to the team arriving on site on time and on the agreed day. I had 3 jobs I needed doing, a full refurbishment of my small bathroom, conversion of a downstairs toilet and cloakroom into a home study and full redecoration of the whole flat. Calum was so helpful with talking me through the options and also making some great suggestions and observations with regard to my selections of products. The work was completed on time and to the greed costing and to the highest of standards. I have only had to snags that needed to be sorted and they where back within days to rectify them.

Baseline refurbished our rental flat in London and made an excellent job of it! The works comprised fitting a new kitchen, plumber work, laying laminate floors, painting the entire flat and sundry repairs. The original schedule was two weeks but Baseline managed to finish the work to a high standard in 7 days and on budget. Each day they arrived on site on time at 8 am. On the first day they covered up the existing flooring and furniture to protect these. Calum was very polite and friendly throughout and manages his hard working team efficiently, which results in a good standard of finish. Calum kept me informed of progress by mobile phone regularly. There was a small leak under the sink that Calum resolved the next day.

Works done on budget on time. Who can say my builder always kept me informed at every stage. Every time I phoned or messaged Calum he got straight back to me. As they were leaving Calum noticed I had purchased a shower screen. He offered to install it for me as he new I would struggle. I would have no hesitation in recommending Baseline.

We enlisted Baseline to renovate our home. They refit a new bathroom, kitchen, flooring and decorating throughout. There was great communication from start to finish from all the staff. We were given sound advice and recommendations. Nothing was too much for them and they were flexible throughout. We are so pleased with their work in our home. Baseline have come several times over the years, most recently they refurbished my flat and put it in a very nice condition. I have used them for a number of big jobs over the years. They are very clean, and happy to fix anything that needs sorting. I've never had any issues.

Complete renovation of 3 bedroom house including removing dividing wall between toilet room and bathroom. Extending bedroom by moving wall, kitchen & bathroom refits, building new toilet room under stairs, decoration and flooring throughout. I am very pleased with the work Baselne did. It was completed in less than the estimated duration and the house looks great. Also suggestions to extend one of bedrooms and add a toilet room means we are benefiting from use of what was wasted unused space.
