My name is Sean Cunningham, I am the owner of Bay Plumbing and Heating after taking over the business from my father John Cunningham.

Booked for a boiler service, after previous plumber left the area. Was incredibly nice to deal with and very helpful when a couple of problems arose (from work of the previous engineer). Gave great advice which was much appreciated and will certainly be used again not only for a regular service but to tidy up what needs fixing and any future jobs that arise. Would highly recommend.

Combi boiler & central heating fix

Drained & cleaned central heating - inhibitor in radiators; checked & serviced combi boiler; found missing part & replaced. Superb service, punctuality, manners, helpfulness, honesty. Continued job during 1st lockdown & when boiler problem persisted, he returned at no extra charge without hesitation & worked until the problem was resolved. The problem was caused by a previous company yet he identified it and fixed it. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Quick to answer the phone and make an appointment for a boiler service. Very friendly. The engineer arrived on time, was quick, friendly and efficient. Could not ask for more.

Lack of response = bad practice
Well, the previous reviewers have been lucky. Sean and Bay Plumbing came recommended to me. I rang first of all; was asked to put my job in an email (as phone signal was poor). I obliged with a relatively informative email detailing the aspects of what was required. No reply. I called. I texted. I wrote again. I texted again. I think it's fair to say I was very patient and said from the off - as Sean was having a gap to do work on his own place - that I was prepared to wait, because, in addition, I have been 'shielding' (on the Govt.'s list) and I wanted to wait till we're emerging from the higher levels of coronavirus. But I didn't want to be totally overlooked! Sean did reply to a couple of my follow-up messages but that was to say he'd be in touch, but, no, after all that (my multiple 'chases'), Sean has never got back to me about visiting and pricing the job.

I am very sorry that I have not been back to you regarding the quote that you required. The only reason that I can think of that I would not have replied promptly is that at the time it was the first national lockdown and things were all very up in the air. I can only apologise for the lack of reply. If there is anything that I can do to make this better or if you would like that I came round to quote for the work (things are a lot more stable now) please let me know
Very Efficient Service

Sean was on time and complied fully with Covid guidance, including wearing a mask. As requested, he serviced our boiler and bled our radiators. He also answered all our questions, and explained what we needed to do to make sure our radiators provide us with the heating we need this winter. Very good customer service.

Good, efficient and tidy

It was great to deal with a skilled expert. Sean inspected the combi-boiler and explained what needed replacing in my boiler and managed to fit it within a day. He clearly knew what he was doing and tidied up after the job was done. Explaining the work was not too much trouble. His paperwork arrived within minutes as well as a report of what he had done. Would always call his company first.

The engineer from Bay Plumbing and Heating Services my boiler last year and I requested that he did so again this year. The engineer emailed me a reminder that the boulders service was due. I replied and we agreed a suitable date and time. He phoned me on the day to confirm time of arrival. He was very punctual and arrived wearing uniform displaying the company name. I was ready to offer the engineer gloves and hand sanitiser as COVID-19 is still present. He had just put on a new pair of gloves and a face mask and engaged in appropriate social distancing. He was very informative; I asked a few questions and he was very helpful. He did a thorough check of the boiler and it’s flue. He was very clean and tidy. He asked me if I wanted to be reminded when the boiler was due for its next service, which I agreed to as I was very satisfied with his work. I recommend this company.
