The required work was carried out in three stages: 1. A survey of existing electrical installation. We fully expected that a full house rewire would be needed but John explained that this was not required. A new consumer unit needed, and any work needed for new lighting fixtures would require the purchase of class 2 fittings to ensure safety. A written survey report was provided that was clear and concise. This stage was carried out by John and Tom in a professional, efficient, helpful and friendly way. 2. Installation of new consumer unit with RCD and surge protection. Working in a very confined space John carried out this work in good humour as well as his innate professionalism and efficiency. On completion of the actual installation John checked that all electrical components in the house worked. 3. Installation of Class 2 lighting fitments in the Kitchen, bathroom and lounge. Including 5 wall lights, 5 ceiling downlights, 1 ceiling light, 5 under unit lights and 1 extractor fan. Work carried out by John and Tom with the minimum of disruption to our normal routine. This was carried out in the manner we had come to expect I.e. Excellent standard of work and customer service. Each of these stages were carried out within budget and within the time agreed. Andy always responded to phone calls efficiently and provided excellent customer service. Overall BJA Electrical Services exceeded expectations in all areas. I highly recommend them to everyone I know.

BJA were prompt, friendly, professional. They installed a new Consumer unit with RCD, performed electrical checks on the whole house fixing several electrical wiring problems along the way leaving me with a very positive impression of them. More than happy to recommend.

I needed some new stair lights and other small electrical jobs carried out. Andy organised the work as efficiently as always and John did a great job. Very helpful and professional. Communication is good and they turn up on time. Would highly recommend.

The work involved fitting a Tesla EV charger, which was carried out quickly and neatly. A small hiccough that occurred was speedily resolved. Very pleased with the work and being kept updated on all aspects of the job.

Lovely neat job done with absolutely no wires showing and arrived exactly as agreed. Not the cheapest but we would rather have it done properly and they even sorted out some poor work done by another trader previously.

This is the first time I have used BJA Electrical Services. Following my initial contact, I was quickly contacted to give details of the work needing to be done. I had some concerns that no-one actually visited my property to see what needed to be done - I sent photos of the lights that needed to be replaced. However all went well. Communication was excellent. A date was agreed for the work to be completed and I was kept informed at all stages. Part of the work was inadvertently missed but quickly picked up by Andy who arranged for Jason to return. Jason ensured that any dust/mess was cleared away and everything left tidy. I will certainly use BJA again and would recommend to anyone else.

BJA Electrical installed spotlights and additional plug sockets. After the initial contact, BJA replied within hours and I was contacted by phone the next day to arrange a survey for a quotation. The work in February 2023 was remedial work to address two faults identified as part of that previous body of work. Throughout both pieces of work I found them easily contactable, friendly, helpful and professional. They were able to complete the work swiftly, explaining to me what they were doing and why it was necessary and placed me at ease throughout. They even took their boots off when coming into my house without prompting which is always a good sign of respectful and courteous behaviour in my opinion.
