About

Brightspace was established in 2015 and has grown over the last few years to the current team of 3 electricians, Chad, Steve & Martin and two apprentices, Louis & Alby.

Working in both commercial and domestic installations, we provide free quotations for jobs and will happily visit the site to discuss the requirements with customers.

I am an apprentice trained electrician, with 20 years experience, initially working on the South-West coast and gradually moving into London and Kent. I have a large level of experience in new build properties and also responsive maintenance.

We are an NICEIC Approved contractor, all of our works are certificated and Part P building control certificates issues when and where required.

We cover all aspects of electrical work, including: general maintenance and repairs, rewires, fault finding, LED lighting conversions, Electrical Installation Condition Reports (Landlords certificates), fuse box upgrades, new installations and outside lighting.

Chad’s team were excellent from start to finish. Chad was always very responsive and happy to answer all my questions. Steve did a brilliant job of wiring for several new ceiling and wall lights and then installing the new fittings. He was punctual, polite and very tidy, and always happy to help with decisions on the light placement. We are delighted with the results and will be using Chad and his team in the future for more electrical work.

Really happy with Chad and his team’s work. He was quick to reply to my initial enquiry and come round and quote. On the day of the work, they arrived on time, were friendly, efficient, tidy and did a really good job. Would use again for any future electrical works.

We have used Chad and his team 3 times now for domestic electrical work, installing new sockets and lights. They always arrive when they say they will, stick to the quote, and do the work well with the minimum of mess - which they then clear up.
